Claims (5)
- ライダーのスロットル操作により開閉されるメインスロットルバルブと、該メインスロットルバルブの開度に応じて開閉制御されるサブスロットルバルブとを備えた自動二輪車用運転モード切り替え装置であって、
それぞれが異なるサブスロットルバルブ開度特性を有する複数のサブスロットルバルブ開度マップと、該各サブスロットルバルブ開度マップに対応してそれぞれ異なる燃料噴射量特性及び点火時期特性を有する燃料噴射量マップ及びそれと同数の点火時期マップとを格納するマップ格納手段と、
該マップ格納手段に格納された複数のサブスロットルバルブ開度マップの中からライダーの操作により該ライダーの意図する運転モードに対応したサブスロットルバルブ開度マップを選択するマップ選択手段と、
該マップ選択手段により選択されたサブスロットルバルブ開度マップと、該サブスロットルバルブ開度マップに対応する燃料噴射量マップ及び点火時期マップとに基づき、エンジンを制御するエンジン制御手段と、を備え、
前記サブスロットルバルブ開度マップと前記燃料噴射量マップ及び前記点火時期マップは、メインスロットルバルブ開度とエンジン回転数とをパラメータとした三次元マップであり、
前記燃料噴射量マップ及び前記点火時期マップは、前記サブスロットルバルブ開度マップの切り替えに伴って切り替えられることを特徴とする自動二輪車用運転モード切り替え装置。 - 前記サブスロットルバルブ開度マップは、前記メインスロットルバルブの開度全域において前記サブスロットルを最大開度まで開放可能な領域を有する高出力モードと、前記メインスロットルバルブの全開時でも前記サブスロットルバルブを低開度に制限する低出力モードと、前記高出力モードと前記低出力モードとの中間の出力特性を有する中間モードとにそれぞれ対応したマップを備えている請求項1に記載の自動二輪車用運転モード切り替え装置。
- 前記マップ選択手段を所定時間以上継続して操作し続けることにより、前記マップ選択手段によるサブスロットルバルブ開度マップの選択操作が可能な運転モード選択可能状態になる請求項1又は2に記載の自動二輪車用運転モード切り替え装置。
- 前記運転モード選択可能状態であって、前記メインスロットルバルブの開度が所定値未満である場合にのみ、前記マップ選択手段によるサブスロットルバルブ開度マップの選択操作を有効にする請求項3に記載の自動二輪車用運転モード切り替え装置。
- 前記運転モード選択可能状態はイグニッションスイッチがオフ操作されるまで継続される請求項3又は4に記載の自動二輪車用運転モード切り替え装置。
