Description
(A)エチレン・α-オレフィン共重合ゴム又はエチレン・α-オレフィン・非共役ジエン共重合ゴム。
(B)エチレンと少なくとも1種のビニル単量体との共重合体で成分(A)以外の共重合体。
(C)高級脂肪酸アミド。
第1の発明の樹脂成形体の表面物性改良剤組成物は、成分(A)エチレン・α-オレフィン共重合ゴム又はエチレン・α-オレフィン・非共役ジエン共重合ゴム、成分(B)エチレンと少なくとも1種のビニル単量体との共重合体で成分(A)以外の共重合体及び成分(C)高級脂肪酸アミドを含有するものである。成分(A)は高級脂肪酸から得られる成分(C)との親和性に優れているのに対し、成分(B)は成分(C)との親和性に劣ることから、成分(C)に成分(A)と成分(B)との双方を配合することにより、成分(C)の表面移行性を抑えるようにすることができる。
本実施形態における樹脂成形体の表面物性改良剤組成物は、下記の成分(A)、成分(B)及び成分(C)を含有するものである。
(A)エチレン・α-オレフィン共重合ゴム又はエチレン・α-オレフィン・非共役ジエン共重合ゴム。
(B)エチレンと少なくとも1種のビニル単量体との共重合体で成分(A)以外の共重合体。
(C)高級脂肪酸アミド。
・ 本実施形態の樹脂成形体の表面物性改良剤組成物は、前述した成分(A)、成分(B)及び成分(C)を含有するものであり、成分(A)は成分(C)との親和性に優れ、成分(B)は成分(C)との親和性に劣る。このため、成分(C)に対する成分(A)と成分(B)との配合量を調整することにより、樹脂成形体表面への成分(C)の表面移行性を抑えるように調節することができる。従って、表面物性改良剤組成物が添加された熱可塑性樹脂組成物の樹脂成形体に滑性効果を付与することができるとともに、樹脂成形体表面の耐擦傷性及び耐摩耗性を向上させることができる。更に、ゴムよりなる成分(A)の弾性回復性の機能から、樹脂成形体表面の耐擦傷性及び耐摩耗性を一層向上させることができるとともに、成形時に付されたシボを保持するシボ残り性も向上させることができる。その上、成分(C)である滑剤のリリースコントロール性に優れていることから、滑性効果、耐傷付き性及び耐摩耗性を長期にわたって良好に維持することができる。上記のように、樹脂成形体表面への滑剤の過剰なブリードが抑えられるため、樹脂成形体の外観を良好に保持することができる。
(2)耐擦傷性:テーパースクラッチテスター((株)東洋精機製作所製)を用い、耐ブリード性試験で用いた試験片と同じ正方形プレート試験片に、回転中心から3.5cmの所に刃先がくるように刃を取り付け、ターンテーブルを0.5rpmの速度で回転させた状態で、刃に0.5Nの荷重を掛けて試験片に傷をつけた。その傷を次の評価基準で評価した。
(3)耐摩耗性:学振式堅牢度摩擦摩耗試験機((株)安田精機製作所製)を用い、耐ブリード性試験で用いた試験片と同じ正方形プレート試験片に荷重6.9N(700g・f)の荷重をかけ、カナキン3号布(綿布)により100回往復摩耗させた後の試験片表面を目視にて観察し、次の評価基準で評価した。
(4)シボ残り性:シボ残り性表皮シートの展開率が250%になる凸引き真空成形金型を用い、シートの表面温度が120℃になるようにヒータをセットして真空成形を行い、あらかじめシート表面に付けられていたシボの残り性を次の評価基準で評価した。
(5)メルトフローレート(MFR):メルトインデクサー((株)東洋精機製作所製)を用い、JIS K 7210に準拠した方法により、測定温度230℃、荷重2.16kgの条件で測定した。

EPDM:エチレン・プロピレン・5−エチリデン−2−ノルボルネン共重合ゴム(商品名:EP57P、JSR(株)製)

(実施例1〜5及び比較例1〜6、表面物性改良剤組成物の製造)
表1に示した成分及び配合割合でドライブレンドした後、シリンダー温度180℃に設定されたスクリュー径30mmの同軸方向二軸押出機で溶融、混合して、表面物性改良剤組成物のペレットを得た。
表2に示した成分及び配合割合でドライブレンドした後、シリンダー温度180℃に設定されたスクリュー径30mmの同軸方向二軸押出機で溶融、混合し、熱可塑性樹脂組成物のペレットを得た。これを用いて以下の試験を行った。
・ 表面物性改良剤組成物には、成分(A)と同様の機能を発揮することができるゴム成分、例えばクロルスルホン化ポリエチレン、エチレン−アクリル酸メチル共重合ゴム、エピクロルヒドリンゴム等を配合することもできる。
・ 前記成分(A)のエチレン・α-オレフィン共重合ゴムは、エチレン・プロピレン共重合ゴム又はエチレン・1−オクテン共重合ゴムである請求項1に記載の樹脂成形体の表面物性改良剤組成物。このように構成した場合、成分(C)との親和性を高め、樹脂成形体表面への成分(C)のブリードを抑制することができ、しかも弾性回復性を高めて樹脂成形体表面の耐擦傷性及び耐摩耗性を向上させることができる。
Claims (1)
- 下記に示す成分(A)、成分(B)及び成分(C)を含有することを特徴とする樹脂成形体の表面物性改良剤組成物。
(A)エチレン・α-オレフィン共重合ゴム又はエチレン・α-オレフィン・非共役ジエン共重合ゴム。
(B)エチレンと少なくとも1種のビニル単量体との共重合体で成分(A)以外の共重合体。
(C)高級脂肪酸アミド。
