Claims (4)
- ユーザ端末と複数のプリンタ装置を有するネットワーク印刷システムにおけるプリンタ装置の潜在的な故障を識別する方法であって、
ネットワーク内のプリントジョブに関するジョブ追跡データを収集するステップと、
前記ジョブ追跡データに少なくとも部分的に基づいて、プリンタ装置の潜在的な故障を識別するステップと、
を含み、
前記プリンタ装置の潜在的な故障を識別するステップは、
前記ジョブ追跡データに基づいて、前記ユーザ端末と前記複数のプリンタ装置との間の関連性を示す親和性データを決定するステップと、
前記親和性データの変化を特定するステップと、
前記親和性データの前記変化に少なくとも部分的に基づいて、プリンタ装置の潜在的な故障を識別するステップと、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法であって、前記親和性データを決定するステップは、さらに、
前記ジョブ追跡データに基づいて、前記複数のプリンタ装置間の関連性を示す親和性データを決定する、
ことを特徴とする方法。 - ユーザ端末と複数のプリンタ装置を有するネットワーク印刷システムにおけるプリンタ装置の潜在的な故障を識別するシステムであって、
ネットワーク内のプリントジョブに関するジョブ追跡データを収集するように動作可能な親和性コンポーネントと、
前記ジョブ追跡データに少なくとも部分的に基づいて、プリンタ装置の潜在的な故障を識別するように動作可能な故障検出コンポーネントと、
を備え、
前記親和性コンポーネントは、前記ユーザ端末と前記複数のプリンタ装置との関連性を示す親和性データを、前記ジョブ追跡データに基づいて決定するように動作可能であり、
前記故障検出コンポーネントは、前記親和性データの変化を特定し、前記親和性データの前記変化に少なくとも部分的に基づいて、プリンタ装置の潜在的な故障を識別する、
ことを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項3に記載のシステムであって、前記親和性コンポーネントは、さらに、
前記複数のプリンタ装置間の関連性を示す親和性データを、前記ジョブ追跡データに基づいて決定するように動作可能である、
ことを特徴とするシステム。
