Description
本出願は、米国特許法第119条(e)に基づき、2005年12月27日に出願された米国仮特許出願第60/754,962号明細書(この記載内容全体を本明細書に援用する)の優先権を主張する。
R”=反応性基であり、
R’’’=アルキル、フルオロアルキル、アリールであり、
Ar、Ar’=独立してフェニレン、ナフチレン、またはビフェニレンであり、

本明細書に開示されるコポリマーを含む液体を提供するステップと、
アノードを提供するステップと、
コポリマーを含む液体をアノードと接触させるステップと、
コポリマーから液体を除去して正孔輸送膜を形成するステップと、
加熱して、正孔輸送膜のコポリマーを架橋させるステップと、
発光体を提供するステップと、
発光体を正孔輸送膜に隣接して配置するステップと、
電子輸送体を提供し、その電子輸送体を発光体に隣接して配置するステップと、
電子輸送体に隣接してカソードを提供するステップとを含む、方法もさらに提供する。
本明細書において開示されるコポリマーを含有する少なくとも1層を正孔輸送層として含む有機電子デバイスも提供する。図1を参照すると、代表的な有機電子デバイス100が示されている。デバイス100は基体105を含む。基体105は、剛性または可撓性であってよく、たとえば、ガラス、セラミック、金属、またはプラスチックであってよい。電圧が印加されると、発せられた光は基体105を通して見ることができる。
この実施例はコポリマー12の合成を示す:
本出願は、特許請求の範囲に記載の発明を含め以下の発明を包含する。
(1) A1〜A5からなる群から選択される少なくとも1つの第1のモノマーと、
R”=反応性基であり、
R’’’=アルキル、パーフルオロアルキル、アリールであり、
Ar=独立してフェニレン、ナフチレン、またはビフェニレンであり、

(2) b=0または1であることを特徴とする(1)に記載のコポリマー。
(3) b=0であることを特徴とする(2)に記載のコポリマー。
(4) 前記第1のモノマーがモノマーA1であることを特徴とする(1)に記載のコポリマー。
(5) a=b=0であることを特徴とする(4)に記載のコポリマー。
(6) Rが3−ビニルフェニルであることを特徴とする(5)に記載のコポリマー。
(7) コポリマー1〜19から選択されることを特徴とするコポリマー。
(9) (1)に記載の少なくとも1つのコポリマーを含む少なくとも1つの層を含むことを特徴とする有機電子デバイス。
(10) 前記少なくとも1つの層がバッファ層であることを特徴とする(9)に記載の有機電子デバイス。
(11) 前記少なくとも1つの層が正孔輸送層であることを特徴とする(9)に記載の有機電子デバイス。
(12) (7)に記載の少なくとも1つのコポリマーを含む少なくとも1つの層を含むことを特徴とする有機電子デバイス。
(13) 前記少なくとも1つの層がバッファ層であることを特徴とする(12)に記載の有機電子デバイス。
(14) 前記少なくとも1つの層が正孔輸送層であることを特徴とする(12)に記載の有機電子デバイス。
(15) (9)に記載の有機電子デバイスであって、前記デバイスが、以下の構造、即ち、アノード、バッファ層、正孔輸送層、光活性層、電子輸送層、電子注入層、カソードの構造をこの順序で有することを特徴とする有機電子デバイス。
(16) (12)に記載の有機電子デバイスであって、前記デバイスが、以下の構造、即ち、アノード、バッファ層、正孔輸送層、光活性層、電子輸送層、電子注入層、カソードの構造をこの順序で有することを特徴とする有機電子デバイス。
(17) 有機電子デバイスの製造方法であって、
(1)に記載のコポリマーを含む液体を提供するステップと、
アノードを提供するステップと、
前記コポリマーを含む前記液体を前記アノードと接触させるステップと、
前記コポリマーから前記液体を除去して正孔輸送膜を形成するステップと、
加熱して、前記正孔輸送膜の前記コポリマーを架橋させるステップと、
発光体を提供するステップと、
前記発光体を前記正孔輸送膜に隣接して配置するステップと、
電子輸送体を提供し、前記電子輸送体を前記発光体に隣接して配置するステップと、
前記電子輸送体に隣接してカソードを提供するステップとを含むことを特徴とする方法。
(18) 有機電子デバイスの製造方法であって、
(7)に記載のコポリマーを含む液体を提供するステップと、
アノードを提供するステップと、
前記コポリマーを含む前記液体を前記アノードと接触させるステップと、
前記コポリマーから前記液体を除去して正孔輸送膜を形成するステップと、
加熱して、前記正孔輸送膜の前記コポリマーを架橋させるステップと、
発光体を提供するステップと、
前記発光体を前記正孔輸送膜に隣接して配置するステップと、
電子輸送体を提供し、前記電子輸送体を前記発光体に隣接して配置するステップと、
前記電子輸送体に隣接してカソードを提供するステップとを含むことを特徴とする方法。
Claims (6)
- 請求項1に記載の少なくとも1つのコポリマーを含む少なくとも1つの層を含むことを特徴とする有機電子デバイス。
- 前記少なくとも1つの層が、バッファ層および正孔輸送層からなる群から選択される層であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の有機電子デバイス。
- 前記少なくとも1つの層が正孔輸送層であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の有機電子デバイス。
- 請求項2に記載の有機電子デバイスであって、前記デバイスが以下の構造、即ち、アノード、バッファ層、正孔輸送層、光活性層、電子輸送層、電子注入層、カソードの構造をこの順序で有することを特徴とする有機電子デバイス。
- 有機電子デバイスの製造方法であって、
請求項1に記載のコポリマーを含む液体を提供するステップと、
アノードを提供するステップと、
前記コポリマーを含む前記液体を前記アノードと接触させるステップと、
前記コポリマーから前記液体を除去して正孔輸送膜を形成するステップと、
加熱して、前記正孔輸送膜の前記コポリマーを架橋させるステップと、
発光体を提供するステップと、
前記発光体を前記正孔輸送膜に隣接して配置するステップと、
電子輸送体を提供し、前記電子輸送体を前記発光体に隣接して配置するステップと、
前記電子輸送体に隣接してカソードを提供するステップとを含むことを特徴とする方法。
