Claims (8)
- 車体に搭載されたエンジンの排気ガス通路に設けられた上流筒体と、該上流筒体の下流側に設けられた下流筒体と、前記上流筒体と下流筒体との間に前記各筒体の軸線方向に直列に取付け、取外し可能に接続して設けられ排気ガスを浄化処理するための処理部材が内蔵された浄化部筒体とを備え、該浄化部筒体は前記上流筒体と下流筒体との間に水平方向に直列に接続してなる排気ガス処理装置において、
前記上流筒体、下流筒体、浄化部筒体には、互いに対面した状態で接続される接続面を有するフランジ部を設け、
前記上流筒体と浄化部筒体とを接続するフランジ部の接続面および/または前記下流筒体と浄化部筒体とを接続するフランジ部の接続面は、前記各筒体の軸線方向と直交する方向に対して斜めに傾斜した傾斜接続面により形成し、
前記浄化部筒体に設けられた前記傾斜接続面は、水平方向に配置された当該筒体の上面側よりも下面側の長さ寸法が小さくなるように斜め下向きに傾斜した下向き傾斜接続面として形成し、
前記上流筒体および/または下流筒体に設けられた前記傾斜接続面は、水平方向に配置された当該筒体の下面側よりも上面側の長さ寸法が小さくなるように斜め上向きに傾斜した上向き傾斜接続面として形成する構成としたことを特徴とする排気ガス処理装置。 - 前記上流筒体と下流筒体は、前記エンジンに対して前記各筒体の軸線が水平方向となるように、かつ前記浄化部筒体の挿入スペースを保って予め固定的に取付けておき、
前記浄化部筒体は、前記上流筒体と下流筒体の軸線とは直交する方向から取付け、取外しする構成としてなる請求項1に記載の排気ガス処理装置。 - 前記浄化部筒体の上流側フランジ部には前記上流筒体に向けて突出する位置決めピンを設けると共に、前記下流側フランジ部には前記下流筒体に向けて突出する他の位置決めピンを設け、
前記上流筒体のフランジ部と前記下流筒体のフランジ部には、前記各位置決めピンが係合することにより前記上流筒体と下流筒体とに対して前記浄化部筒体を位置決めする切欠溝をそれぞれ設ける構成としてなる請求項1または2に記載の排気ガス処理装置。 - 前記上流筒体のフランジ部と前記浄化部筒体の上流側フランジ部との間、および前記下流筒体のフランジ部と前記浄化部筒体の下流側フランジ部との間には、それぞれガスケットを設け、
該各ガスケットには前記各位置決めピンが挿通されるピン挿通孔をそれぞれ設け、
前記各ガスケットの前記ピン挿通孔を前記各位置決めピンに挿通した状態で、前記各位置決めピンを前記上流筒体の切欠溝と前記下流筒体の切欠溝とにそれぞれ係合する構成としてなる請求項3に記載の排気ガス処理装置。 - 前記浄化部筒体内に収容される前記処理部材は、粒子状物質除去フィルタ、酸化触媒、尿素水噴射弁、選択還元触媒のうちの1個または複数個の組合せである請求項1,2,3または4に記載の排気ガス処理装置。
- 前記浄化部筒体には、当該浄化部筒体を前記上流筒体と下流筒体との間から取外して他の場所に載置するときに正規の載置状態に保つ載置脚を設ける構成としてなる請求項1,2,3,4または5に記載の排気ガス処理装置。
- 前記浄化部筒体には、これを単体で持上げるときに把持するための把手部を設ける構成としてなる請求項1,2,3,4,5または6に記載の排気ガス処理装置。
- 前記上流筒体と下流筒体の下面側には、前記エンジンに設けられた処理装置支持ブラケットに対して防振部材を介して取付けるための支持脚を設ける構成としてなる請求項1,2,3,4,5,6または7に記載の排気ガス処理装置。
