Description
FTワックス(炭素数:21〜82、ノルマルパラフィン含有量:96質量%)を原料として準備した。また、USYゼオライト、アルミナボリア(アルミナ/ボリアのモル比:5.7)及びアルミナバインダーを質量比5:55:40で混合し、φ1.6mm、長さ2〜3mmの円柱状に成型した後、500℃で1時間焼成して触媒担体を得た。なお、上記USYゼオライトとしては、該USYゼオライト中のシリカとアルミナのモル比が40であり、平均粒子径が0.9μmであるものを用いた。得られた触媒担体に、ジクロロテトラアンミン白金(II)水溶液を含浸し、120℃で3時間乾燥した後、500℃で1時間焼成することで、触媒全量を基準として0.6質量%の白金が担体に担持されてなる第1の触媒を得た。更に、シリカアルミナ(アルミナ含有量:14モル%)とアルミナバインダーとを質量比80:20で混合し、φ1.6mm、長さ2〜3mmの円柱状に成型した後、500℃で1時間焼成して触媒担体を得た。得られた触媒担体に、ジクロロテトラアンミン白金(II)水溶液を含浸し、120℃で3時間乾燥した後、500℃で1時間焼成することで、触媒全量を基準として0.6質量%の白金が担体に担持されてなる第2の触媒を得た。
第1の触媒及び第2の触媒において、0.6質量%の白金を担持する代わりに、ジクロロテトラアンミンパラジウム水溶液及びジクロロテトラアンミン白金(II)水溶液を用いてパラジウム0.02質量%及び白金0.6質量%を担持したこと以外は実施例1と同様にして、原料の水素化処理を行った。このとき、原料に対する沸点360℃以下の留分(分解生成物)が80質量%になる反応温度は279℃であった。また、中間留分の収率、該中間留分中のノルマルパラフィン含有量、及び、未分解ワックス中のノルマルパラフィン含有量を表1に示す。
第1の触媒において、平均粒子径0.9μmのUSYゼオライトの代わりに、平均粒子径0.42μmのUSYゼオライト(シリカとアルミナのモル比:40)を用いたこと以外は実施例1と同様にして、原料の水素化処理を行った。このとき、原料に対する沸点360℃以下の留分(分解生成物)が80質量%になる反応温度は277℃であった。また、中間留分の収率、該中間留分中のノルマルパラフィン含有量、及び、未分解ワックス中のノルマルパラフィン含有量を表1に示す。
第1の触媒において、USYゼオライト、アルミナボリア及びアルミナバインダーの質量比を3:55:42に変更したこと以外は実施例1と同様にして、原料の水素化処理を行った。このとき、原料に対する沸点360℃以下の留分(分解生成物)が80質量%になる反応温度は298℃であった。また、中間留分の収率、該中間留分中のノルマルパラフィン含有量、及び、未分解ワックス中のノルマルパラフィン含有量を表1に示す。
第2の触媒において、シリカアルミナの代わりにシリカジルコニア(ジルコニア含有量:45モル%)を使用したこと以外は実施例1と同様にして、原料の水素化処理を行った。このとき、原料に対する沸点360℃以下の留分(分解生成物)が80質量%になる反応温度は278℃であった。また、中間留分の収率、該中間留分中のノルマルパラフィン含有量、及び、未分解ワックス中のノルマルパラフィン含有量を表1に示す。
第2の触媒を使用せず、固定床反応塔における第1の触媒の充填量を200mlとしたこと以外は実施例1と同様にして、原料の水素化処理を行った。このとき、原料に対する沸点360℃以下の留分(分解生成物)が80質量%になる反応温度は279℃であった。また、中間留分の収率、該中間留分中のノルマルパラフィン含有量、及び、未分解ワックス中のノルマルパラフィン含有量を表1に示す。
第1の触媒を使用せず、固定床反応塔における第2の触媒の充填量を200mlとしたこと以外は実施例1と同様にして、原料の水素化処理を行った。このとき、原料に対する沸点360℃以下の留分(分解生成物)が80質量%になる反応温度は279℃であった。また、中間留分の収率、該中間留分中のノルマルパラフィン含有量、及び、未分解ワックス中のノルマルパラフィン含有量を表1に示す。
液空間速度を4.5h−1に変更したこと以外は実施例1と同様にして、原料の水素化処理を行った。このとき、原料に対する沸点360℃以下の留分(分解生成物)が80質量%になる反応温度は373℃であった。また、中間留分の収率、該中間留分中のノルマルパラフィン含有量、及び、未分解ワックス中のノルマルパラフィン含有量を表1に示す。
液空間速度を0.35h−1に変更したこと以外は実施例1と同様にして、原料の水素化処理を行った。このとき、原料に対する沸点360℃以下の留分(分解生成物)が80質量%になる反応温度は243℃であった。また、中間留分の収率、該中間留分中のノルマルパラフィン含有量、及び、未分解ワックス中のノルマルパラフィン含有量を表1に示す。

- 水素雰囲気下、反応温度270〜360℃、圧力2〜5MPa、液空間速度0.4〜4.0h−1の条件にて、炭素数が20以上のノルマルパラフィンを70質量%以上含むワックスを、超安定Y型ゼオライトとアモルファス固体酸とを含む触媒担体上にパラジウム及び/又は白金を担持してなる第1の触媒と接触させた後、超安定Y型ゼオライトを実質的に含まず固体酸としてはアモルファス固体酸のみを含む触媒担体上にパラジウム及び/又は白金を担持してなる第2の触媒と接触させることにより、前記ワックスの水素化処理を行うことを特徴とするワックスの水素化処理方法。
- 固定床反応塔内の上流側に前記第1の触媒を、下流側に前記第2の触媒をそれぞれ配置し、前記固定床反応塔内で前記ワックスの水素化処理を行うことを特徴とする請求項1記載のワックスの水素化処理方法。
- 前記第1の触媒における前記超安定Y型ゼオライトの平均粒子径が、1.0μm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載のワックスの水素化処理方法。
- 前記第1の触媒中の前記超安定Y型ゼオライトの含有量が、前記第1の触媒全量を基準として4.0質量%以下であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のうちのいずれか一項に記載のワックスの水素化処理方法。
- 前記第1の触媒における前記アモルファス固体酸が、シリカアルミナ、アルミナボリア及びシリカジルコニアからなる群より選択される少なくとも一種を含むものであることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のうちのいずれか一項に記載のワックスの水素化処理方法。
- 前記第1の触媒における前記アモルファス固体酸が、アルミナボリアを含むものであることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のワックスの水素化処理方法。
- 前記第2の触媒における前記アモルファス固体酸が、シリカアルミナ、アルミナボリア及びシリカジルコニアからなる群より選択される少なくとも一種を含むものであることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のうちのいずれか一項に記載のワックスの水素化処理方法。
