Description
Claims (11)
- エアバッグであって、このエアバッグは、ガス発生器から膨張させるエアバッグ内の一つ又は複数のゾーンに達している主となるアウター・ガス流路ダクトと、前記アウター・ガス流路ダクト内に装着される別個のインナー・ガス流路ダクトとを有し、このインナー・ガス流路ダクトと前記アウター・ガス流路ダクトとは、ガス発生器に接続すべき帯域端部において、相互に固定されるダクト径方向で所定長さの複数の領域を有しているもの。
- インナー・ガス流路ダクトの二つの領域がアウター・ガス流路ダクトの二つのそれぞれの領域に固定されている請求項1によるエアバッグ。
- 前記アウター・ガス流路ダクトは、一つのシートを重ねた二つの織物層から形成され、前記インナー・ガス流路ダクトは、一つのシートを重ねた二つの織物層から形成され、前記アウター・ガス流路ダクトを形成する織物層の前面の層は、インナー・ガス流路ダクトを形成する織物層の前面の層の一つの領域に固定され、前記アウター・ガス流路ダクトの織物層の後側の層は、前記インナー・ガス流路ダクトの織物層の後側の層の別の一つの領域に固定されている請求項2によるエアバッグ。
- 前記二つの領域は、位置がずれていて、重ならないようになっている請求項3によるエアバッグ。
- インナー・ガス流路ダクトには、突出する複数の耳が設けられ、これらは、前記アウター・ガス流路ダクトの端部からはみ出ていて、折り返し線にそって折り返され、前記アウター・ガス流路ダクトの端部に重ねられ、前記耳は、前記アウター・ガス流路ダクトを形成する織物層に固定されている請求項1又は請求項2のいずれか一つによるエアバッグ。
- 各耳は、平らにされたとき、前記インナー・ガス流路ダクトの直径よりも大きくなく、各耳は、前記アウター・ガス流路ダクトを形成する織物層のそれぞれに折り返されて重ねられ、各耳は、それが重ねられた織物層に固定されるようになっている請求項5によるエアバッグ。
- 各耳は、平らにされたとき、前記インナー・ガス流路ダクトの直径よりも大きな寸法のもので、前記耳は、前記アウター・ガス流路ダクトの外面側へ折り返されて重ねられ、かくして前記耳は前記インナー・ガス流路ダクトには重ならずに、前記アウター・ガス流路ダクトを形成する織物層の方に固定されるようになっている請求項5によるエアバッグ。
- 前記ダクト端部からはみ出る耳の少なくとも一つの前記折り返し線には、溝があいており、前記エアバッグには、前記溝に通されるように配置のタブが設けられている請求項5から請求項7のいずれか一つによるエアバッグ。
- 前記耳の少なくとも一つには、孔が設けられ、前記アウター・ガス流路ダクトと前記インナー・ガス流路ダクトとにも孔が設けられていて、その結果、前記耳又は耳の各々における孔は、前記アウター・ガス流路ダクトと前記インナー・ガス流路ダクトとにおける共働する孔に正合するようになっている請求項5から請求項8のいずれか一つによるエアバッグ。
- 前記インナー・ガス流路ダクトには、前記突出の耳から離れた位置に少なくとも一つの別の孔が設けられている請求項9によるエアバッグ。
- 前記帯域は、軸方向に延びたタブに位置し、これらタブは、インナー及びアウター・ガス流路ダクトの端部からダクトの長手方向につき出ている請求項2によるエアバッグ。
