Description
耐衝撃性PLEXIGLAS(R)成形材料は公知であり、かつRoehm GmbH&Co.KG社からたとえば商品タイプPLEXIGLAS(R)zkBR、PLEXIGLAS(R)zkHC、PLEXIGLAS(R)zkHT、PLEXIGLAS(R)zkHFおよびPLEXIGLAS(R)zkで市販されている。
相互貫入型網状構造、ポリウレタンコポリマーまたは耐衝撃性改良剤の煩雑な分離工程を必要としない成形体(PMMA)の製造方法を見出すという課題が生じた。さらに新規の成形体の製造を既存の装置の大幅な改良なしで行うことができる場合には有利である。
耐衝撃性プラスチック成形体は、耐衝撃性改良剤または耐衝撃性改良剤を含有するPMMAをMMAまたは重合を開始したMMA(シラップ)中に溶解させ、かつ該溶液を引き続きセルに流し、かつ自体公知の方法により重合することにより得られることが判明した。
メチルメタクリレート 98〜99質量%、
不飽和カルボン酸 0〜0.3質量%、
架橋剤 0〜1質量%、
安定剤 0.5〜1質量%、
調節剤 0〜0.01質量%、
開始剤 0〜0.01質量%
離型剤 0.01〜1.0質量%。
コア: メチルメタクリレート 94〜97質量%
エチルアクリレート 2〜5質量%
架橋剤 1〜0.1質量%
シェルI: ブチルアクリレート 79〜82質量%
スチレンまたはα−メチルスチレン 13〜18質量%
架橋剤 0.1〜1質量%
シェルII: メチルメタクリレート 90〜98質量%
エチルアクリレート 10〜2質量%
耐衝撃性改良剤(コアまたはシェルI)中の架橋剤としてたとえばジ(メタ)アクリレートまたはジビニルベンゼンまたはアリル(メタ)アクリレートを使用することができる。架橋剤成分の混合物もまた可能である。コア:シェルI:シェルIIの質量比は20〜30:30〜50:20〜40質量%である。耐衝撃性改良剤およびその製造はたとえばEP0828772またはUS3,793,402またはUS4,690,986に記載されている。
通例の注型法によりガラス板の間で寸法2100×1290×4.0mmを有するプレートを製造する。

コア−シェルI−シェルII構造を有する耐衝撃性改良剤 36.746質量%
コア:耐衝撃性改良剤に対して、MMAおよび架橋剤からなるコポリマー23質量%、
シェルI:耐衝撃性改良剤に対して、ブチルアクリレート、スチレンおよび架橋剤からなるコポリマー47質量%、
シェルII:耐衝撃性改良剤に対して、MMA、スチレン、ブチルアクリレート、エチルアクリレートおよび架橋剤からなるコポリマー30質量%。
Claims (4)
- 注型法において
メチルメタクリレート 65〜99.5質量%、
不飽和カルボン酸 0〜3質量%、
コア−シェルまたはコア−シェルI−シェルIIの耐衝撃性改良剤
0.5〜35質量%、
架橋剤 0〜1質量%、
安定剤 0.5〜1質量%、
開始剤 0.001〜0.1質量%
離型剤 0.01〜1.0質量%および
調節剤 0.001〜0.031質量%
からなる混合物を重合することにより得られるプラスチック成形体であって、耐衝撃性改良剤が、PMMAとのマスターバッチの形であることを特徴とする、プラスチック成形体。 - マスターバッチが耐衝撃性改良剤10〜50質量%およびPMMA50〜90%からなることを特徴とする、請求項1記載のプラスチック成形体。
- 防音壁を製造するための請求項1または2記載のプラスチック成形体の使用。
- バルコニー外装を製造するための請求項1または2記載のプラスチック成形体の使用。
