Claims (4)
- 無線タグに向けて所定の送信信号を複数のアンテナ素子を有する送信アンテナにより送信すると共に、該送信信号に応じて無線タグから返信される返信信号を前記送信アンテナと共用の複数のアンテナ素子を有する受信アンテナにより受信することで該無線タグとの間で情報の通信を行う無線タグ通信装置であって、
前記複数のアンテナ素子から送信される送信信号それぞれの位相及び/又は振幅を制御することで前記送信アンテナの指向性を制御すると共に、該送信アンテナの指向性に基づいて前記複数のアンテナ素子から送信される送信信号それぞれに与えるウェイトを制御するフェイズドアレイ制御手段又はビームフォーミング制御手段である指向性制御手段と、
前記複数のアンテナ素子により受信される受信信号それぞれに与えるウェイトを適応制御するアダプティブアレイ制御手段であって、前記無線タグからの返信信号に基づいて前記複数のアンテナ素子により受信される受信信号それぞれに与えるウェイトを適応制御すると共に、前記指向性制御手段により設定された前記送信アンテナの指向性に基づいて各受信信号に与えるウェイトの初期値を設定するウェイト適応制御手段と
を、含み、
前記複数のアンテナ素子により同一周波数にて前記送信信号の送信及び前記受信信号の受信が行われたとき、前記ウェイト適応制御手段は、前記複数のアンテナ素子により受信される受信信号それぞれに与えるウェイトをそれら複数のアンテナ素子により送信される送信信号それぞれのウェイトとは異なる値に制御するものであり、
前記指向性制御手段は、前記ウェイト適応制御手段による適応制御が収束した後に、該適応制御により設定された各受信信号に与えるウェイトに基づいて前記送信アンテナの指向性を再設定するものであることを特徴とする無線タグ通信装置。 - 前記指向性制御手段は、前記送信アンテナの指向性方向の送信電力密度が可及的に大きくなるように各送信信号に与えるウェイトを制御するものである請求項1の無線タグ通信装置。
- 前記ウェイト適応制御手段は、前記複数のアンテナ素子により受信された後にそれぞれ所定のウェイトを与えられた受信信号を合成した合成信号の信号対雑音比が可及的に大きくなるように各受信信号に与えるウェイトを適応制御するものである請求項1又は2の無線タグ通信装置。
- 複数のアンテナ素子から成る送信アンテナ及び受信アンテナにおいて、それら複数のアンテナ素子の一部又は全部は、前記送信アンテナ及び受信アンテナにより共用される共用アンテナ素子であり、該共用アンテナ素子から送信される送信信号に前記指向性制御手段により制御されたウェイトを与えると共に、該共用アンテナ素子により受信される受信信号に前記ウェイト適応制御部により制御されたウェイトを与えるものである請求項1から3の何れかの無線タグ通信装置。
