Claims (6)
- 中心電極と、
前記中心電極の軸線方向に延びる軸孔を有し、その軸孔の内部で前記中心電極を保持する絶縁碍子と、
前記絶縁碍子の径方向周囲を取り囲み、前記絶縁碍子を保持する主体金具と、
一端部が前記主体金具に接合され、他端部が前記中心電極と対向する接地電極と、
前記中心電極の先端部または前記接地電極の他端部の少なくとも一方に接続された貴金属チップと
を備え、
前記貴金属チップは、
Rhを5重量%以上30重量%以下とし、
Xを5重量%以上20重量%以下とし(ただし、Xは、Ir,Re,Ruのうちの一種または2種以上の組合せとする。)、
Niを0.5重量%以上1.5重量%以下とし、
残部をPtとすることを特徴とするスパークプラグ。 - 前記貴金属チップに含有されたRhの含有量は、10重量%以上30重量%以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のスパークプラグ。
- 前記Rhの含有量が、20重量%以下であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のスパークプラグ。
- 前記貴金属チップに含有されたXはIrであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のスパークプラグ。
- 前記Irの含有量が、8重量%以下であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のスパークプラグ。
- 前記貴金属チップは、さらに、希土類酸化物を含有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載のスパークプラグ。
