Claims (35)
- 第1のコネクタを用いて携帯用超音波ユニットが接続されるドッキング・カートであって、該携帯用超音波ユニット(PUU)は、超音波トランスデューサの第2のコネクタに結合されるように構成されるトランスデューサ・ポートと、第1の超音波画像データを該トランスデューサ・ポートから受け取るPUU超音波処理回路とを備え、該PUU超音波処理回路は、ユーザ入力を該第1のコネクタを介して該ドッキング・カートから受け取り、該ユーザ入力は、該携帯用超音波ユニットによる該第1の超音波画像データの獲得を制御するためのものであり、該ドッキング・カートは、該受け取られたユーザ入力に応答して、該携帯用超音波ユニットから受信される該第1の超音波画像データを処理することにより、第2の超音波画像データを生成するように構成され、該ドッキング・カートは、
該ドッキング・カートと該接続された携帯用超音波ユニットとの間の通信を支持するデジタル通信回路と、
該デジタル通信回路を通じて該携帯用超音波ユニットから該ドッキング・カートによって受信される該第1の超音波画像データを処理するドッキング・カート超音波処理回路と
を備え、該ドッキング・カート超音波処理回路は、該ドッキング・カート内に一体的に配置され、該携帯用超音波ユニットが、第1の表示フォーマットを支持する携帯用超音波ユニットディスプレイを備え、該ドッキング・カートは、第2の表示フォーマットを支持するドッキング・カート・ディスプレイを備え、該第1の表示フォーマットと該第2の表示フォーマットは異なる、ドッキング・カート。 - 前記デジタル通信回路および前記ドッキング・カート超音波処理回路に電力を供給する内蔵電池を更に備える、請求項1に記載のドッキング・カート。

を行うように構成される、請求項1に記載のドッキング・カート。 - 前記PUU処理回路が、チャネル・データ、RFデータ、検出されたデータ、走査変換されたデータ、および、フォーマット化された画像データからなる群から選択される少なくとも二つの異なるタイプの超音波画像データの形態で前記第1の超音波画像データを生成し、前記ドッキング・カートがディスプレイを更に備え、該ドッキング・カートの前記通信回路および超音波処理回路が、該二つの異なるタイプの超音波画像データのうちの少なくとも一つから形成される超音波画像を該ディスプレイ上に表示するように構成される、請求項1に記載のドッキング・カート。
- ディスプレイを更に備え、前記PUU超音波処理回路によって生成された前記第1の超音波画像データは、処理されていない超音波画像データおよび処理された超音波画像データを含み、該PUU超音波処理回路は、該処理されていない超音波画像データを処理することにより、該処理された超音波画像データを生成し、前記ドッキング・カートの通信回路および該ドッキング・カート超音波処理回路は、該PUU超音波処理回路から受信された該処理されていない超音波画像データおよび該処理された超音波画像データを処理するように構成され、かつ、対応する超音波画像を該ディスプレイ上に表示するように構成される、請求項1に記載のドッキング・カート。

- 前記ドッキング・カート超音波処理回路とネットワークとの間の無線通信を支持する通信ポートを更に備える、請求項1に記載のドッキング・カート。
- 前記接続された携帯用超音波ユニットが過熱することを防止する熱調節器を更に備える、請求項1に記載のドッキング・カート。
- 前記携帯用超音波ユニットが配置されるドッキング・カート・レセプタクルを更に備える、請求項1に記載のドッキング・カート。
- 前記携帯用超音波ユニットが配置されるドッキング・カート・レセプタクルを更に備え、該ドッキング・カート・レセプタクルは、該携帯用超音波ユニットの前記トランスデューサ・ポートを妨害しないように構成される、請求項1に記載のドッキング・カート。
