Claims (4)
- 複数のクラッチおよびブレーキを係脱して複数段に変速する変速機構を備え、
該変速機構は、第1ドラムと、該第1ドラムに配設される第1摩擦係合要素と、前記第1ドラムのボス部上に摺動可能に配設されるとともに、前記第1ドラムとともに第1シリンダ室を形成し、該第1シリンダ室に供給される圧油により前記第1摩擦係合要素を押圧可能とされる第1ピストンとを有する第1のクラッチと、
前記第1ドラムに内包される第2ドラムと、該第2ドラムに配設される第2摩擦係合要素と、前記第2ドラムのボス部上に摺動可能に配設されるとともに、前記第2ドラムとともに第2シリンダ室を形成し、該第2シリンダ室に供給される圧油により前記第2摩擦係合要素を押圧可能とされる第2ピストンとを有する第2のクラッチとを有するとともに、
前記第2ドラムは、前記第2摩擦係合要素に供給される潤滑油をドレーン可能とするとともに、該第2のクラッチの係合時には潤滑油のドレーン量を制限するドレーン孔を有し、
前記第1ピストンは、前記第1ドラムの外周部と前記第2ドラムとの間を介して前記第1摩擦係合要素を押圧可能とされた、
自動変速機における潤滑装置において、
前記第1ピストンの内周面に前記第2のクラッチを潤滑し前記ドレーン孔よりドレーンされた潤滑油を溜める油溜まりを設け、該油溜まりの軸方向における前記第1摩擦係合要素側に第1の堰を設けるとともに、前記油溜まりの軸方向における前記第1シリンダ室側に前記第1の堰より内径の大きい第2の堰を設けるとともに、
前記第2のクラッチが非係合で前記油溜まりに供給される油量が多くなった場合に前記第1の堰より潤滑油をあふれさせて前記第1摩擦係合要素に潤滑油を振り分けるように構成したことを特徴とする自動変速機における潤滑装置。 - 請求項1において、前記第1ドラムの外周にブレーキを配置し、前記第2の堰より潤滑油を、前記第1ピストンおよび前記第1ドラムに形成した開口部を介して前記ブレーキに供給するようにしてなる自動変速機における潤滑装置。
- 請求項1または2において、前記第1のクラッチは、所定の低速段と所定の高速段で係合されるとともに、前記第2のクラッチは、前記所定の低速段への変速のときには非係合状態とされるとともに、前記所定の高速段への変速のときには係合状態とされる自動変速機における潤滑装置。
- 請求項1ないし3において、前記変速機構はプラネタリギヤを有するとともに、
該プラネタリギヤのリングギヤは、前記第1摩擦係合要素の径方向内周側に配設され、
該リングギヤを潤滑した潤滑油が、前記第1摩擦係合要素に供給されることを特徴とする自動変速機における潤滑装置。
