Description
本出願は、継手アセンブリ、特に高圧用途用に管の端部に形成された雄部材をコネクタ本体内の孔にはめ込み接続するタイプのクイックコネクタに関する。
本発明に従った流体継手アセンブリの一実施形態が、図1〜図11に示されている。クイックコネクタ流体継手アセンブリ210は、雄部材212、中空の雌コネクタ本体214、雄部材212をコネクタ本体214内に固定するための保持器216、シール部材218、及び外側スペーサすなわちシール部材保持器217を備える。
Claims (13)
- 流体継手アセンブリ(210,410)であって、該流体継手アセンブリは、
半径方向内方に延出するリム(240)によって画成される入口開口(232)から軸方向に延在する孔(230)を画成するコネクタ本体(214,414)であって、該コネクタ本体はさらに、該孔内の該リム(240)の軸方向前方で半径方向内方に延出する環状リブ(241)を有し、該本体(214)は、該リム(240)及び該リブ(241)間の保持器受け部分(249)、並びに該リブ(241)の前方の円筒状のシール面(244)を画成する、コネクタ本体(214,414)と、
該コネクタ本体(214,414)に解放可能に固定される保持器(216,416)であって、該保持器は、軸方向に延出する複数のアーム(276)を有し、該アームの各々は後当接面(284)を有し、該後当接面は、該リム(240)に当接する関係にある、保持器と、
該孔(230)内に配置されて、該コネクタ本体(214,414)の該孔(230)内の該円筒状のシール面(244)に接触するシール部材(218,418)であって、該環状リブ(241)の軸方向前方に位置する、シール部材(218,418)と、
該孔(230)内で該シール部材(218,418)と該リブ(241)との間に配置される別体のシール部材保持器(217,417)と、
を備え、
該シール部材保持器(217,417)は、軸方向に延出する複数の脚部(300)を有し、該脚部の各々は、該環状リブ(241)に当接する関係にある後当接面(308)を有することを特徴とする
流体継手アセンブリ。 - 前記シール部材保持器(217,417)は、リング(292,492)をさらに有し、前記脚部(300)は、該リング(292)から軸方向後方且つ半径方向外方に延出する、請求項1の流体継手アセンブリ。
- 前記リング(292,492)は、前当接面(294,494)を有し、前記シール部材(218,418)は、該リング(292,492)の該前当接面(294,494)に当接する関係にある、請求項2の流体継手アセンブリ。
- 前記本体(214)の前記リブ(241)は、半径方向向きの環状シール部材保持面(239)を有し、さらに、該半径方向向きの環状シール部材保持面(239)から前方に延在する円錐面(243)を画成し、該円錐面は、前記円筒状のシール面(244)と合流し、該シール部材保持器(217,417)の前記脚部(300)は、該円錐面(243)に密接して面する関係に配置され、前記後当接面(308)は、該半径方向向きの環状シール部材保持面(239)に当接する関係にある、請求項2の流体継手アセンブリ。
- 前記本体(214,414)の前記円筒状のシール面(244)は、前記シール部材保持器(217,417)の前記リング(292,492)を密接して案内する関係で包囲する、請求項3の流体継手アセンブリ。
- 前記シール部材(418)と前記シール部材保持器(417)との間に挟まれるテフロン(登録商標)製のリング(415)をさらに備える、請求項2の流体継手アセンブリ。
- 前記リング(492)が前当接面(494)を有し、該前当接面(494)は前記シール部材(418)と前記シール部材保持器(417)の該リング(492)の該前当接面(494)との間に挟まれるテフロン(登録商標)製の前記リング(415)に当接する、請求項6の流体継手アセンブリ。
- 前記保持器(216,416)は、リング(256)をさらに有し、前記アーム(276)は、該リング(256)から軸方向前方に延出し、該リング(256)の少なくとも一部は、前記コネクタ本体(214,414)の前記入口開口(232)の外に配置される、請求項1の流体継手アセンブリ。
- 前記リング(256)は、前方向き半径方向面(258)及び小径円筒部分(261)を画成し、前記ロッキングアーム(276)は、スロット(266)によって分離され、且つ該小径円筒部分(261)から軸方向前方に延出する、請求項8の流体継手アセンブリ。
- 前記ロッキングアーム(276)間の前記スロット(266)は、前記小径円筒部分(261)内まで延在する、請求項9の流体継手アセンブリ。
- 前記リング(256)の前記前方向き半径方向面(258)及び前記小径円筒部分(261)と、前記ロッキングアーム(276)の前記後当接面(284)とは、チャネル(265)を画成し、前記コネクタ本体(214)の前記リム(240)は、該チャネル(265)にはまる、請求項10の流体継手アセンブリ。
- 前記孔内に配置される中空管(212,412)をさらに備え、該管は、その自由端から延在する円筒面(224)と、その自由端から間隔を置いた位置の半径方向向きの拡径部分(222,422)とを有し、前記保持器(216,416)の前記複数のアーム(276)の各々は、該拡径部分(222,422)に当接する関係にある前当接面(278)を有する、請求項1,2,3,6,8,9のいずれか1項の流体継手アセンブリ。
- 前記シール部材(218,418)及び前記シール部材保持器(217,417)は、前記自由端及び前記拡径部分(222,422)間で前記管(212,412)の前記円筒面(224)を包囲する関係に配置される、請求項12の流体継手アセンブリ。
