Description
ステップS23で内燃機関1が減速状態ではないと判断した場合、ステップS11で減速F/C条件が成立していないと判断した場合、及びステップS25でXPWが1ではないと判断した場合はステップS32へ進み、以降は図4と同じ処理を実行した後、今回の制御ルーチンを終了する。

Claims (13)
- 内燃機関の排気通路に配置され、酸素を吸蔵することが可能な排気浄化触媒と、前記内燃機関の減速時に前記内燃機関へ供給する燃料をカットする燃料カット手段と、前記排気浄化触媒の劣化が促進されると判断した場合に前記燃料カット手段の動作を禁止して前記排気浄化触媒の劣化を抑制する触媒劣化抑制手段と、を備えた内燃機関の空燃比制御装置において、
前記触媒劣化抑制手段は、所定の燃料増量条件が成立した場合に行われる前記内燃機関の燃料増量運転の終了後に、前記排気浄化触媒からの硫化水素の発生を抑制することが可能な酸素量の酸素を前記内燃機関の停止までに前記排気浄化触媒に吸蔵させるべく前記燃料カット手段の動作を許可する動作許可期間を設けたことを特徴とする内燃機関の空燃比制御装置。 - 前記触媒劣化抑制手段は、前記燃料増量運転の終了後に前記内燃機関へ吸入された積算吸気量により前記動作許可期間の終了時期を判断することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の空燃比制御装置。
- 前記触媒劣化抑制手段は、前記燃料増量運転の終了後から経過した時間により前記動作許可期間の終了時期を判断することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の空燃比制御装置。
- 前記触媒劣化抑制手段は、前記排気浄化触媒へ流入する排気の空燃比がリーンに変化してから前記内燃機関へ吸入された積算吸気量により前記動作許可期間の終了時期を判断することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の空燃比制御装置。
- 前記触媒劣化抑制手段は、前記排気浄化触媒へ流入する排気の空燃比がリーンに変化してから経過した時間により前記動作許可期間の終了時期を判断することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の空燃比制御装置。
- 前記内燃機関の空燃比を制御する空燃比制御手段を備え、
前記空燃比制御手段は、前記燃料増量運転の終了後、前記動作許可期間と少なくとも一部が重なるように設定され、前記内燃機関の減速時にのみ前記内燃機関で燃料を燃焼させて前記内燃機関を運転しつつ空燃比をリーン側に制御するリーン制御期間を設けたことを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の内燃機関の空燃比制御装置。 - 前記空燃比制御手段は、前記燃料増量運転の終了後に前記内燃機関へ吸入された積算吸気量により前記リーン制御期間の終了時期を判断することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の内燃機関の空燃比制御装置。
- 前記空燃比制御手段は、前記燃料増量運転の終了後から経過した時間により前記リーン制御期間の終了時期を判断することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の内燃機関の空燃比制御装置。
- 前記空燃比制御手段は、前記排気浄化触媒へ流入する排気の空燃比がリーンに変化してから前記内燃機関へ吸入された積算吸気量により前記リーン制御期間の終了時期を判断することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の内燃機関の空燃比制御装置。
- 前記空燃比制御手段は、前記排気浄化触媒へ流入する排気の空燃比がリーンに変化してから経過した時間により前記リーン制御期間の終了時期を判断することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の内燃機関の空燃比制御装置。
- 前記空燃比制御手段は、前記内燃機関の燃料増量運転後において前記リーン制御期間及び前記動作許可期間内に前記燃料カット手段が燃料をカットした期間とそれぞれ重ならないように設けられ、前記所定の燃料増量条件が成立せず、かつ前記内燃機関の空燃比をストイキよりリーンに制御すべき条件が成立しなかったと判断されて前記内燃機関の空燃比がストイキで運転されたストイキ運転期間が長いほど、前記リーン制御期間を短く設定することを特徴とする請求項6〜10のいずれか一項に記載の内燃機関の空燃比制御装置。
- 前記空燃比制御手段は、前記内燃機関の燃料増量運転後、前記動作許可期間内において前記燃料カット手段が燃料をカットした燃料カット期間が、前記内燃機関の燃料増量運転後に前記排気浄化触媒に流入した酸素の積算流量の合計値が所定の判定酸素量以上になる期間より短い場合に前記リーン制御期間を設けることを特徴とする請求項6〜11のいずれか一項に記載の内燃機関の空燃比制御装置。
- 前記排気浄化触媒へ流入した酸素の積算流量を取得する酸素積算流量取得手段を備え、
前記空燃比制御手段は、前記動作許可期間内において前記燃料カット手段が燃料をカットした燃料カット期間中に前記酸素積算流量取得手段が取得した酸素の積算流量を含む前記内燃機関の燃料増量運転後に前記排気浄化触媒に流入した酸素の積算流量の合計値が、所定の判定酸素量より少ない場合に前記リーン制御期間を設けることを特徴とする請求項6〜11のいずれか一項に記載の内燃機関の空燃比制御装置。
