図4は、本発明によるセンサの択一的な構成を示す断面図であり、
図5は、本発明による水分センサの別の択一的な構成を示す断面図であり、
図6は、本発明によるセンサのさらに別の択一的な構成を示す断面図であり、
図7は、図6に示されたセンサの変化実施例を示す断面図である。
Claims (1)
- 自動車のウインドガラスにおける水分を検出する光学式センサであって、送光器から放射された光が、ウインドガラスの境界面における反射時に水分によって弱化することを、受光器を用いて検出する形式のものにおいて、
送光器から放射された光(1)が、ウインドガラス(5)の外側面(6)と内側面(7)との間で複数回反射しながら、ウインドガラス(5)の内側面(7)に配置された再帰性反射体に導かれ、該再帰性反射体において反射された光(4)が、ウインドガラス(5)内を前記光(1)と同じ経路に沿って戻されて、受光器に導かれ、該再帰性反射体が、光屈折性の位相共役鏡(PCM)(8)として形成されていて、該位相共役鏡(8)は次のように、すなわち位相共役鏡(8)内に進入した光(1)のうち、位相共役鏡(8)における位相格子(11)によって分配された光(2)が、位相共役鏡(8)の境界面(i,ii)の乾燥時には全反射され、該境界面(i,ii)の濡れている場合には、位相共役鏡(8)から出力結合されて、位相共役鏡(8)の反射能がほぼ消滅するように、構成されていることを特徴とする、自動車のウインドガラスにおける水分を検出する光学式センサ。
