Description
この比較例は、プラチナを添加した、アルミニウムドープのタングステン酸ジルコニアの調製及び性能テストを開示する。担体は使用しなかった。実施例1から得られた素材18重量部に、6.21重量部の1.74重量%(NH3)4Pt(NO3)2水溶液を染み込ませた。350℃にて3時間の焼成の後、前記プラチナ塩を酸化プラチナへと分解した。このサンプルを0.6%Pt/WO3/Al−ZrO2と表し、上述の性能テストに用いた。結果を表1に示す。
この比較例は、コロイド状のアルミナに結合した混合酸化物触媒の調製及び性能を開示する。Pt/WO3/Al−ZrO2触媒は、プラチナ含量を1.0重量%に調整したことを除いて、比較例1に従って調製した。80%の混合酸化物/20%のアルミナを含む成型された触媒を、比較例1に従って調製したPt/WO3/Al−ZrO2を8.0重量部、及びコロイド状アルミナ(20%の水性溶媒中のアルミナ)であるNyacol(登録商標)を10.0重量部混合することによって調製した。この混合物を、パン生地型(dough−like)にプレス加工し、続いて焼成した。焼成は、静止した空気中にて120℃で1時間、その後5℃/分の傾斜速度で400℃まで上昇、そして3時間維持、の条件にて行った。得られた素材を微細な粉末へと粉砕し、上述の方法によるn−ヘプタン異性化能の評価に用いた。結果を表1に示す。
この比較例は、コロイド状のシリカに結合した混合酸化物触媒の調製及び性能を開示する。Pt/WO3/Al−ZrO2触媒を、比較例1に従って調製し、0.6%Ptを得た。40重量%のSiO2を水性溶媒中に含むコロイド状シリカのソース(Nalco−2327)は、ONDEO Nalco社(シカゴ、イリノイ州)から入手した。比較例1において調製された0.6%Pt/WO3/Al−ZrO22重量部を、1.2重量部のNalco−2327と混合した。この混合物を、パン生地型(dough−like)にプレス加工し、そして続いて焼成した。焼成は、静止した空気中にて120℃で12時間、その後5℃/分の傾斜速度で400℃まで上昇、そして3時間維持し、室温にまで冷却、の条件にて行った。触媒を、微細な粉末へと粉砕し、上述の手法に従って異性化能の評価に使用した。結果を表1に示す。
この比較例は、ベーマイトアルミナに結合した混合酸化物触媒の調製及び異性化能を開示する。プラチナは、成型の後で添加した。Catapal(登録商標)「D」アルミナ(ベーマイト)は、SASOL North American社から入手した。上述の方法に従って調製したWO3/Al−ZrO2272重量部を、Catapal(登録商標)「D」アルミナを117重量部、脱イオン水を135重量部、及び70%硝酸3.13重量部と混合した。この混合物を、混合装置で十分に混合し、その後、油圧押し出し成型機(Loomis Ram Extruder、232−16型)のシリンダーへと移し、続いて直径1/16インチの大きさに押し出し成型した。前記押し出し成型物を、静止した空気中、90℃にて1時間、120℃にて1時間、傾斜速度5℃/分で500℃まで昇温、そして5時間保持し、さらに室温まで冷やす、という条件にて焼成した。押し出し成型物は、ASTM D4179(成型された触媒の単一の塊の粉砕強度についてのテスト方法)に従ってテストしたところ、2.9lb(1.3166kg)/mmの粉砕強度を有することが判明した。その後、0.6重量%のプラチナを、比較例1の手法に従い、前記押し出し成型物に取り込ませた。前記押し出し成型物は、反応器に入れられる前に粉末状に粉砕した。異性化テストの結果を表1に示す。
この比較例は、沈殿シリカに結合した混合酸化物触媒の調製と異性化能を開示する。Pt/WO3/Al−ZrO2触媒を比較例1に従って調製し、0.6%Ptを得た。沈殿シリカ(Hi−Sil 233)は、PPG Industries社(ピッツバーグ、ペンシルバニア州)から入手した。このHi−Sil 233シリカは、0.55重量%のNaを含む。Naは触媒の酸性度を顕著に悪化させることが考えられるため、現品のHi−Sil 233を、WO3/Al−ZrO2粉末と混合する前に300ppmより低いNaレベルとなるまで十分に洗浄した。2.4重量部のWO3/Al−ZrO2を、0.6重量部の前記洗浄されたHi−Sil 233と混合した。この混合物をパン生地型(dough−like)にプレス加工し、続いて焼成した。焼成は、静止した空気中、120℃にて6時間、傾斜速度5℃/分で450℃まで昇温、そして5時間維持、さらに室温まで冷却、の条件にて行った。焼成された粒子の機械的な強度は、手による破砕の容易性から、1.9lb(0.8626kg)/mmより低いと推定された。その後、焼成された素材を、粉末へと粉砕し、比較例1の手法に従って0.6重量%のプラチナを取り込ませた。結果を表1に示す。
Claims (21)
- a)周期律表のIVB族およびIVA族からなる群から選ばれる元素の少なくとも1種の酸化物であって、前記酸化物の少なくとも1種はジルコニウムを含む酸化物;
b)周期律表のVIB族およびVIA族からなる群から選ばれる元素の酸化物;および
c)担体として、総触媒重量に対して、少なくとも1重量%のフュームドシリカ粒子、
を含有することを特徴とする、炭化水素の異性化用触媒組成物。 - 前記フュームドシリカ粒子が、総触媒重量に対して、少なくとも5重量%であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の炭化水素の異性化用触媒組成物。
- 更にアルミニウム化合物を含有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の炭化水素の異性化用触媒組成物。
- 前記アルミニウム化合物が、酸化アルミニウムであることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の炭化水素の異性化用触媒組成物。
- 更にVIII族の元素の金属を含有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の炭化水素の異性化用触媒組成物。
- 前記VIII族の元素の金属が、プラチナおよびパラジウムからなる群から選択されることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の炭化水素の異性化用触媒組成物。
- 前記IVB族元素が、スズであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の炭化水素の異性化用触媒組成物。
- 前記IVA族元素が、チタンおよびジルコニウムからなる群から選択されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の炭化水素の異性化用触媒組成物。
- 前記VIB族元素が、モリブデンまたはタングステンであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の炭化水素の異性化用触媒組成物。
- 酸化タングステンおよび酸化ジルコニウムを含有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の炭化水素の異性化用触媒組成物。
- 酸化モリブデンおよび酸化ジルコニウムを含有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の炭化水素の異性化用触媒組成物。
- 硫酸塩および酸化ジルコニウムを含有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の炭化水素の異性化用触媒組成物。
- 硫酸塩および酸化チタンを含有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の炭化水素の異性化用触媒組成物。
- 硫酸塩および酸化スズを含有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の炭化水素の異性化用触媒組成物。
- 前記フュームドシリカがコロイド状シリカと混合されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の炭化水素の異性化用触媒組成物。
- 前記フュームドシリカがアルミナと混合されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の炭化水素の異性化用触媒組成物。
- 前記フュームドシリカが沈殿シリカと混合されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の炭化水素の異性化用触媒組成物。
- 炭化水素の異性化方法であり、前記炭化水素を、化学変換反応条件下で
i)周期律表のIVB族およびIVA族からなる群から選ばれる元素の少なくとも1種の酸化物であって、前記酸化物の少なくとも1種はジルコニウムを含む酸化物;
ii)周期律表のVIB族およびVIA族からなる群から選ばれる元素の酸化物;および
iii)担体として、総触媒重量に対して、少なくとも1重量%のフュームドシリカ粒子
を含有する触媒組成物と接触させることを特徴とする、炭化水素の異性化方法。 - 前記化学変換反応条件が、温度が93℃から425℃で、圧力が7kPaから7000kPaで、LHSVが0.1から10であることを特徴とする、請求項18に記載の炭化水素の異性化方法。
- 前記炭化水素が、n−ブタン、n−ペンタン、n−ヘキサン、シクロヘキサン、n−ヘプタン、n−オクタン、n−ノナンおよびn−デカンからなる群から選択されることを特徴とする、請求項18に記載の炭化水素の異性化方法。
- 前記触媒組成物が、酸化タングステン、酸化ジルコニウム、酸化アルミニウムおよびプラチナを含有することを特徴とする、請求項18に記載の炭化水素の異性化方法。
