Description
本実施例においては、図4に示す構造を有する、第1の実施形態に係る光記録媒体を作製した。
本実施例においては、図6に示す構造を有する、第2の実施形態に係る光記録媒体を作製した。
本実施例においては、図7に示す構造を有する、3層の記録層を含む光記録媒体を作製した。
本実施例では、図9に示す構造を有する片面2層媒体を作製した。
実施例2と同様な方法で、PCディスク基板5上に第2の実施形態に係る光記録媒体50を形成した。なお、Ar/O2ガス流量比を4cc/21ccに設定してRFマグネトロンスパッタによりPtOxを成膜し、第1記録層を形成した。
図10に示す構造を有する比較例としての光記録媒体を作製した。
トラックピッチ0.35μmの溝が形成された厚さ約0.6mmのポリカーボネイト(PC)ディスク基板8上に、RFマグネトロンスパッタにより1kWのパワーでZnS−SiO2を成膜して、厚さ約50nmの光学干渉層81を形成した。
実施例2と同じ方法、同じ層構成で、第1記録層のみ異なる材料とした4種類のディスクE、F、G、Hを作製した。これらのディスクを実施例1と同条件で記録/再生して評価した。表3に、第1記録層に用いた4種類の材料と光学変化温度とともに、評価結果を示す。
Claims (8)
- ディスク基板上に、光学干渉層、第1記録層、光学干渉層、第2記録層、光学干渉層、および反射層を積層した構造を有し、前記第1記録層および第2記録層は光照射により同時に光学変化を起こすように配置され、ディスク基板側に配置された第1記録層の光学変化温度が第2記録層のそれより高く、第1記録層の消衰係数kが第2記録層のそれより大きいことを特徴とする光記録媒体。
- 第1記録層の光学変化温度が500℃以上1000℃以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光記録媒体。
- 第1記録層の消衰係数kが1.0以上4.0以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光記録媒体。
- ディスク基板上に、光学干渉層、第1記録層、光学干渉層、第2記録層、光学干渉層、および反射層を積層した構造を有し、前記第1記録層および第2記録層は光照射により同時に光学変化を起こすように配置され、ディスク基板側に配置された第1記録層の光学変化温度が第2記録層のそれより低く、第1記録層の消衰係数kが第2記録層のそれより小さいことを特徴とする光記録媒体。
- 第1記録層と第2記録層が6nm以上100nm以下隔てられていることを特徴とする請求項1または4に記載の光記録媒体。
- 第1記録層の光学変化温度が150℃以上500℃未満であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の光記録媒体。
- 第1記録層の消衰係数kが0.05以上1.0未満であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の光記録媒体。
- 請求項1または請求項4に記載の光記録媒体が中間層を介して2つ以上積層され、積層された2つ以上の光記録媒体は互いに独立して記録されることを特徴とする光記録媒体。
