Description
A)沈殿溶液の生成
a)ソーダ溶液の生成
溶液の体積が143リットルである15.37重量%のソーダ溶液はNa2CO3(25.15kg)を蒸留水(141リットル)に添加することによって生成された。溶液は38℃で1.154g/mlの密度を有した。
b)Cu/Zn硝酸塩溶液の生成
50リットル容器でCu(NO3)×3H2O(20.23kg)に50℃の蒸留水(24.2kg)が添加された。その後ZnO粉末(4.43kg、6.3kgH2Oに分散して)30リットル容器で86%HNO3溶液と完全に溶解した。CuとZn溶液は300リットル容器に互いに混合された。沈殿することなく透明な溶液が得られた。
c)Al/Na硝酸塩溶液の生成
30リットル容器でNaAlO2(1.63kg)が22℃で蒸留水(7.5kg)に添加された。それから68%HNO3(6.4kg)が添加された。HNO3の添加後最初の1〜2分間、ゲル化と粘度の上昇が観察された。さらに、温度は97℃〜98℃に上昇した。HNO3の添加後、溶液はわずかに茶色に着色し、沈殿物は全く含まなかった。それから、Al/Na硝酸塩溶液はCu/Zn硝酸塩溶液に送り込まれた。
d)水酸化アルミニウムゾルの生成
アルミン酸ナトリウム(1.63kg)と蒸留水(7.5kg)は15リットル容器で30分間撹拌され、水酸化アルミニウムゾルが形成された。得られたゾル(8.46リットル)はCu/Zn/Al硝酸塩溶液に送り込まれた。白色沈殿が形成され、それは再びゆっくり溶解した。
硝酸塩溶液(水酸化アルミニウムゾルを含む)とソーダ溶液は74℃の温度で混合管を介して沈殿物容器に同時に送り込まれた。沈殿物容器の温度は60℃で、pHは約6.5であった。沈殿物容器の静止時間は約5〜10分に調整された。懸濁液は連続的に沈殿物容器から熟成容器に送り込まれる。
沈殿終了後、懸濁液は70℃に加熱された。沈殿物は70℃で60分熟成された。沈殿物の色は(熟成開始時の)明るい青色から(熟成終焉時の)緑に変化した。pH値は、熟成中6.6±0.1〜7.3±0.1まで上昇した。
懸濁液は熟成後濾過された。湿気のある濾塊が蒸留水中で分散され、再び濾過された。この手続は濾塊のNa含有量が350ppm未満になるまで繰り返された。
濾塊は10%の酸化物濃度まで水を添加することによって分散され、275〜280℃の入り口温度と105〜115℃の出口温度で噴霧乾燥機で乾燥された。
洗浄された触媒前駆体は320℃で3時間焼成された。
酸化触媒前駆体は還元ガス(98%N2、2%H2)の存在下で管状反応器内で室温から240℃まで1℃/分の加熱速度で加熱された。Cuの平均還元率は85%であった。還元後Cu結晶子の大きさは6.3nmであった。
実施例1はCu/Zn比が2.4に調整されて沈殿中のpHが7.0±0.1であるその差をもって繰り返された。還元後のCu結晶子の大きさは6.8nmであった。
実施例2はCu/Zn比が2.62に調整されたその差をもって繰り返された。還元後のCu結晶子の大きさは7.5nmであった。
欧州特許出願公開第125689号明細書(比較例)に係る触媒の生成。
溶液1: 418gの硝酸銅と50gのZnOが1リットルの水と148gのHNO3(52.5%)に溶解され、0.5リットルの水に93.8gのAl(NO3)3×9H2Oの溶液が添加された。
溶液2: 410gの炭酸ナトリウムが2リットルの水に溶解された。

- 触媒活性成分として酸化銅と酸化亜鉛を含むとともに熱安定化成分として酸化アルミニウムを含み、Cu/Zn比が1.8と2.7の間であって、その酸化された形での触媒が90〜120m2/gの比表面積値と320〜380mm3/gの細孔容積を有し、前記酸化アルミニウム成分が少なくとも部分的には水酸化アルミニウムゾルから得られ、前記触媒は使用前に少なくとも部分的に還元され、還元状態での銅結晶子の大きさが6〜7nmであることを特徴とするメタノール合成用Cu/Zn/Al触媒。
- 錠剤、環、或いは蜂の巣形状であることを特徴とする請求項1記載のメタノール合成用Cu/Zn/Al触媒。
- 前記酸化アルミニウム成分の比が1〜20重量%であることを特徴とする請求項1または2記載のメタノール合成用Cu/Zn/Al触媒。
- 前記酸化アルミニウム成分の比が5〜20重量%であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3いずれかに記載のメタノール合成用Cu/Zn/Al触媒。
- アルカリ炭酸塩又はアルカリのアルミン酸塩の溶液を添加することによって、銅及び亜鉛の塩と一部のアルミニウムの塩の溶液から対応する水酸化物炭酸塩又は水酸化物が沈殿することを特徴とし、前記銅及び亜鉛の塩の前記溶液と前記アルカリ炭酸塩又はアルカリ硝酸塩の溶液とのどちらかが水酸化アルミニウムゾルを含み、得られた前記沈殿物は沈殿溶液から分離され、洗浄され、乾燥され、焼成され、少なくとも部分的に還元されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4いずれかに記載の触媒の製造方法。
- 前記銅及び亜鉛の塩は対応する前記硝酸塩によって形成されて前記アルカリ炭酸塩及び/又は前記アルカリアルミン酸塩は対応する前記ナトリウム化合物によって形成されることを特徴とする請求項5記載の方法。
- メタノール合成における請求項1乃至4いずれかに記載の触媒の使用法。
