Description
絶縁基板の上部の青色画素領域、赤色画素領域及び緑色画素領域のうち、前記青色画素領域にのみ、有機絶縁物質からなる遮光膜と、
前記絶縁基板の上部に形成されている共通電極と、
前記遮光膜と重なって配置され、有機絶縁物質からなる基板間隔材とを含む、第1表示板と、
前記表示板と対向し、走査信号を伝達するゲート線、画像信号を伝達するデータ線、共通信号が印加される維持電極線、及び前記ゲート線と前記データ線とが交差して定義する画素領域に配置されている画素電極を含む薄膜トランジスタ表示板と、
前記第1表示板と前記薄膜トランジスタ表示板との間に形成されている液晶物質層とを含み、
前記遮光膜の境界は、前記ゲート線、前記データ線、及び前記維持電極線をはじめとする前記薄膜トランジスタ表示板上に形成されている不透明パターンと重なる位置に配置されている、液晶表示装置を提供する。
絶縁基板及びその上に形成されている薄膜トランジスタアレイを含む薄膜トランジスタ表示板と、
内側面が前記薄膜トランジスタ表示板の内側面と対向し、絶縁基板及びその上に形成されている共通電極を含む共通電極表示板と、
前記薄膜トランジスタ表示板と共通電極表示板との間に充填されている液晶と、
前記共通電極表示板の外側面に配置されている第1偏光板とを含み、前記第1偏光板は、紫外線吸収物質を含む、液晶表示装置を提供する。
ここで、前記第1偏光板は、その表面が前記紫外線吸収物質でコーティングされている。

Claims (3)
- 絶縁基板の上部の青色画素領域、赤色画素領域及び緑色画素領域のうち、前記青色画素領域にのみ、有機絶縁物質からなる遮光膜と、
前記絶縁基板の上部に形成されている共通電極と、
前記遮光膜と重なって配置され、有機絶縁物質からなる基板間隔材とを含む、第1表示板と、
前記表示板と対向し、走査信号を伝達するゲート線、画像信号を伝達するデータ線、共通信号が印加される維持電極線、及び前記ゲート線と前記データ線とが交差して定義する画素領域に配置されている画素電極を含む薄膜トランジスタ表示板と、
前記第1表示板と前記薄膜トランジスタ表示板との間に形成されている液晶物質層とを含み、
前記遮光膜の境界は、前記ゲート線、前記データ線、及び前記維持電極線をはじめとする前記薄膜トランジスタ表示板上に形成されている不透明パターンと重なる位置に配置されている、液晶表示装置。 - 前記第1表示板は、前記基板間隔材と同一な層に形成され、液晶分子の配向方向を制御するための突起をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記遮光膜の端部は、前記絶縁基板表面に対して傾斜を有している、請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
