Abstract
【課題】 本発明が目的とする技術的課題は、液晶表示装置で光漏れ現象を防止することにある。また、液晶表示装置の視野角を拡大することにある。
【解決手段】 絶縁基板の上部の青色画素領域に、有機絶縁物質からなり、緩やかな傾斜面を有する遮光膜、絶縁基板の上部に全面的に形成されている共通電極、遮光膜と重なって配置され、有機絶縁物質からなり、傾斜面を有する基板間隔材を含む表示装置用表示板を提供する。このようにすれば、遮光膜の緩やかな傾斜面に位置する液晶が垂直にならない現象を最少化し、光漏れ現象を防止することができる。

Claims (8)
- 絶縁基板の上部の青色画素領域に、有機絶縁物質からなり、前記絶縁基板表面に対して30°以下の傾斜面を有する遮光膜と、
前記絶縁基板の上部に形成されている共通電極と、
前記遮光膜と重なって配置され、有機絶縁物質からなる基板間隔材とを含む、表示板。 - 前記基板間隔材と同一な層に形成され、液晶分子の配向方向を制御するための突起をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の表示板。
- 請求項1の表示板と、
前記請求項1の表示板と対向し、走査信号を伝達するゲート線、画像信号を伝達するデータ線、共通信号が印加される維持電極線、及び前記ゲート線と前記データ線とが交差して定義する画素領域に配置されている画素電極を含む薄膜トランジスタ表示板と、
前記請求項1の表示板と前記薄膜トランジスタ表示板との間に形成されている液晶物質層とを含む、液晶表示装置。 - 第1絶縁基板と、
前記第1絶縁基板上に形成されているゲート線と、
前記第1絶縁基板上に形成され、前記ゲート線と絶縁されて交差するデータ線と、
前記第1絶縁基板上に形成され、前記データ線と絶縁されて交差する維持電極線と、
前記ゲート線と前記データ線との交差部に形成されている薄膜トランジスタと、
前記薄膜トランジスタと連結されている画素電極と、
前記第1絶縁基板と対向する第2基板と、
前記第2絶縁基板上に形成されている共通電極と、
前記第2基板に形成されている遮光膜とを含み、前記遮光膜の境界は、前記ゲート線、前記データ線、及び前記維持電極線をはじめとする前記第1基板上に形成されている不透明パターンと重なる位置に配置されている、液晶表示装置。 - 前記第1基板上に形成されている赤、緑、及び青の色フィルターをさらに含み、前記遮光膜は、前記青の色フィルターと対応する位置に配置されている、請求項4に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 絶縁基板及びその上に形成されている薄膜トランジスタアレイを含む薄膜トランジスタ表示板と、
内側面が前記薄膜トランジスタ表示板の内側面と対向し、絶縁基板及びその上に形成されている共通電極を含む共通電極表示板と、
前記薄膜トランジスタ表示板と共通電極表示板との間に充填されている液晶と、
前記共通電極表示板の外側面に配置されている第1偏光板とを含み、前記第1偏光板は、紫外線吸収物質を含む、液晶表示装置。 - 前記薄膜トランジスタ表示板の外側面に配置されているバックライトユニットと、前記薄膜トランジスタ表示板と前記バックライトユニットとの間に配置されている第2偏光板とをさらに含む、請求項6に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第1偏光板は、その表面が前記紫外線吸収物質でコーティングされている、請求項6に記載の液晶表示装置。
