Claims (10)
- カソード電極が第2電源に接続される有機発光ダイオードと、
第1電源から前記有機発光ダイオードを経由して前記第2電源に流れる電流量を制御する第1トランジスタと、
データ線に接続され、i(iは自然数)番目の走査線に走査信号が供給されたときにターンオンされる第2トランジスタと、
前記第2トランジスタと前記第1トランジスタのゲート電極との間に接続され、i+1番目の走査線に走査信号が供給されたときにターンオンされる第3トランジスタと、
前記第1トランジスタのゲート電極と基準電源との間に接続され、前記i番目の走査線に前記走査信号が供給されたときにターンオンされる第4トランジスタと、
前記有機発光ダイオードのアノード電極と初期電源との間に接続され、制御線に制御信号が供給されたときにターンオンされる第5トランジスタと、
前記第2トランジスタ及び第3トランジスタの共通ノードと前記有機発光ダイオードのアノード電極との間に接続される第1キャパシタと、
前記共通ノードと前記第1トランジスタのゲート電極との間に接続される第2キャパシタとを備え、
前記第5トランジスタは、i番目の制御線に制御信号が供給された時にターンオンされることを特徴とする画素。 - 前記第5トランジスタは、前記第2トランジスタがターンオンされる期間のうちの一部の期間においてターンオンされることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の画素。
- 前記第5トランジスタは、前記第2トランジスタと同時にターンオンされることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の画素。
- 前記基準電源は、前記初期電源より高い電圧に設定されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の画素。
- 走査線に走査信号を順次供給し、制御線に制御信号を順次供給するための走査駆動部と、
データ線に前記走査信号と同期するようにデータ信号を供給するためのデータ駆動部と、
前記走査線、制御線、及びデータ線の交差部に位置する画素を備え、
i(iは自然数)番目の水平ラインに位置する前記画素は、
カソード電極が第2電源に接続される有機発光ダイオードと、
第1電源から前記有機発光ダイオードを経由して前記第2電源に流れる電流量を制御する第1トランジスタと、
データ線に接続され、i番目の走査線に前記走査信号が供給されたときにターンオンされる第2トランジスタと、
前記第2トランジスタと前記第1トランジスタのゲート電極との間に接続され、i+1番目の走査線に前記走査信号が供給されたときにターンオンされる第3トランジスタと、
前記第1トランジスタのゲート電極と基準電源との間に接続され、前記i番目の走査線に前記走査信号が供給されたときにターンオンされる第4トランジスタと、
前記有機発光ダイオードのアノード電極と初期電源との間に接続され、i番目の制御線に前記制御信号が供給されたときにターンオンされる第5トランジスタと、
前記第2トランジスタ及び第3トランジスタの共通ノードと前記有機発光ダイオードのアノード電極との間に接続される第1キャパシタと、
前記共通ノードと前記第1トランジスタのゲート電極との間に接続される第2キャパシタとを備えることを特徴とする有機電界発光表示装置。 - 前記データ信号の電圧は、前記基準電源と同一または高い電圧に設定されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記初期電源は、前記基準電源から前記第1トランジスタのしきい値電圧を減じた電圧より低い電圧に設定されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記初期電源は、前記有機発光ダイオードがオフ可能な電圧に設定されることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記走査駆動部は、前記走査信号が供給される期間のうちの一部の期間において前記制御信号を供給することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記走査駆動部は、前記i番目の走査線に供給される走査信号と同時に、前記i番目の制御線に前記制御信号の供給を開始することを特徴とする請求項9に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
