Description
そして、その製造方法としての該金属製芯材は、断面が平板の状態で各種形状の切除部が打ち抜きされ、その切除部付の平板芯材を押出し成形によって合成樹脂又はゴム等の材料によって芯材の表裏に被覆層および保持片を形成し、その後断面略U字条に折り曲げ加工されて製造されているものである。
しかし、近年の環境問題の高まりから、芯材の軽量化、リサイクル化するために、芯材の材質を金属から硬質合成樹脂に変更されることが要望されている。
しかし、自動車の車体開口部のフランジとの保持性を向上させるために、この相対する保持片間の隙間部を確実に狭くする必要があるが、確実に狭く押出し成形することが技術的に非常に困難であるという重大な問題点があった。
更に、対向する他方の側辺の内周面の内周被覆体の一部から突出した圧接用の保持片を形成する。また、対向する他方の側辺の内周被覆体から下方に延長した保持片を有する押込部を形成する。また押出し成形のため、硬質合成樹脂の芯材の板厚は、必要に応じて厚みを変えることができる。
また、芯材の一方の側辺の内周被覆体から延長された押込部が一体的に形成されて、押込部の外周に保持片を形成してあるため、押出し成形が容易に製造できる効果が得られ、該押込部を断面略U字条の内周面に押し込むことによって、自動車の車体フランジに装着するときの隙間が著しく小さく成形でき、押出し成形品の保持片がフランジに強固に圧接装着できる効果が得られる。
また、硬質合成樹脂の芯材と軟質合成樹脂の被覆体は同じ種類の樹脂であれば、溶融状態の軟質合成樹脂は、押出し成形時の熱と圧力によって硬質合成樹脂の芯材を強固に融着される効果がある。
芯材は硬質合成樹脂のため、必要に応じて芯材の厚みを変化させることができる効果がある。
該成形品本体(1)は、長手方向に成形され、内部の断面略U字条の硬質合成樹脂の芯材(2)と、その芯材(2)の全体又は一部を被覆又は融着する軟質合成樹脂の外周被覆体(3)と内周被覆体(4)とより構成されている。
該芯材(2)の相対向する一方の側辺(5)には、外周被覆体(3)又は内周被覆体(4)の一部より下端部(9)を超えて延長された押込部(6)を一体的に形成され、該押込部(6)には、外周に保持片(7)(7)が形成される。該保持片(7)(7)は、必要に応じて単数、複数の数量を装設することもある。また、外周面の外周被覆体(3)は、その一部が該芯材(2)に融着させないで空間部(8)を接触状態とすることもある。
図2のものは、図1の成形品本体(1)を図16に示す車体パネル(18)等の開口部のフランジ部(19)に装着する時の状態を示したものであり、押込部(6)を内部の内周面(20)側に押し込んだものである。符号(10)は、化粧リップを示したものである。
また、図4に示すものは、図3に示した状態より開口部のフランジ部(19)に装着する時の状態を示し、該押込部(6)を芯材(2)の内部の内周面(20)側に押し込まれた状態を示したものである。
図6に示す実施例は、成形品本体(1)を車体等の開口部のフランジ部(19)に装着する時の状態を示すもので、垂下形成された押込部(6)を芯材(2)の内周面(20)に押し込んだものである。該押込部(6)と側辺(5)との間にほぼ接触状態の空間部(8)が形成されると共に、位置の異なる保持片(7)(7)との間に狭い隙間部(A)が当然に形成され、且つ接触状態の場合もある。該フランジ部(19)を強固に支持できるものである。
図8に示すものは、図7で示した下方外部に突設垂下した圧接する保持片(7)(7)を設けた押込部(6)(6)を芯材(2)内部の内周面(20)に押し込んだ状態を示したものである。符号(11)は、該外周被覆体(3)の所要位置に装着した中空シール部を示したものである。
また、押込部(6)と保持片(7)を形成する軟質合成樹脂も内外被覆体と同じ材料で1台の押出し成形機で製造される方法と、該押込部(6)と該保持片(7)の所望される機能、品質に応じて材料の硬度や種類を変える場合には、2台目、3台目の押出し成形機によって第2金型ダイス(26)の内部で多重押出し成形される。
更に、被覆体を形成する軟質合成樹脂としては、硬度90以下(JIS K7215A硬度)のオレフィン系樹脂、スチレン系樹脂またはそれらの熱可塑性エラストマーを使用する。

Claims (5)
- 自動車のドアー、トランク及びウインド等の車体の各種開口部に装着する芯材を有する押出し成形品において、成形品本体(1)は、長手方向に成形された断面略U字条の硬質合成樹脂の芯材(2)と、該芯材(2)を被覆する軟質合成樹脂の外周被覆体(3)及び内周被覆体(4)とから構成され、該芯材(2)には、相対向する側辺(5)(5)の一方の側辺(5)のみに、外周被覆体(3)又は内周被覆体(4)より延長された押込部(6)を一体的に形成し、該押込部(6)は、該芯材(2)の内部(20)に向って押し込むことができるように下方に延設すると共に、該押込部(6)の外周に圧接用の保持片(7)を配設した事を特徴とする芯材を有する押出し成形品。
- 自動車の車体のドアー、トランク及びウインド等の車体の各種開口部に装着する芯材を有する押出し成形品において、成形品本体(1)は、長手方向に成形された断面略U字条の硬質合成樹脂の芯材(2)と、該芯材(2)を被覆する軟質合成樹脂の外周被覆体(3)及び内周被覆体(4)とから構成され、該芯材(2)には、相対向する側辺(5)(5)の一方の側辺(5)には、外周被覆体(3)又は内周被覆体(4)より延長された押込部(6)を一体的に形成し、該押込部(6)は、該芯材(2)の内部(20)に向って押し込むことができるように下方に延設すると共に、該押込部(6)の外周に圧接用の保持片(7)を形成し、相対向する他方の側辺(5)には、内周被覆体(4)より直接突出した圧接用の保持片(7)を形成した事を特徴とする芯材を有する押出し成形品。
- 芯材(2)には、相対向する側辺(5)(5)の一方の側辺(5)には、外周被覆体(3)又は内周被覆体(4)より延長された押込部(6)を一体的に形成し、該押込部(6)は、該芯材(2)の内部(20)に向って押し込むことができるように下方に延設すると共に、該押込部(6)の外周に圧接用の保持片(7)を形成し、相対向する他方の側辺(5)には、該外周被覆体(3)又は該内周被覆体(4)と一体的に形成され、該芯材(2)の下端部(9)を超えて下方に延長した保持片(7)を設けた押込部(6)を形成したことを特徴とする請求項2記載の芯材を有する押出し成形品。
- 請求項1から3の外周被覆体(3)は、断面略U字条の芯材(2)の外周全体または一部を融着させたことを特徴とする請求項1から3記載の芯材を有する押出し成形品。
- 請求項1から3の内周被覆体(4)は、断面略U字条の芯材(2)の内周全体または一部を融着させたことを特徴とする請求項1から3記載の芯材を有する押出し成形品。
