Description

Claims (14)
- 分岐ステントであって、
内径と外径を有するとともに前記内径と前記外径との間に壁部を定義する管状部材と、前記壁部はパターンを定義する幾何学的形態を有することと、
前記管状部材の壁部に形成されるとともに該壁部のパターンを遮断する拡張可能な分岐構造体と、前記拡張可能な分岐構造体は前記管状部材に連結される第一のリングと前記第一のリングに連結される第二のリングとを有することと、前記第一のリングは前記第二のリングと同心円状であることと、からなる分岐ステントにおいて、
前記第二のリングは中央分岐開口部を包囲するとともに該開口部を定義し、
前記第一のリング及び前記第二のリングは拡張されていない形態から拡張された形態まで移動可能であり、拡張されていない形態において、前記第一及び第二のリングは壁部に沿って配置され、かつ拡張された形態において、前記第一及び第二のリングは前記管状部材から外向きに延びており、
前記分岐構造体は遷移リングを含み、前記第二のリングは複数の内側連結部により前記第一のリングに連結され、前記第一のリングは複数の外側連結部により前記遷移リングに連結され、かつ第一及び第二のリングは連続的な波状曲線部材であるとともに中央分岐開口部に向かって延びる波状ピークを含み、
前記第一のリング及び第二のリングの間に補助アクセス開口部が定義され、それにより、拡張されていない状態における分岐管へのアクセスが提供され、前記補助アクセス開口部は拡張していない形態においては前記中央分岐開口部より大きい分岐ステント。 - 前記管状部材は長手軸を有し、かつ前記拡張可能な分岐構造体は拡張した形態において前記長手軸と垂直に配置される請求項1に記載のステント。
- 前記管状部材はその長手軸に沿って配置される複数の波形リングからなり、かつ前記波形リングは連結部により連結される請求項1に記載のステント。
- 前記第一及び第二のリングは拡張されていない形態において前記管状部材の長手軸と垂直に配置された共通な軸を有する請求項1に記載のステント。
- 前記遷移リングは不連続部を含む請求項1に記載のステント。
- 少なくとも一つのオメガ形状の連結部材が前記遷移リングと前記壁部のパターンとの間に延びている請求項1に記載のステント。
- 少なくとも一つの連結部材は前記不連続部を貫通して延びるとともに伸張した分岐構造体の外側にて前記壁部のパターンの一部に前記第一のリングを連結する請求項5に記載のステント。
- 前記少なくとも一つの連結部材は前記第一のリングを伸張した分岐構造体の外側にて前記壁部のパターンのオメガ形状のストラット部に連結する請求項7に記載のステント。
- 前記外側連結部の少なくとも一つは前記分岐開口部の中心に向かって延びる波状の曲線部材である請求項1に記載のステント。
- 前記内側及び外側連結部は直線の部材であるとともに前記分岐開口部の中心に向かって延びる請求項1に記載のステント。
- 外側連結部の各々と遷移リングとの交点はピボット点を形成し、該ピボット点を中心に前記波状ピークは拡張した形態にて外向きに回動する請求項1に記載のステント。
- 前記第一及び第二のリングは連続的な曲線部材であるとともに波状ピークを含み、前記第二のリングの波状ピークは0.025mm乃至0.225mmの曲率半径を有する請求項1に記載のステント。
- 前記第二のリングの波状ピークは0.125mm乃至0.225mmの曲率半径を有する請求項12に記載のステント。
- 前記分岐構造体は、前記第一のリング及び前記第二のリングと同心円状であり、かつ前記第二のリングに連結される第三のリングを更に含む、請求項1に記載のステント。
