Description
(1) チャック軸に保持された眼鏡レンズの周縁を加工する研削砥石と、前記チャック軸に保持された眼鏡レンズにリムレスフレームを取り付けるための穴を穴開け工具によって加工する穴開け機構と、を備え、仕切り板にて形成された加工室に前記チャック軸、穴開け工具及び研削砥石が配置されている眼鏡レンズ加工装置において、前記加工室を形成する仕切り板の外側に検知器を配置し、前記穴開け工具を検知器に対して相対的に所定の位置関係に置いたときに、穴開け工具の近接を直接検知するか、仕切り板を貫通して延びる移動軸を持ち、前記穴開け工具の先端を前記移動軸の端部に相対的に移動したときの前記移動軸の動きを検知することによって、穴開け工具の折れを検知する検知手段と、該検知手段により前記穴開け工具の折れが検知されたときには前記穴開け機構の穴加工動作を停止する制御手段と、を備えることを特徴とする。
上下・左右移動機構部350の取り付け板373には、機構部800のベースとなる固定板801が固定されている。固定板801には前後(Y方向)に延びるレール802が取付けられ、レール802上をスライダー803が摺動する。スライダー803には、移動支基804がネジ止めされている。移動支基804のY方向の移動は、モータ805がボールネジ806を回転することによって行なわれる。
作業者は、加工準備として、未加工のレンズLEを左右一対にして各トレイ401に収納し、ストック装置400のステージ410上に10個のトレイ401を縦に並べて載置する。レンズLEには、予めカップ390が固定されている。作業者はシステム制御部600の加工スイッチを押して加工システムを作動させる。
こうしてトレイ401に入れられた各レンズLEが連続して加工される。この間、作業者は加工システムに常時ついていなくても良く、他のシステムの作業準備を行うことができる。

Claims (1)
- チャック軸に保持された眼鏡レンズの周縁を加工する研削砥石と、前記チャック軸に保持された眼鏡レンズにリムレスフレームを取り付けるための穴を穴開け工具によって加工する穴開け機構と、を備え、仕切り板にて形成された加工室に前記チャック軸、穴開け工具及び研削砥石が配置されている眼鏡レンズ加工装置において、
前記加工室を形成する仕切り板の外側に検知器を配置し、前記穴開け工具を検知器に対して相対的に所定の位置関係に置いたときに、穴開け工具の近接を直接検知するか、仕切り板を貫通して延びる移動軸を持ち、前記穴開け工具の先端を前記移動軸の端部に相対的に移動したときの前記移動軸の動きを検知することによって、穴開け工具の折れを検知する検知手段と、該検知手段により前記穴開け工具の折れが検知されたときには前記穴開け機構の穴加工動作を停止する制御手段と、を備えることを特徴とする眼鏡レンズ加工装置。
