Description
水溶性樹脂としては、ポリエチレンオキサイド、ポリプロピレンオキサイド、エチレンオキサイド−プロピレンオキサイド共重合体、ポリブチレンオキサイドなどのポリアルキレンオキサイド、またはこれらの樹脂の変性物、ポリエチレングリコール、ポリプロピレングリコール、ポリビニルアルコール、ポリビニルピロリドン、ポリ(メタ)アクリルアミド、ポリヒドロキシエチル(メタ)アクリレート、水溶性ナイロン、水溶性ウレタン、デンプン類あるいはそのアルキレンオキサイド付加物、セルロース類あるいはそのアルキレンオキサイド付加物が挙げられる。上記水溶性樹脂の内、ポリアルキレンオキサイド、ポリエチレングリコール、ポリビニルアルコールが好適に使用される。さらに好ましくは、ポリアルキレンオキサイド、ポリエチレングリコールである。
これらの内、炭酸カルシウム、酸化マグネシウム、硫酸バリウム、シリカ、珪酸白土等が好ましく用いられる。より好ましくは、炭酸カルシウム、硫酸バリウムである。これらの無機充填剤は単独で用いても良いし、2種以上混合して用いても良い。
押出温度は、好ましくは100〜270℃の範囲、更に好ましくは130〜250℃の範囲である。100℃未満では、押出安定性が得難く、また過負荷に陥りやすく、270℃を超えると、生分解性樹脂や水溶性樹脂の分解が激しくなるので好ましくない。
実施例で得られた樹脂シートから、10cm×10cm角、lmm厚の試料を調製する。試料を40℃、相対湿度60%の恒温恒湿槽に24時間放置した後の表面状態を観察する。評価基準は以下の通りである。○:表面状態の変化はほとんど認められない。ヌメリ感なし。△:表面状態の変化が若干認められる。ヌメリ感がある。×:表面がべとついている。
前項(1)と同様の試料を室温23℃において、純水5リットル中に2日間浸漬した後に取り出す。取り出した後、水道流水にて表面のヌメリ等がなくなるまで洗う。その後、シリカゲルを入れたデシケータ中で12時間乾燥させる。下記数式(1)により重量減少率を算出する。10枚の試料について測定し、その平均値を算出する。

ここで、WR:重量減少率(%)、W1:浸漬前の重量、W2:浸漬後の重量。
レーザー回折散乱法粒度分布測定器(日機装(株)製、形式:マイクロトラックX−100)を用いて計測し、平均粒径(μm)を測定する。
水酸基価(KOHmg/g)。
〈ジグリセリンテトラアセテートの調製〉
ジグリセリン84g、及び無水酢酸415gを反応フラスコに入れ、強酸性イオン交換樹脂(ダウケミカル社製、商品名:ダウエックスMSC−1)2.5gを追加し、撹拌しながら80〜90℃で1時間反応を行った。冷却後、イオン交換樹脂を濾別し、生成した酢酸および未反応の無水酢酸を減圧留去し、ジグリセリンテトラアセテート161.5gを得た。これは、一般式(1)におけるR1〜R4が全て炭素数2のアシル基、nは1である、酸価が0.2、水酸基価が31である。
生分解性樹脂、可塑剤、水溶性樹脂、及び無機充填剤を〔表1〕〜[表3]に示す材料、割合にて混合し、分散剤としてステアリン酸カルシウム(日東化成(株)製)を加え、ヘンシェルミキサーを用いて室温で混合して生分解性樹脂組成物を製造した。得られた樹脂組成物を190℃において、2軸スクリュー押出機にて混練した。さらに、混練物を180℃、10MPaにおいてプレスして30℃にてクエンチして、厚さ0.5mmのシート状に加工した。得られたシートについて上記方法に従って物性を評価した。得られた結果を〔表1〕〜[表3]に示す。
PLA:ポリ乳酸(三井化学(株)製、商品名:レイシア)、PBS:ポリブチレンサクシネート(昭和高分子(株)製、商品名:ビオノーレ1001)、m−PBT:ポリブチレンサクシネート・テレフタレート(BASF社製、商品名:エコフレックス)、PES:ポリエチレンサクシネート(日本触媒(株)製、商品名:ルナーレSE)、A:可塑剤(調製例1で得られたジグリセリンテトラアセテート)、PAO:ポリアルキレンオキサイド(住友精化(株)製、商品名:アクアコークTW)、PEG:ポリエチレングリコール(三洋化成工業(株)製、商品名:4000S)、PVA:ポリビニルアルコール、((株)クラレ製、商品名:CP−1000)、CaCO3:重質炭酸カルシウム(同和カルフィン(株)製・商品名:SST−40、平均粒径2μm)、BaSO4:沈降性硫酸バリウム(バライト工業(株)製、商品名:ST、平均粒径0.9μm)、talc:タルク、水溶性樹脂添加量(対生分解性樹脂100重量部):生分解性樹脂100重量部に対する水溶性樹脂の量(重量部)、実施例12:PLAとm−PBTをそれぞれ16重量部用いた、比較例6の重量減少率及び表面状態の「一」印:成形できなかったことを示す。
Claims (6)
- 乳酸系ポリマー、及びポリアルキレンサクシネートから選ばれた少なくとも一種の樹脂からなる生分解性樹脂25〜80重量%、無機充填剤75〜20重量%(但し、生分解性樹脂+無機充填剤=100重量%とする。)、及び、前記生分解性樹脂100重量部に対して、ポリアルキレンオキサイド、及びポリエチレングリコールから選ばれた少なくとも一種の水溶性樹脂3〜100重量部を含む生分解性樹脂組成物を成形加工してなる生理用タンポンのアプリケータ、生理用ナプキン包装用フィルム、使い捨ておむつ用バックシート、及び医療用衣類から選ばれた一種のトイレ又は台所流しへ放流処理可能な衛生用品。
- 乳酸系ポリマーがポリ乳酸であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の衛生用品。
- ポリアルキレンサクシネートが、ポリブチレンサクシネート、ポリブチレンサクシネート・アジペート、ポリブチレンサクシネート・テレフタレート、及びポリエチレンサクシネートから選ばれた少なくとも一種の樹脂であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の衛生用品。
- 無機充填剤が、炭酸カルシウム、硫酸バリウム、タルク、クレー、シリカ、及び雲母から選ばれた少なくとも一種の化合物であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の衛生用品。
- 生分解性樹脂組成物が、生分解性樹脂100重量部に対して可塑剤1〜50重量部を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の衛生用品。
- 23℃の水に2日間浸漬したときの重量減少率が少なくとも3%であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の衛生用品。
