Description
原反30には、表面シート5を形成するための親水性のスパンレース不織布などの不織布25が巻かれている。前記不織布25は、成型ロール32と33の間に供給される。前記成型ロール32と33の一方のロールの表面には、ロール軸の方向に凸部と凹部が繰り返され、前記凸部と凹部はロールの円周方向へ沿って平行に延びている。他方のロールの表面には前記凸部に噛み合う凹部、および前記凹部と噛み合う凸部が形成されている。
まず以下の実施例1、実施例2および比較例の吸収シートを製造した。
(表面シート)
レーヨン55質量%、PET繊維30質量%、PP繊維15%の混合体を水に分散させた原料から網状のワイヤーで抄いて湿潤状態の繊維ウエッブを形成し、ウォータジェットで繊維間を交絡させて目付けが38g/m2の湿式スパンレース不織布を製造した。前記不織布に対して成型ロールにより、ピッチP=2mmの畝部と溝部を形成した。カトーテック(株)の自動化圧縮試験機「KES FB−3A」で測定した圧力49Pa印加時の厚みは1mm、圧縮特性値(LC値)は0.83であった。
酸化チタンを1.0質量%含んだPETを芯部とし、PEを鞘部とした芯鞘構造の複合熱可塑性合成繊維(2.2dtex、繊維長44mm)を98質量%と、繊維長20〜30mmのコットン繊維2質量%によって、目付が25g/m2のエアースルー不織布を形成した。このエアースルー不織布を115℃の加熱ロールで加熱して厚みを回復させた。厚み回復後のエアースルー不織布を、カトーテック(株)の自動化圧縮試験機「KES FB−3A」で圧力49Paを印加して測定した厚みは1.8mm、圧縮特性値(LC値)は0.372であった。
坪量22.5g/m2のポリエチレンフィルムを用いた。
(表面シートおよび裏面シート)
実施例1と同じものを用いた。
PPが芯部で、PEが鞘部の偏芯鞘構造の複合熱可塑性合成繊維(4.4dtex、繊維長50mm)により目付けが20g/m2のエアースルー不織布を形成した。このエアースルー不織布を115℃の加熱ロールで加熱して厚みを回復させた。厚み回復後のエアースルー不織布をカトーテック(株)の自動化圧縮試験機「KES FB−3A」で圧力49Paを印加して測定した厚みは3.0mm、圧縮特性値(LC値)は0.312であった。
(表面シートおよび裏面シート)
実施例1と同じものを用いた。
PETが芯部で、PEが鞘部の芯鞘構造の複合熱可塑性合成繊維(2.2dtex、繊維長51mm)を熱風処理して目付けが30g/m2のエアースルー不織布を形成した。加熱ロールによる厚みの回復処理を行わなかった。カトーテック(株)の自動化圧縮試験機「KES FB−3A」で圧力49Paを印加して測定した厚みは0.8mm、圧縮特性(LC値)は0.652であった。
前記実施例1、実施例2および比較例を、25×25mmの大きさに切断し、畝部と溝部の延びる方向に沿ってローラで加圧した。ローラの軸方向の長さは45mm、質量2kg、ローラの転動速度を50mm/minで1回だけ加圧した。
評価「△」…表面が立体的で従来のものよりもやや接触感触がよさそう。
評価「×」…表面に立体感を感じない。
前記圧縮後のものに対して表面シートの無荷重時の厚みを測定した。
またモニターテストでは、実施例1と実施例2は全員が「○」と評価し、比較例は全員が「×」と評価した。

Claims (7)
- 原反から繰り出された不織布をロールを通して搬送する間に、前記不織布の一方の面に熱風を与え、次に他方の面に熱風を与えて加熱処理し嵩を回復させる工程と、嵩を回復させた前記不織布と裏面シートとの間に吸収層を配置して前記不織布でクッション層を形成する工程と、前記不織布の上に表面シートを重ねる工程とを有することを特徴とする吸収性物品の製造方法。
- 前記不織布層は、熱可塑性繊維で形成されたエアースルー不織布である請求項1記載の吸収性物品の製造方法。
- 前記加熱処理により、前記不織布の密度を1/3以下に回復させる請求項1または2記載の吸収性物品の製造方法。
- 前記加熱処理の工程では、前記不織布が加熱室内に供給され、加熱室内において前記不織布の表裏に対向して設けられている加熱装置で前記不織布に熱風が与えられる請求項1ないし3のいずれか1項に記載の吸収性物品の製造方法。
- 前記吸収層を配置する工程の前段に、原反から繰り出された前記吸収層に熱を与えて前記吸収層の嵩を回復させる工程を有する請求項1ないし4のいずれか1項に記載の吸収性物品の製造方法。
- 前記吸収層に熱を与えた後に、前記吸収層を冷却する工程を有する請求項5記載の吸収性物品の製造方法。
- 前記吸収層は、パルプで形成されたエアレイド不織布である請求項5または6記載の吸収性物品の製造方法。
