Description
本発明の帯電防止性ポリマーフィルムにおいて、基材ポリマーフィルムとしては、軽量、実質的に透明、安価、使い捨ておよびリサイクル可能、ならびに帯電防止性として種々の応用が可能な観点から、ポリマーフィルムを使用する。さらに、塗布ポリマーフィルムは熱接着により種々の基材に積層(接着)可能である。
本発明の及び界面活性剤から成る。帯電防止塗布層はポリチオフェン及び界面活性剤を含有する水性塗布液を塗布して形成させる。
本発明の帯電防止塗布層および帯電防止方法は、上記のポリマーフィルムから成る基材フィルムだけでなく、他の基材に対しても使用することができる。他の基材としては、金属、ガラス、ポリマー性製造物が挙げられる。さらに、本発明の帯電防止塗布層を有するポリマーフィルムを他の基材表面に適応してもよく、その表面に帯電防止効果を付与することができる。フィルムは熱接着または機械的な締付けによって他の基材表面に接着することができる。
帯電防止塗布層を形成するための塗布方法としては、フィルム製造プロセス中で且つ熱固定前に塗布を行うインラインコーティング法が好ましい。代表的には、基材ポリマーフィルムにコロナ処理を施した後で且つフィルムの延伸工程前に塗布する方法、(英国特許第1,411,564号公報に記載)、2軸延伸する場合の延伸工程中に行う方法(米国特許第4,571,363号公報に記載)または延伸後に行う方法(米国特許第3,322,553号公報に記載)が挙げられる。
50%湿度、73°Fにおいて、フィルムの表面固有抵抗をASTM D257に従って測定した。電圧は約10Vまたは5V(標準電圧500Vに対する)で行った。
グラフィックアート用印刷プレートを台座として使用し、テープ剥取テストを行った。1インチ幅の3M社製Scotch 616(登録商標)粘着テープをフィルムの塗布層面に貼付けた後、フィルムと粘着テープとの角度が約90°と成る方向へ、12インチ/分の速さで粘着テープを剥がす。テープが塗布層と共に剥がれる際の剥取力が好ましくは454g/インチ以上、より好ましくは800〜1100g/インチであれば塗布層と基材フィルムとの間の接着性が良好である。
ASTM Method D1003に従い測定した。

二軸延伸ポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルムを基材フィルムとし、表1に示す塗布液組成を有する水性塗布液をインライン法により塗布・乾燥して形成された塗布層を有する帯電防止性ポリマーフィルムを製造した。インライン法による塗布は、長手方向延伸と横方向延伸の間に行った。結果を表2に示す。長手方向と横方向の延伸比はそれぞれ3.5であった。
溶融押出しによって得られたポリエチレンテレフタレートシートを長手方向に延伸した後、表3に示す塗布液組成を有する水性塗布液をインライン法により塗布し、次いで、横方向延伸、熱固定を行い、塗布層を有する二軸延伸ポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルムを製造した。長手方向と横方向の延伸比はそれぞれ3.5であった。結果を表4に示す。実施例16〜19において、界面活性剤の量をさらに増加させた。
溶融押出しによって得られたポリエチレンテレフタレートシートを長手方向に延伸した後、表5に示す塗布液組成を有する水性塗布液をインライン法により塗布し、次いで、横方向延伸、熱固定を行い、塗布層を有する二軸延伸ポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルムを製造した。長手方向と横方向の延伸比はそれぞれ3.5であった。結果を表6に示す。実施例20〜33は界面活性剤の量をさらに増加させた場合の接着性を最良とした場合の例である。
溶融押出しによって得られたポリエチレンテレフタレートシートを長手方向に延伸した後、表7に示す塗布液組成を有する水性塗布液をインライン法により塗布し、次いで、横方向延伸、熱固定を行い、塗布層を有する二軸延伸ポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルムを製造した。長手方向と横方向の延伸比はそれぞれ3.5であった。結果を表8に示す。実施例34〜39はポリスチレンスルホン酸を使用しているが、表面固有抵抗にはほとんど影響を及ぼさなかった。また、実施例41と42を比較すると、界面活性剤を多量に使用した場合、ある程度の含有量を超えると表面固有抵抗がそれ以上改良されない(低くならない)ことがわかった。
溶融押出しによって得られたポリエチレンテレフタレートシートを長手方向に延伸した後、表9に示す塗布液組成を有する水性塗布液をインライン法により塗布し、次いで、横方向延伸、熱固定を行い、塗布層を有する二軸延伸ポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルムを製造した。長手方向と横方向の延伸比はそれぞれ3.5であった。結果を表10に示す。実施例43〜47では、湿度20%と50%で表面固有抵抗値を測定した。しかしながら、湿度を変化させても表面固有抵抗値にほとんど差がなかった。実施例46及び47では、界面活性剤を変更し、優れた表面固有抵抗値が得られた。
Claims (30)
- 基材ポリマーフィルムと帯電防止塗布層から成る帯電防止性ポリマーフィルムであって、帯電防止塗布層はポリチオフェン及び界面活性剤を含有する水性塗布液を塗布して形成され、ポリチオフェンに対する界面活性剤の重量比が1〜10.67であり、上記水性塗布液のポリマーバインダーの含有量は1重量%未満であり、有機溶媒の含有量が10重量%未満であることを特徴とする帯電防止性ポリマーフィルム。
- 塗布層が実質的に透明である請求項1に記載の帯電防止性ポリマーフィルム。
- ポリチオフェンが3,4−ポリエチレンジオキシチオフェンである請求項1又は2に記載の帯電防止性ポリマーフィルム。
- PST Tape Peel測定(PSTテープ引裂き測定)による引裂き力が800〜1100g/インチである請求項1〜3の何れかに記載の帯電防止性ポリマーフィルム。
- 界面活性剤がフッ素系界面活性剤である請求項1〜4の何れかに記載の帯電防止性ポリマーフィルム。
- フッ素系界面活性剤が炭素鎖4〜8のフッ化脂肪族オキシエチレンである請求項5に記載の帯電防止性ポリマーフィルム。
- 基材ポリマーフィルムがポリエステルから成る請求項1〜6の何れかに記載の帯電防止性ポリマーフィルム。
- 水性塗布液中のポリチオフェンの含有量が0.08〜0.5重量%である請求項1〜7の何れかに記載の帯電防止性ポリマーフィルム。
- 水性塗布液中のポリチオフェンの含有量が0.2〜0.4重量%である請求項1〜7の何れかに記載の帯電防止性ポリマーフィルム。
- 水性塗布液中の界面活性剤の含有量が0.1〜3.2重量%である請求項1〜9の何れかに記載の帯電防止性ポリマーフィルム。
- 水性塗布液中の界面活性剤の含有量が1〜2重量%である請求項1〜9の何れかに記載の帯電防止性ポリマーフィルム。
- 界面活性剤がアニオン系界面活性剤である請求項1〜11の何れかに記載の帯電防止性ポリマーフィルム。
- 界面活性剤がノニオン系界面活性剤である請求項1〜11の何れかに記載の帯電防止性ポリマーフィルム。
- ノニオン系界面活性剤がオクトキシノール−40である請求項13に記載の帯電防止性ポリマーフィルム。
- アニオン系界面活性剤がラウリル硫酸ナトリウムである請求項12に記載の帯電防止性ポリマーフィルム。
- アニオン系界面活性剤がスルホ琥珀酸塩である請求項12に記載の帯電防止性ポリマーフィルム。
- 水性塗布液が更に滑剤を含有する請求項1〜16の何れかに記載の帯電防止性ポリマーフィルム。
- 滑剤がシリカを含有している請求項17に記載の帯電防止性ポリマーフィルム。
- シリカがコロイダルシリカである請求項18に記載の帯電防止性ポリマーフィルム。
- 水性塗布液中の滑剤の含有量が0.05〜2重量%である請求項17〜19の何れかに記載の帯電防止性ポリマーフィルム。
- 水性塗布液の固形物含有量が0.5〜4重量%である請求項1〜20の何れかに記載の帯電防止性ポリマーフィルム。
- 帯電防止性塗布層の乾燥厚みが0.001〜0.1μmである請求項1〜21の何れかに記載の帯電防止性ポリマーフィルム。
- 帯電防止性塗布層の乾燥厚みが0.005〜0.05μmである請求項1〜21の何れかに記載の帯電防止性ポリマーフィルム。
- 帯電防止性塗布層上の表面固有抵抗が1×1011Ω/□以下である請求項1〜23の何れかに記載の帯電防止性ポリマーフィルム。
- 水性塗布液が更にポリスチレンスルホン酸を含有する請求項1〜24の何れかに記載の帯電防止性ポリマーフィルム。
- 水性塗布液中のポリスチレンスルホン酸の含有量が0.1〜2重量%である請求項25に記載の帯電防止性ポリマーフィルム。
- 基材表面の帯電性を制御する方法であって、当該方法はポリチオフェン及び界面活性剤を含有する水性塗布液を基材表面に塗布することから成り、上記水性塗布液のポリマーバインダーの含有量は1重量%未満であり、有機溶媒の含有量が10重量%未満であり、ポリチオフェンに対する界面活性剤の重量比が1〜10.67であることを特徴とする基材表面の帯電性を制御する方法。
- 基材がポリマーフィルムである請求項27に記載の方法。
- 塗布がインラインコーティングによって行われる請求項27又は28に記載の方法。
- 水性塗布液が実質的に酸性である請求項27〜29の何れかに記載の方法。
