前記第2クラッチ(C3)のクラッチドラム(32及び50)は、前記第1クラッチ(C4)のクラッチドラム(42)を内包すると共に、前記第2クラッチドラム(32及び50)と前記第1クラッチドラム(42)とは相対回転が生じず同回転となり、
前記第2クラッチ(C3)のクラッチドラム(32及び50)は、該第1クラッチ(C4)のピストン(43)の内周側を支持する第1基底部(50a)と、前記第1クラッチ(C4)のピストン(43)と前記第1基底部(50a)とで構成される第1クラッチ(C4)の作動油室(46)よりも外周側に配置され、前記第2クラッチ(C3)のキャンセルプレート(34)を該第2クラッチ(C3)のキャンセルプレート(34)の内周側で支持すると共に、前記第2クラッチ(C3)のピストン(33)を該第2クラッチ(C3)のピストン(33)の内周側で支持して第2クラッチ(C3)の作動油室(36)を構成する第2基底部(50c)と、を有し、
前記第1クラッチ(C4)のクラッチドラム(42)を前記第2基底部(50c)に対して抜止めする方向に規制する規制部材(51)を備え、
前記第2クラッチ(C3)のキャンセルプレート(34)が、前記第1クラッチ(C4)のクラッチドラム(42)に当接したことを特徴とする。

Claims (1)
- 隣接して配置された第1及び第2クラッチを備え、前記第1及び第2クラッチが、それぞれ、摩擦板と、該摩擦板をスプライン係合させるクラッチドラムと、作動油室を構成するピストンと、該ピストンを前記作動油室側に付勢するリターンスプリングと、前記ピストンの前記作動油室とは反対側に配置されて該作動油室に作用する遠心油圧をキャンセルするキャンセル油室を構成すると共に前記リターンスプリングの反力を受圧するキャンセルプレートと、を有してなる自動変速機において、
前記第2クラッチのクラッチドラムは、前記第1クラッチのクラッチドラムを内包すると共に、前記第2クラッチドラムと前記第1クラッチドラムとは相対回転が生じず同回転となり、
前記第2クラッチのクラッチドラムは、該第1クラッチのピストンの内周側を支持する第1基底部と、前記第1クラッチのピストンと前記第1基底部とで構成される第1クラッチの作動油室よりも外周側に配置され、前記第2クラッチのキャンセルプレートを該第2クラッチのキャンセルプレートの内周側で支持すると共に、前記第2クラッチのピストンを該第2クラッチのピストンの内周側で支持して第2クラッチの作動油室を構成する第2基底部と、を有し、
前記第1クラッチのクラッチドラムを前記第2基底部に対して抜止めする方向に規制する規制部材を備え、
前記第2クラッチのキャンセルプレートが、前記第1クラッチのクラッチドラムに当接した、
ことを特徴とする自動変速機。
