Description
動力を出力可能な内燃機関と、
前記内燃機関からの動力の少なくとも一部を用いて発電可能な発電手段と、
前記発電手段と電力をやり取り可能な蓄電手段と、
燃費を優先する燃費優先モードを選択するための燃費優先モード選択スイッチと、
前記燃費優先モード選択スイッチがオフされているときには第1の関係を用いて前記蓄電手段の充電に許容される最大電力である許容最大充電電力を設定し、前記燃費優先モード選択スイッチがオンされているときには前記第1の関係に比べて前記蓄電手段の充電を許容する傾向の第2の関係を用いて前記許容最大充電電力を設定する許容最大充電電力設定手段と、
前記設定された許容最大充電電力の範囲内で前記蓄電手段の状態に基づいて該蓄電手段を充電するための要求充電電力を設定する要求充電電力設定手段と、
車両に要求される要求動力を設定する要求動力設定手段と、
前記設定された要求充電電力で前記蓄電手段が充電されると共に前記設定された要求動力が得られるように前記内燃機関と前記発電手段とを制御する制御手段と、
を備えるものである。
(a)前記燃費優先モード選択スイッチがオフされているときには第1の関係を用いて前記蓄電手段の充電に許容される最大電力である許容最大充電電力を設定し、前記燃費優先モード選択スイッチがオンされているときには前記第1の関係に比べて前記蓄電手段の充電を許容する傾向の第2の関係を用いて前記許容最大充電電力を設定するステップと、
(b)ステップ(a)で設定された許容最大充電電力の範囲内で前記蓄電手段の状態に基づいて該蓄電手段を充電するための要求充電電力を設定するステップと、
(c)ステップ(b)で設定された要求充電電力で前記蓄電手段が充電されると共に車両に要求される要求動力が得られるように前記内燃機関と前記発電手段とを制御するステップと、
を含むものである。

Claims (7)
- 動力を出力可能な内燃機関と、
前記内燃機関からの動力の少なくとも一部を用いて発電可能な発電手段と、
前記発電手段と電力をやり取り可能な蓄電手段と、
燃費を優先する燃費優先モードを選択するための燃費優先モード選択スイッチと、
前記燃費優先モード選択スイッチがオフされているときには第1の関係を用いて前記蓄電手段の充電に許容される最大電力である許容最大充電電力を設定し、前記燃費優先モード選択スイッチがオンされているときには前記第1の関係に比べて前記蓄電手段の充電を許容する傾向の第2の関係を用いて前記許容最大充電電力を設定する許容最大充電電力設定手段と、
前記設定された許容最大充電電力の範囲内で前記蓄電手段の状態に基づいて該蓄電手段を充電するための要求充電電力を設定する要求充電電力設定手段と、
車両に要求される要求動力を設定する要求動力設定手段と、
前記設定された要求充電電力で前記蓄電手段が充電されると共に前記設定された要求動力が得られるように前記内燃機関と前記発電手段とを制御する制御手段と、
を備える車両。 - 請求項1に記載の車両において、
車速を検出する車速検出手段を更に備え、
前記第1および第2の関係は、それぞれ前記検出された車速が低いほど前記許容最大充電電力を小さくする傾向を有するものであり、前記第2の関係は、同一の車速に対する前記許容最大充電電力を前記第1の関係に比べて大きく規定する車両。 - 前記要求充電電力設定手段は、前記蓄電手段の状態に基づく基本充電電力と前記設定された許容最大充電電力とのうちの小さい方を前記要求充電電力として設定する請求項1または2に記載の車両。
- 前記制御手段は、走行に要求される要求駆動力を得るのに必要なパワーと前記設定された要求充電電力で前記蓄電手段を充電するのに必要なパワーとを含む要求パワーに基づいて前記内燃機関を間欠運転制御することができる請求項1から3の何れかに記載の車両。
- 少なくとも前記蓄電手段からの電力を用いて所定の車軸に走行用の動力を出力可能な電動機を更に備える請求項1から4の何れかに記載の車両。
- 前記発電手段は、前記内燃機関の出力軸と前記車軸または該車軸とは異なる他の車軸とに連結され、電力と動力の入出力を伴って前記出力軸側と前記車軸側に動力を入出力する手段である請求項5に記載の車両。
- 前記内燃機関からの動力を前記車軸または該車軸とは異なる他の車軸に伝達可能な無段変速機を更に備える請求項5に記載の車両。
