Claims (2)
- 外輪または内輪のいずれか一方の軌道輪にシール部材を固定し、このシール部材に設けたシールリップを対向する他方の軌道輪の金属面、または他方の軌道輪に取り付けた部材の金属面に摺接させて軸受空間を密封した密封型転がり軸受において、前記シールリップが摺接する金属面に、この金属面と同等以上の硬度を有する粒径が20〜200μmの微小ショットを噴射速度50m/秒以上で噴射する微小ショットピーニング処理を施し、前記微小ショットの素材を二硫化モリブデンとするとともに、前記シールリップと摺接する側の他方の軌道輪の軌道面を、前記金属面に微小ショットピーニング処理が施された後で研磨仕上げしたことを特徴とする密封型転がり軸受。
- 前記密封型転がり軸受が、内周に複列の軌道面を有する外輪としての外方部材と、これらの複列の軌道面と対向する軌道面を有する内輪としての内方部材を備え、前記外方部材と内方部材のいずれか一方に車輪取り付けフランジが設けられた車輪軸受装置に用いられるものである請求項1に記載の密封型転がり軸受。
