Description
例えば、貴金属部材には、原材料としてIr,Rh,Ru,Niを用いるに当たって、不可避的に含まれる不可避不純物(例えば、Si,Wなど)を僅かに含むことがある。
前記貴金属部材が、Sr,Y,La,Ce,Pr,Nd,Sm,Eu,Gd,Tb,Dy,Ho,Er,Tm,Yb,Lu,Ti,Zr及びHfから選ばれる元素の酸化物(複合酸化物を含む)を含むスパークプラグとすると良い。
Claims (11)
- 中心電極と、
この中心電極の少なくとも側方に位置し、上記中心電極との間で火花放電ギャップを構成する側方電極と、を備えるスパークプラグであって、
上記中心電極及び側方電極のうち少なくともいずれかは、上記火花放電ギャップを臨む貴金属部材を含み、
上記貴金属部材は、Irを主成分とし、Rhを6.5質量%以上43質量%以下と、Ruを5.2質量%以上41質量%以下と、Niを0.4質量%以上19質量%以下と、を含む
スパークプラグ。 - 請求項1に記載のスパークプラグであって、
前記貴金属部材が、Irを主成分とし、Rhを6.5質量%以上36質量%以下と、Ruを5.2質量%以上36質量%以下と、Niを0.4質量%以上11質量%以下と、を含む
スパークプラグ。 - 請求項1に記載のスパークプラグであって、
前記貴金属部材が、Irを主成分とし、Rhを6.5質量%以上31質量%以下と、Ruを5.2質量%以上31質量%以下と、Niを0.4質量%以上7質量%以下と、を含む
スパークプラグ。 - 請求項1に記載のスパークプラグであって、
前記貴金属部材が、Irを主成分とし、Rhを6.5質量%以上22質量%以下と、Ruを5.2質量%以上24質量%以下と、Niを0.4質量%以上3.5質量%以下と、を含む
スパークプラグ。 - 請求項1〜請求項4のいずれか1項に記載のスパークプラグであって、
前記貴金属部材が、Ruを8質量%以上20質量%以下含む
スパークプラグ。 - 請求項1〜請求項5のいずれか1項に記載のスパークプラグであって、
前記貴金属部材が、Pt,Pd,Re,Osの少なくともいずれかを含む
スパークプラグ。 - 請求項1〜請求項6のいずれか1項に記載のスパークプラグであって、
前記貴金属部材が、Sr,Y,La,Ce,Pr,Nd,Sm,Eu,Gd,Tb,Dy,Ho,Er,Tm,Yb,Lu,Ti,Zr及びHfから選ばれる元素の酸化物(複合酸化物を含む)を含む
スパークプラグ。 - 請求項7に記載のスパークプラグであって、
前記貴金属部材が、Y2O3,La2O3,ThO2,ZrO2の少なくともいずれかを含む
スパークプラグ。 - 中心電極と、
この中心電極の少なくとも側方に位置し、上記中心電極との間で火花放電ギャップを構成する側方電極と、を備えるスパークプラグであって、
上記中心電極及び側方電極のうち少なくともいずれかは、上記火花放電ギャップを臨む貴金属部材を含み、
上記貴金属部材は、Irを主成分とし、Rhと、Niと、Ruを8質量%以上20質量%以下含み、Ruの含有量はIrに次いで多い
スパークプラグ。 - 請求項9に記載のスパークプラグであって、
前記貴金属部材は、Niを0.4質量%以上Ruの含有量未満含む
スパークプラグ。 - 請求項9または請求項10に記載のスパークプラグであって、
前記貴金属部材は、Rhを6.5質量%以上Ruの含有量以下含む
スパークプラグ。
