Description
図8はハッチバック車1のバックドア3を上方に開けて車体5後部の荷室7を開放した状態を示す。この荷室7の車幅方向両側にはトランクサイドトリム9がそれぞれ配置され、該トランクサイドトリム9にそれぞれ形成された受け部11にこの発明の対象である樹脂パネルとしての略矩形のパッケージトレイ13が着脱自在に載置されて上記荷室7を上下に区分するようになっている。
まず、図3に示すように、可動型27を進出させて成形型29を型閉じする。この型閉じの前又は後において、予め支持部材31の係合ピン31aと補強部材24の係合孔部24aとが係合して支持部材31に支持された3本の補強部材24を固定型25の一方の側壁25b側から流体圧シリンダ(図示せず)の伸長作動により貫通孔25cを経てキャビティ35内に進出させる。固定型25の一方の側壁25b側では別の支持部材31が貫通孔25cに挿入されて待機している。
図9は実施形態2に係るパッケージトレイ13の短辺側の側面図を、図10はパッケージトレイ13の製造方法において可動型27を後退させてパッケージトレイ13が成形された状態の製造工程の成形型断面図(図5(a)相当図)である。この実施形態2では、3本の補強部材24の長手方向端面24bは係合孔部24aを除いてスキン層19で覆われているので、つまり、補強部材24の端面24bの一部(係合孔部24aが形成されている部分)のみが側面部15に露出しているのみであるので、側面部15の外観見栄えが高まる。このようなパッケージトレイ13は、補強部材24を固定型25の側壁25b(凹部25a)内面との間に隙間Sができように僅かに短く設定し、これに対応して支持部材31の係合ピン31aを長くすることで成形される。上記隙間Sを形成するには、上記係合ピン31aを先端小径部31bと基端大径部31cとからなる段付き形状とし、係合ピン31aの先端小径部31bを補強部材24の係合孔部24aに係合させた状態で、補強部材24の端面24bを上記基端大径部31c先端面に当接させるようにする。そのほかは実施形態1と同じであるので、パッケージトレイ13の構造及び製造方法については説明を省略する。
図11及び図12は実施形態3に係るパッケージトレイ13を、図13及び図14はその製造工程の成形型断面図をそれぞれ示す。この実施形態3では、3本の内リブ23がパネル厚み方向略中央に位置している点と、対向する平面部17に穴部17a,17bがない点で実施形態1と異なるが、他の基本構成は同じであるので、同じ構成箇所には同じ符号を付して説明を省略する。

Claims (2)
- パネル厚み方向に沿う側面部(15)及び該側面部(15)と略直交する平面部(17)にソリッド層からなるスキン層(19)が形成されているとともに、成形時に成形型(29)のキャビティ容積の拡大により熱可塑性樹脂(R)を膨張させることで上記スキン層(19)で囲まれる内部に多数の空隙を有する膨張層(21)が形成されてなる樹脂パネルであって、
上記膨張層(21)内には、上記平面部(17)に沿って延びかつパネル厚み方向に沿うソリッド層からなる長尺状の内リブ(23)が少なくとも長手方向一端を上記側面部(15)のスキン層(19)に連続させるように形成され、
上記内リブ(23)内には、長手方向一端面の少なくとも一部を上記側面部(15)に露出する長尺状の補強部材(24)がパネルの成形過程でインサートされ、
該補強部材(24)の長手方向一端面の上記露出部には、成形時に補強部材(24)を成形型(29)のキャビティ(35)内に支持する支持部材(31)が当該長手方向に係脱可能に係合される係合部(24a)が形成されていることを特徴とする樹脂パネル。 - 請求項1に記載の樹脂パネルの製造方法であって、
成形型(29)を型閉じするとともに補強部材(24)の係合部(24a)を該補強部材(24)の長手方向から支持部材(31)に係脱可能に係合させて該補強部材(24)を支持部材(31)によりキャビティ(35)内に支持し、
次いで、上記キャビティ(35)内に熱可塑性樹脂(R)を射出充填してキャビティ(35)内で熱可塑性樹脂(R)が固化する過程でキャビティ容積を拡大させて熱可塑性樹脂(R)を膨張させ、
その後、上記支持部材(31)を補強部材(24)の係合部(24a)から上記長手方向に離脱させることを特徴とする樹脂パネルの製造方法。
