Description
熱構造複合材料は、良好な機械的特性および高温においてその特性を維持する能力で知られている。それらは、炭素マトリックスにより緻密化された炭素繊維強化材料から形成される炭素/炭素(C/C)複合材料および少なくとも部分的にセラミックマトリックスにより緻密化された耐火(炭素またはセラミック)繊維で作られた強化材料から形成されるセラミックマトリックス複合材料(CMC)を含む。CMCの例は、C/SiC複合材料(炭素繊維強化材料および炭化ケイ素マトリックス)、C/C−SiC複合材料(炭素繊維強化材料ならびに一般的に繊維に可能な限り近接した炭素相および炭化ケイ素相を含むマトリックス)およびSiC/SiC複合材料(炭化ケイ素強化繊維および炭化ケイ素マトリックス)である。強化繊維とマトリックスとの間に界面層を介在させて材料の機械的一体性を改善してもよい。
本発明の目的は、前述の欠点を改善し、硬質かつ軽量である薄肉の複雑な形態を製造することを可能にする熱構造複合材料構造体を製造することにある。
a)多孔性耐火部品のプリフォームを加工する工程(プリフォームは80%以上の細孔体積含有量を有する)と、
b)プリフォームのすべての接触可能な表面に、セラミック前駆体ポリマーおよび耐火固体フィラーを含む液体組成物を塗布し、前駆体ポリマーをセラミックへ変換してプリフォーム表面での気孔率を減少させる工程と、
c)化学気相浸透によりセラミック被覆を形成してプリフォームの外表面全体にわたってセラミック殻を形成する工程と
を含む方法を提供する。
想定される用途に応じて、本発明の構造体で得られる部品の形状と寸法は変わりうる。単純化のために、以下に記載した実施形態は、本発明の可能な用途の単なる例である。当業者は、困難なしに、本発明により得られる部品の構造的な特徴を有利に使用できる他の実施形態を思いつくであろう。
PCS(SiC前駆体):1から3重量部、
キシレン(PCSの溶媒):2から5重量部。
Claims (15)
- 炭素または炭化ケイ素のマトリックスによって固められた耐火繊維強化材料からなるか、または炭素または炭化ケイ素の発泡体からなる耐火物で作られた多孔性コア(5)から形成された組成勾配を有する耐熱構造複合材料構造体であって、前記多孔性コアは80%以上の気孔率を有し、前記コアは前記多孔性コアの一部、セラミック相およびセラミック粉末を含む2つの中間層(6a、6b)の間にあり、前記中間層は前記多孔性コアにつなぎとめられ、セラミックで作られた2つの外殻(7a、7b)が前記中間層を被覆し、前記セラミック殻は前記中間層につなぎとめられ、前記中間層は各々、前記多孔性コア(5)と前記外部のセラミック殻(7a、7b)との間のバリアを形成し、一方で前記中間層と前記多孔性コア、他方で前記セラミック殻と前記中間層が部分的に相互侵入し、前記中間層を前記多孔性コアにつなぎとめ、前記セラミック殻を前記中間層につなぎとめ、構造体の積層方向に組成勾配を示す耐熱構造複合材料構造体。
- 前記強化材料は炭素マトリックスによって、いっしょに結合されたレーヨン由来タイプの炭素繊維を含む請求項1記載の構造体。
- 1g/cm3未満の質量密度に対応する、1未満のかさ密度を有する請求項1または2記載の構造体。
- 多数のキャビティ(2)を含み、前記キャビティ(2)の壁が補強材(3)を形成する請求項1ないし3のいずれか1項記載の構造体。
- 前記補強材は1mmまでの範囲の壁厚さを有する請求項4記載の構造体。
- 前記補強材(3)は穴あけされた部分(8)を有する請求項4または5記載の構造体。
- 前記補強材と一体的に形成された少なくとも1つの光学ミラーを含む請求項4または5記載の構造体。
- 前記セラミック殻は炭化ケイ素で構成される請求項1ないし7のいずれか1項記載の構造体。
- 組成勾配を有する積層された耐熱構造複合材料構造体を製造するための方法であって、以下の工程、
a)80%以上の気孔率を有する、炭素または炭化ケイ素のマトリックスによって固められた耐火繊維強化材料からなるか、または炭素または炭化ケイ素の発泡体からなる多孔性コアを加工する工程と、
b)前記多孔性コアのすべての接触可能な表面に、セラミック前駆体ポリマーおよびセラミック粉末を含む液体組成物を塗布し、前記ポリマーを架橋し、架橋ポリマーを熱処理によりセラミックへ変換し、かつ前記液体組成物を前記多孔性コアに部分的に浸透させ、前記多孔性コアの一部、セラミック相およびセラミック粉末を含む中間層を形成すると共に前記多孔性コア表面での気孔率を減少させる工程と、
c)前記中間層上に化学気相浸透により堆積されるセラミック被覆を形成して前記多孔性コアの外表面全体にわたってセラミック殻を形成し、一方で前記中間層と前記多孔性コア、他方で前記セラミック殻と前記中間層を、部分的に相互侵入させ、前記中間層を前記多孔性コアにつなぎとめ、前記セラミック殻を前記中間層につなぎとめる工程と
を含む方法。 - 前記多孔性コアは炭素マトリックスによって固められたレーヨン由来タイプの炭素繊維の強化材料から形成される請求項9記載の方法。
- 前記多孔性コアを加工する工程a)は、複合材料で作られた部品の中にキャビティを穴あけし、補強材を形成することを含む請求項9または10記載の方法。
- 前記多孔性コアを加工する工程は、さらに、実質的に平坦な表面(4)を形成し、前記表面を化学気相浸透工程の後に研磨して光学ミラーを形成することを含む請求項11記載の方法。
- 前記液体組成物は、前記セラミック前駆体ポリマーの溶媒を含む請求項9ないし12のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記化学気相浸透は、一定温度で実施される請求項9ないし13のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記化学気相浸透により形成される被覆が炭化ケイ素からなる請求項9ないし14のいずれか1項記載の方法。
