Description
Claims (4)
- 単層または複数層の非対称微孔性メンブレンの製造方法であって、
メンブレン前駆体材料の溶液を注型して非対称メンブレンを形成するステップであって、前記注型により、目の詰んだ側と目の粗い側とを備えかつその間に多孔度勾配を有する前記非対称メンブレンが形成される、というステップと、
前記非対称メンブレンの層の前記目の詰んだ側に与える前記溶液中の前記メンブレン前駆体材料の濃度を、前記非対称メンブレンの層の前記目の粗い側に与えるものとは異なるように設定することで、前記非対称メンブレンの前記目の詰んだ側の多孔度と、表面多孔度の尺度である分別化領域パーセントとを増大させるステップと
を含み、
得られる非対称メンブレンが、2.9x10 −4 sec/Pa(2sec/psi)未満の泡立ち点正規化血清滞留時間を有するようにして形成されるものであり、
前記泡立ち点正規化血清滞留時間が、前記非対称メンブレンの47mm径サンプルディスクに対しての
ウシ胎児血清1L、Dulbecco Modified Eagle培地133.7g(1瓶)、炭酸水素ナトリウム37g、Hepes緩衝液100mL、および脱イオン水10Lからなる試験血清溶液を用いて、滞留時間試験を行う工程と、
サンプル非対称微孔性メンブレンに、54182.21Pa(16水銀柱インチ)の圧力をかけて、前記サンプル非対称微孔性メンブレンを通過する前記試験血清溶液500mLの濾過に要する時間(秒)を測定する工程と、
前記サンプル非対称微孔性メンブレンの水泡立ち点を、148237.10Pa(21.5psi)で測定する工程と、
測定された滞留時間を、測定された泡立ち点で除する工程と
を含む試験方法により測定される
ことを特徴とする、方法。 - 前記メンブレン前駆体材料が、PVDF、ナイロン、ポリアミド、ポリイミド、ポリエーテルスルホン、ポリスルホン、ポリアリールスルホン、PVC、PET、ポリカーボネート、セルロース、再生セルロース、セルロースエステル、ポリスチレン、ポリエーテルイミド、アクリルポリマー、メタクリルポリマー、アクリルポリマーもしくはメタクリルポリマーのコポリマー、または上記のいずれかの混合物から選択される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 得られる非対称メンブレンが、前記非対称メンブレンの目の詰んだ側における孔間の平均距離が0.4ミクロンとなるように形成される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 得られる非対称メンブレンが、前記非対称メンブレンの目の詰んだ側における表面多孔度の尺度である分別化領域パーセントが16となるように形成される、請求項1に記載の方法。
