Description
Claims (14)
- 鋳型キャビティ(4)を構成する銅管(3)と、循環水冷により該銅管を冷却するための部材とを含む、丸形のビレットおよびブルームを連続鋳造するための鋳型において、
前記銅管(3)は、全周およびほぼ全長に亘って、外側表面(5)にて複数の支持リブ(8)および複数の接続リブ(9)で、支持シェル(12)によって支持されており、また
冷却水を案内する複数の冷却ダクト(6)が、前記複数の支持リブ(8)および前記複数の接続リブ(9)によって境界を定められ、かつ、前記銅管(3)または前記支持シェル(12)における、全周に亘って配分されるとともに鋳型長に亘って設けられており、
前記接続リブ(9)が、鋳片進行方向を横断する方向への前記銅管(3)の移動を防ぐための締結具を有する構成になされ、前記締結具が、あり溝式突起、摺動ブロック用T字型突起、または締め付け具であることを特徴とする、鋳型。 - 鋳型キャビティ(24)を構成する銅管(23)と、循環水冷により該銅管を冷却するための部材とを含む、多角形のビレットおよびブルームを連続鋳造するための鋳型において、
前記銅管(23)は、その外側表面(25)に、外周およびその長さに亘って、複数の支持プレート(32〜32''')が設けられており、該支持プレートは、前記銅管(23)に接続されるとともに、複数の支持リブ(28、28' )および複数の接続リブ(29、78)で前記銅管(23)の壁を支持し、また
冷却水を案内するための複数の冷却ダクト(26)が、前記複数の支持リブ(28、28')および前記複数の接続リブ(29、78)によって境界を定められ、かつ、前記銅管(23)または前記支持プレート(32〜32''';72、72')における全周に亘って配分されるとともに、鋳型長に亘って設けられており、
前記接続リブ(29、78)が、鋳片進行方向を横断する方向への前記銅管(23)の移動を防ぐための締結具を有する構成になされ、前記締結具が、あり溝式突起、摺動ブロック用T字型突起、または締め付け具であることを特徴とする、鋳型。 - 請求項1または請求項2において、該銅管(3、23)の肉厚が、該冷却ダクト(6、26)の領域において該冷却ダクト(6、26)によって20%〜70%減少されていることを特徴とする鋳型。
- 請求項1または請求項2において、該冷却ダクト(6、26)が、該銅管(3、23)の該外表面の65%〜95%を占めていることを特徴とする鋳型。
- 請求項1または請求項2において、該銅管(3、23)は、該冷却ダクト(6、26)の領域において肉厚が4mm〜10mmであることを特徴とする鋳型。
- 請求項2において、長方形のビレットまたはブルームの場合には、4つの支持プレート(32〜32''')が該銅管(23)に着脱可能に取り付けられており、個々の支持プレート(32〜32''')は隣接するプレート同士が側端で互いに当接して重なり合っていることを特徴とする鋳型。
- 請求項2において、隣接する支持プレート(32、51、52)が該銅管(23)のコーナー領域において相互にネジ止めされて、該銅管(23)を取り囲む支持箱を形成していることを特徴とする鋳型。
- 請求項6において、該支持プレート(51、52)の重なり合いの間隙に弾力性シール(54)を配置して、該銅管壁が膨張できるようにしたことを特徴とする鋳型。
- 請求項2において、鋳片の各側面について、支持表面(28')がコーナー領域に沿って配置され、且つ接続リブ(9、29、59)が前記鋳型の各側面の中間領域に配置されていることを特徴とする鋳型。
- 請求項2において、前記銅管(23)が、湾曲した鋳型キャビティ(24)を備えており、前記銅管(23)の前記湾曲した側の側壁を支持する2つの支持プレート(32、32'')が前記湾曲した側の支持表面と反対側に平坦な境界面を備えていることを特徴とする鋳型。
- 請求項1または請求項2において、冷却ダクト(6、26、55)が前記銅管(3、23)にフライス加工で掘り込まれており、電気めっきによる銅層(58)により封じられていることを特徴とする鋳型。
- 請求項1または請求項2において、前記支持プレート(32〜32''')または前記支持シェル(12)が、オーステナイト鋼、または磁界を透過させ易い非金属材料から成ることを特徴とする鋳型。
- 請求項1または請求項2において、前記支持プレート(32〜32''')または前記支持シェル(12)の外側に電磁コイル(14)が配置されているか、または、前記支持プレート(32〜32''')または前記支持シェル(12)に移動式永久磁石が嵌め込まれていることを特徴とする鋳型。
- 請求項1または請求項2において、電解腐食を防止する保護層(57)が、前記支持プレート(32〜32''')または前記支持シェル(12)と前記銅管(3、23、56)との間に配置されていることを特徴とする鋳型。
