Description
本発明の両面接着テープの支持体としては、不織布が用いられる。本発明における不織布はマニラ麻のみからなる。なお、マニラ麻のみからなる不織布とは、不織布を構成する繊維原料としてマニラ麻繊維のみが使用されていることをいう。不織布の繊維原料として、マニラ麻のみを用いる場合には、長繊維同士なので絡み合いや繊維同士の接点が比較的少なく、繊維全体で応力分散するため収縮ジワが生じにくいと推定される。一方、マニラ麻のような長繊維の中に木材パルプのような短繊維を混抄すると、短繊維の部分において繊維同士の絡み合いや接点部分が多く、応力が集中しやすいため収縮ジワが生じやすくなると推定される。
本発明の両面接着テープの粘着剤層を構成する粘着剤としては、粘着テープ等において公知慣用の粘着剤を使用でき、例えば、ゴム系粘着剤、アクリル系粘着剤、シリコーン系粘着剤などの粘着剤を用いることが可能である。
本発明の両面接着テープの引張強度は、流れ(MD)方向、幅(TD)方向ともに7〜20(N/10mm)が好ましく、より好ましくは10〜20(N/10mm)である。上記引張強度は主に不織布の引張強度を制御することにより調整できる。
以下に、本願で用いられる測定方法および効果の評価方法について例示する。
(1)引張強度
MD方向の引張強度測定を例として説明する。
両面接着テープ(又は不織布)からMD方向に幅10mmの短冊上の試験片を切り出し測定に用いた。引張試験機を用いて、チャック間距離50mm、引張速度100mm/分の条件で引張試験を行い(破断まで)、最大応力をもってMD方向の引張強度とした。
上記と同様にして、引張試験を行い、測定開始から降伏点までの伸び(%)をテープ伸びとした。
なお、引張試験で得られた応力−歪み曲線における、上記降伏点の読み取り方を図1〜図3に示す。引張試験で得られた応力−歪み曲線が通常の降伏点を有する場合(図1)は、測定開始点(歪みの開始点)から降伏点(上降伏点)まで伸びを持ってテープ伸びとする。降伏点が明確に読み取れない場合(図2、図3)には、応力−歪み曲線の傾きが急激に低下する最初の点を降伏点として図のようにテープ伸びを算出する。
実施例、比較例で得られた両面接着テープのテープ伸び(MD、TD方向)を上記(2)に従い測定し、MD、TD方向共にテープ伸びが15%未満である場合は加工性良好(○)、MD、TDの少なくとも一方のテープ伸びが15%以上である場合には加工性不良(×)と判断した。
実施例、比較例で得られた両面接着テープ(ロール状に巻き取られている)を、50℃の雰囲気下、25日間保管を行った(アレニウス則にて20℃×2年に相当する)。
テープ巻き取り直後と25日間保管後の、テープ表面の収縮ジワを目視により観察し、以下の基準で判定した。
◎(優れている):全く収縮ジワが確認されない。
○(良好) :収縮ジワが50mm(幅)×100mm(長さ)の範囲に5本未満。
×(劣る) :収縮ジワが50mm(幅)×100mm(長さ)の範囲に5本以上。
マニラ麻100%を傾斜短網抄紙機で抄紙し、2.0%カルボキシメチルセルロース(CMC)水溶液をサイズプレス方式で塗布して不織布を得た。得られた不織布は、坪量15g/m2、密度0.21g/m3、グレーン比89%であった。
一方、アクリル酸5重量部、アクリル酸ブチル95重量部および重合溶媒としてトルエン200重量部を三つ口フラスコに投入し、窒素ガスを導入しながら2時間攪拌した。この様にして重合系内の酸素を除去した後、過酸化ベンゾイル0.1重量部を加え、65℃に昇温して3時間、80℃で2時間重合反応を行った。得られたアクリル系ポリマーの重量平均分子量は55万であった。このポリマー固形分100重量部に対し、イソシアネート系架橋剤(日本ポリウレタン工業(株)製、商品名「コロネートL」)を2重量部配合し、十分に攪拌してアクリル系粘着剤を調製した。
上記粘着剤を不織布の一方の表面に直接塗布し、100℃で2分間乾燥した後、この表面に紙セパレータ(上質紙の両面にポリエチレンラミネート及び剥離処理を施したセパレータ、厚さ0.13mm)を貼り合わせた。その後、もう一方の表面にも同様に粘着剤を塗布、乾燥し、両面の粘着剤層の厚さが等しい(60μm)両面接着テープ(テープ厚さ:0.14mm)を得た。得られた両面接着テープを、直径6インチのコアに巻き取った。さらに巻き替え切断を行い、50mm幅の両面接着テープ(ロール状、長さ50m)を得た。
支持体として、表1で示すように、坪量、密度等を変更した不織布(抄紙工程でニップして抄紙した)を使用し、実施例1と同様にして、50mm幅の両面接着テープ(ロール状)を得た。
表1で示すように、支持体として実施例1同様の不織布を使用し、粘着剤層の形成を両面同時塗布による方法に変更し、実施例1と同様にして、50mm幅の両面接着テープ(ロール状)を得た。
表1で示すように、支持体として実施例1同様の不織布を使用した。紙セパレータ(上質紙の両面にポリエチレンラミネート及び剥離処理を施したセパレータ、厚さ0.13mm)に粘着剤(実施例1と同一)を塗布し、乾燥させて得た粘着剤層を不織布にラミネートした。次いで、不織布のもう一方の表面に、実施例1と同様にして、粘着剤を直接塗布、乾燥させて粘着剤層を形成し、50mm幅の両面接着テープ(ロール状)を得た。
表1に示すとおり、不織布の原料をマニラ麻70%と木材パルプ30%に変更し、坪量、密度等を変更した不織布を使用した。実施例5と同様に両面同時塗布による方法で粘着剤層を形成し、実施例1と同様にして、50mm幅の両面接着テープ(ロール状)を得た。
表1に示すとおり、含浸剤をビスコースに変更し、坪量、密度等を変更した不織布を使用した。実施例5と同様に両面同時塗布による方法で粘着剤層を形成し、実施例1と同様にして、50mm幅の両面接着テープ(ロール状)を得た。

Claims (4)
- 不織布を支持体とし、その支持体の両側に粘着剤層を有する両面接着テープであって、不織布がマニラ麻のみからなり、カルボキシメチルセルロースを含浸させていることを特徴とする両面接着テープ。
- 少なくとも一方の粘着剤層が、支持体に直接塗布されてなる請求項1に記載の両面接着テープ。
- 両側の粘着剤層が、順次又は同時に支持体に直接塗布されてなる請求項1または2に記載の両面接着テープ。
- 流れ方向及び幅方向のテープ引張強度が何れも7〜20(N/10mm)であり、テープ伸び(引張試験における応力−歪み曲線の降伏点における伸び)が15%未満である請求項1〜3のいずれかの項に記載の両面接着テープ。
