Description
Claims (4)
- 車両の進行方向に対してエンジンの後方に配設される自動変速機であって、
該自動変速機は複数のクラッチおよびブレーキを係脱して複数段に変速する変速機構を備えるものにおいて、
該変速機構は、円筒支持部と、
第1ドラムと、該第1ドラムとともに第1シリンダ室を形成する第1ピストンとを有するとともに、前記複数のクラッチのうちの1つを操作可能とする第1油圧サーボと、
前記第1ドラムのボス部の内周一端かつ前記円筒支持部の外周に配設されるとともに、前記第1ドラムを回転自在に支持する主軸受と、
前記第1ドラムのボス部の内周他端に圧入されるとともに前記円筒支持部と遊嵌し、前記第1ドラムが車両の進行方向に傾いた場合にのみ前記円筒支持部に当接するとともに、前記主軸受と比して軸方向長さを短くされた補助軸受とを有することを特徴とする自動変速機。 - 請求項1において、前記円筒支持部は、ミッションケースより延設されるボス部とされ、
前記変速機構は、前記ミッションケースのボス部に形成される第1作動油供給油路と、前記第1ドラムのボス部に形成される第1作動油供給孔とを有し、
前記第1シリンダ室への作動油の供給は、前記第1作動油供給油路と、前記第1作動油供給孔とを、前記第1ドラムのボス部と、前記ミッションケースのボス部との間に配設される一対のシールリングを介すことで行うことを特徴とする自動変速機。 - 請求項2において、前記変速機構は、第2ドラムと、該第2ドラムのボス上に摺動可能に配設されるとともに、該第2ドラムとともに第2シリンダ室を形成する第2ピストンとを有する第2油圧サーボと、
前記ミッションケースのボス部に形成される第2作動油供給油路と、前記第1ドラムのボス部に形成される第2作動油供給孔と、前記第2ドラムのボス部に形成される第3作動油供給孔とを有するとともに、
前記第1ドラムは、車両の進行方向後方へ向けて開口され、
前記第1ドラムと前記第2ドラムとは、前記第1ドラムのボス部の車両の進行方向後方側端部の外周面に形成される第1スプライン歯と前記第2ドラムのボス部の内周面に形成される第2スプライン歯とによるスプライン係合部によって一体回転可能に係合されるとともに、前記第1油圧サーボに対して車両の進行方向後方側に第2油圧サーボが配設され、
前記主軸受は、前記第1ドラムのボス部の車両の進行方向後方側端部の内周側に配設され、
前記第2シリンダ室への作動油の供給は、前記第2作動油供給油路と、前記第2作動油供給孔とを、前記第1ドラムのボス部と、前記ミッションケースのボス部との間に配設される一対のシールリングを介すとともに、前記第2作動油供給孔と前記第3作動油供給孔とを前記第1ドラムのボス部と前記第2ドラムのボス部との間に配設される一対のシールリングを介すことで行うことを特徴とする自動変速機。 - 請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれか1項において、前記主軸受をメタルブッシュによって構成してなる自動変速機。
