Description
(1)無機系気泡調整剤が、タルクまたは炭酸カルシウムである、
(2)一般式1で表される構造を有するヒンダードフェノールが、下記一般式2で表される1,3,5−トリス(3,5−ジ−t−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシベンジル)イソシアヌレートである、
(4)ノニオン系界面活性剤が、炭素数が6〜30である脂肪酸のグリセリンエステルである、
前記記載のポリプロピレン系樹脂発泡粒子に関する。
硬度(mg/L)=カルシウム量(mg/L)×2.5+マグネシウム量(mg/L)×4.1
誘導結合プラズマ質量分析法により水性媒体中のカルシウム、マグネシウム濃度を測定し、炭酸カルシウム量に換算して求めた。
発泡粒子3〜10g程度を取り、60℃で6時間乾燥したのち重量wを測定後、水を入れたメスシリンダーに投入して水没させ、水面上昇から体積vを測定し、発泡粒子の真比重ρb=w/vを求め、原料組成物の密度ρr(=0.9g/cm3)との比から発泡倍率K=ρr/ρbを求めた。
無作為に選んだ20個の発泡粒子のそれぞれについて、ほぼ中央を切断し、現れた断面を拡大観察する。ここで、断面ほぼ中心で直交するX軸とY軸を引き、断面ほぼ中心のX軸とY軸が交差する点を中心O、X軸が断面端部と交差する点をそれぞれA、A’、Y軸が断面端部と交差する点をB、B’とした。
平均気泡径L(av)の測定において、1個の発泡粒子における気泡径バラツキ(S’)を次の式(2)から算出した。
ポリプロピレン系樹脂型内発泡成形体を温度20℃、相対湿度65%の室内に48時間保存した後、アドバンテスト(株)製の超絶抵抗計TR8601を用いて、成形体表面の表面固有抵抗を測定した。
○:1×1012Ω未満
×:1×1012Ω以上
ポリプロピレン系樹脂型内発泡成形体の表面にナイフで約5mmの深さのクラックを入れたのち、このクラックに沿ってポリプロピレン系樹脂型内発泡成形体を割り、破断面を観察し、観察した全粒子数に対する破壊粒子数の割合を求め、成形体融着率とした。
○:しわ少なく、粒間(発泡粒子の間のへこみ、穴など)少なく、美麗
△:しわが少ないが、粒間(発泡粒子の間のへこみ、穴など)がやや目立つ
×:しわがある、あるいは粒間が顕著であり、ヒケなどもあり外観不良
次に実施例と比較例を具体的に示すが、得られたポリプロピレン系樹脂発泡粒子は、いずれの場合も示差走査熱量測定によって得られるDSC曲線において、2つの融解ピークを有しており、2つの融解ピークのうち高温側の吸熱ピーク熱量Qhとしては、8〜18J/gの範囲であった。
ポリプロピレン系樹脂組成物a(エチレン含有率3.0重量%、MI=6g/10分、融点144℃)100重量部に対し、1,3,5−トリス(3,5−ジ−t−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシベンジル)イソシアヌレート(チバ・ジャパン製IRGANOX3114)0.2重量部、触媒残渣中和剤としてステアリン酸カルシウム0.05重量部を混合し、次いでこの混合物を45mmφ二軸押出機に供給し、ダイス先端温度200℃で溶融混練した後、押出し、水冷後、カッターで切断し、ポリプロピレン系樹脂組成物Aを得た。
ポリエチレングリコールを用いず、無機系気泡調整剤を、タルク0.05重量部に代えて、ホウ酸亜鉛0.1重量部とした以外は実施例1と同様にした。評価した結果を表1に示す。
ヒンダードフェノールを、1,3,5−トリス(3,5−ジ−t−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシベンジル)イソシアヌレートに代えて、1,3,5−トリス[(3,5−ジ−t−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシフェニル)プロピオニルオキシエチル] イソシアヌレートとした以外は実施例1と同様にした。評価した結果を表1に示す。
ノニオン系界面活性剤のステアリン酸グリセリンエステルを、ヒドロキシアルキルモノエタノールアミン(一般式3において、R4が炭素数10と12の混合物:ミヨシ油脂製ダスパー125B)とした以外は実施例1と同様にした。評価した結果を表1に示す。
ヒンダードフェノールの1,3,5−トリス(3,5−ジ−t−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシベンジル)イソシアヌレートの添加量を0.1重量部とした以外は実施例1と同様にした。評価した結果を表1に示す。
ヒンダードフェノールの1,3,5−トリス(3,5−ジ−t−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシベンジル)イソシアヌレートの添加量を0.1重量部としたことと、ポリエチレングリコールを添加しなかった点を除いて、実施例4記載にしたがってヒドロキシアルキルモノエタノールアミン添加ポリプロピレン系樹脂粒子までを作製した。
ノニオン系界面活性剤であるステアリン酸グリセリンエステルを用いず、ポリプロピレン系樹脂組成物A100重量部に対し、ポリエチレングリコール(平均分子量300、ライオン製)を0.2重量部プリブレンドし、次に無機系気泡調整剤としてタルク(林化成製、タルカンパウダーPK−S)0.05重量部を加えブレンドした以外は、実施例1と同様にした。評価した結果を表1に示す。
ヒンダードフェノールを、1,3,5−トリス(3,5−ジ−t−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシベンジル)イソシアヌレートに代えて、ペンタエリスリチル・テトラキス[3−(3,5−ジ−t−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシフェニル)プロピオネート](チバ・ジャパン製IRGANOX1010)とした以外は実施例1と同様にした。評価した結果を表1に示す。
Claims (7)
- 無機系気泡調整剤が、タルクまたは炭酸カルシウムである請求項1記載のポリプロピレン系樹脂発泡粒子。
- 気泡径バラツキが0.4未満である請求項1〜3何れか一項に記載のポリプロピレン系樹脂発泡粒子。
- ノニオン系界面活性剤が、炭素数が6〜30である脂肪酸のグリセリンエステルである請求項1〜4何れか一項に記載のポリプロピレン系樹脂発泡粒子。
- 請求項1〜5何れか一項に記載のポリプロピレン系樹脂発泡粒子を金型に充填し、加熱して得られるポリプロピレン系樹脂型内発泡成形体。
- ポリプロピレン系樹脂100重量部に対し、ノニオン系界面活性剤0.05重量部以上5重量部以下、無機系気泡調整剤0.005重量部以上0.5重量部以下、下記一般式1で表される構造を有するヒンダードフェノール0.005重量部以上0.5重量部以下を含んでなるポリプロピレン系樹脂組成物からなるポリプロピレン系樹脂粒子と、水、無機系分散剤、分散助剤を耐圧容器中に収容した後、攪拌条件下に分散させるとともに、発泡剤の存在下、前記ポリプロピレン系樹脂粒子の軟化点温度以上に昇温し、次いで耐圧容器の内圧よりも低い圧力域に耐圧容器中の分散液を放出して発泡させる、気泡径バラツキが0.4未満であるポリプロピレン系樹脂発泡粒子の製造方法。
