Description
Claims (4)
- 強誘電体結晶基板の+c面に周期的な電極パターンを形成するステップと、
該電極パターンの下にドメイン反転の均一な核形成を行う第1のポーリングステップと、
前記電極パターンを利用して、前記第1のポーリングステップにおいて前記核形成されている領域に、前記強誘電体結晶基板の厚み全体にわたって深い均一なドメイン反転を形成する第2のポーリングステップと、を含み、
前記第1のポーリングステップは、コロナ放電結晶ポーリング方法を使用して行うステップであり、
前記第2のポーリングステップは、静電ポーリング方法を使用して行うステップである
ことを特徴とする強誘電体ドメイン反転法。 - 周期的な電極パターンを形成するステップは、
強誘電体基板の+c面上に金属によって形成されるステップであり、
前記電極パターンは接地されて前記第1及び第2のポーリングステップが実行される
ことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の強誘電体ドメイン反転法。 - 前記第2のポーリングステップは、
前記第1のポーリングステップ終了後、前記強誘電体結晶基板の+c面に形成されている周期的な電極パターンに対向させて前記強誘電体結晶基板の−c面に金属電極を形成し、
前記強誘電体結晶基板の+c面に形成されている周期的な電極パターンと、前記強誘電体結晶基板の−c面に形成された金属電極とを使用して、静電ポーリング方法を使用して実行するステップである
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の強誘電体ドメイン反転法。 - 前記第2のポーリングステップは、
前記強誘電体結晶基板の+c面に形成されている周期的な電極パターンと、前記強誘電体結晶基板の−c面に接触させた液体電極とを用いる静電ポーリング方法を使用して実行するステップである
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の強誘電体ドメイン反転法。
