Claims (5)
- 情報を記録・保持する磁性記録層と、
光ビームの入射する側と反対側の該磁性記録層上に設けられた非磁性層と、
該非磁性層上に設けられた磁性アシスト層とを具備し、
前記磁性アシスト層は情報の記録時の外部印加磁界よりも小さな保磁力を有するとともに、磁気等方性を有していることを特徴とする光磁気記録媒体。 - 前記磁性アシスト層は非磁性金属と遷移金属からなる多層膜から構成される請求項1記載の光磁気記録媒体。
- 前記磁性記録層、磁性アシスト層のキュリー温度をそれぞれTc1,Tc2とするとき、Tc1<Tc2である請求項1記載の光磁気記録媒体。
- 再生時に外部磁界を印加しつつ光ビームを照射してビームスポットより小さい領域から記録された情報を読み出し可能な光磁気記録媒体であって、
情報を記録・保持する磁性記録層と、
光ビームの入射する側の該磁性記録層上に設けられた磁性再生層と、
該磁性再生層と反対側の前記磁性記録層上に設けられた非磁性層と、
該非磁性層上に設けられた磁性アシスト層とを具備し、
前記磁性アシスト層は情報の記録時或いは再生時の外部印加磁界よりも小さな保磁力を有するとともに、磁気等方性を有していることを特徴とする光磁気記録媒体。 - 前記磁性記録層、磁性アシスト層のキュリー温度をそれぞれTc1,Tc2とするとき、Tc1<Tc2である請求項4記載の光磁気記録媒体。
