Description
本出願は、2002年10月3日に出願された合衆国仮出願第60/415,716号の利益を請求する。
本発明は、フィルムレス歯科X線写真撮影システムに関し、特に、患者の口腔内から取り出すことなく、口腔内全域を撮影した一連の画像を収集し、表示することができる口腔内放射線センサを含むフィルムレス歯科X線写真撮影システムに関する。
Claims (21)
- 入射放射線が存在するときに画像を捕捉する放射線感知センサアレイと、
電流感知素子を含み、前記センサアレイにより取り出される電流の量に基づいて、前記センサアレイに入射する放射線の存在を示すトリガ信号を発生するように構成されたイベント検知回路と、
前記センサアレイにより捕捉された画像を表現する信号を無線リンクを介して送信するための送信器と
を具備することを特徴とする口腔内センサ。 - 前記センサアレイは相補形金属酸化物半導体アクティブ画素センサアレイを具備することを特徴とする請求項1記載の口腔内センサ。
- 前記センサアレイは電荷結合素子を具備することを特徴とする請求項1記載の口腔内センサ。
- 前記電源はバッテリを具備することを特徴とする請求項1記載の口腔内センサ。
- 前記バッテリは再充電可能であることを特徴とする請求項4記載の口腔内センサ。
- 前記送信器は無線周波送信器であり、前記無線リンクは無線周波リンクであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の口腔内センサ。
- 入射放射線が存在するときに画像を捕捉する手段と、
前記捕捉手段により取り出される電流の量に基づいて前記捕捉手段に入射する放射線の存在を示すトリガ信号を発生する手段と、
前記捕捉手段により捕捉された画像を表現する信号を無線リンクを介して送信する手段と
を具備することを特徴とする口腔内センサ。 - 複数の放射線感知画素を具備する放射線感知センサに放射線が入射したことを判定する方法であって、
前記複数の放射線感知画素により取り出される電流の量を監視するステップと、
前記複数の放射線感知画素により取り出される前記電流の量が所定の量を超えたとき、入射放射線の存在を示す信号を発生するステップと
を有することを特徴とする方法。 - 前記複数の放射線感知画素により取り出される前記電流の量は抵抗器を使用して測定されることを特徴とする請求項8記載の方法。
- 入射放射線の存在を示す前記信号は比較器により発生され、
前記比較器は、前記複数の放射線感知画素により取り出される前記電流の量に比例する電圧を一定の基準電圧と比較することを特徴とする請求項8記載の方法。 - 前記比較器は、前記複数の放射線感知画素により取り出される前記電流の量に比例する電圧が前記一定の基準電圧を超えたときに、入射放射線の存在を示す信号を発生することを特徴とする請求項10記載の方法。
- 前記センサは、患者の口腔内でX線画像を捕捉するための口腔内センサであることを特徴とする請求項8記載の方法。
- 前記複数の放射線感知画素はCMOSアクティブ画素センサアレイを具備することを特徴とする請求項8記載の方法。
- 複数の放射線感知画素と、
前記複数の画素により取り出される電流の量に基づいて、前記複数の画素に放射線が入射したことを判定するイベント検知回路と
を具備することを特徴とする放射線感知センサ。 - 前記イベント検知回路は、
前記複数の画素により取り出される電流の量を感知する抵抗器と、
基準電圧を発生する分圧器と、
前記抵抗器の電圧が前記基準電圧を超えたとき、トリガ信号を発生する比較器と
を含むことを特徴とする請求項14記載のセンサ。 - 前記センサは、患者の口腔内でX線画像を捕捉するための口腔内センサであることを特徴とする請求項14記載のセンサ。
- 前記複数の放射線感知画素はCMOSアクティブ画素センサアレイを具備することを特徴とする請求項14記載のセンサ。
- 放射線感知センサに入射する放射線の強さに対応する電荷量を発生する発生手段と、
前記発生手段により取り出される電流の量に基づいて、前記発生手段に放射線が入射したことを判定する判定手段と
を具備する放射線感知センサであって、
前記判定手段は、
基準電圧を発生する手段と、
前記電荷発生手段により取り出される電流の量に比例する電圧を発生する手段と
を含むことを特徴とする放射線感知センサ。 - 放射線感知センサに入射する放射線の強さに対応する電荷量を発生する発生手段と、
前記発生手段により取り出される電流の量に基づいて、前記発生手段に放射線が入射したことを判定する判定手段と
を具備する放射線感知センサであって、
前記判定手段は、前記電荷発生手段により取り出される電流の量に比例する前記電圧が前記基準電圧を超えたとき、前記電荷発生手段に放射線が入射したことを判定する手段を含むことを特徴とする放射線感知センサ。 - 放射線感知センサに入射する放射線の強さに対応する電荷量を発生する発生手段と、
前記発生手段により取り出される電流の量に基づいて、前記発生手段に放射線が入射したことを判定する判定手段と
を具備する放射線感知センサであって、
前記放射線感知センサは、患者の口腔内でX線画像を捕捉するための口腔内センサであることを特徴とする放射線感知センサ。 - 放射線感知センサに入射する放射線の強さに対応する電荷量を発生する発生手段と、
前記発生手段により取り出される電流の量に基づいて、前記発生手段に放射線が入射したことを判定する判定手段と
を具備する放射線感知センサであって、
前記電荷発生手段はCMOSアクティブ画素センサアレイを具備することを特徴とする放射線感知センサ。
