Description
このアメリカ合衆国特許第5759185号明細書に基づき公知のフライス工具は、外科的な目的のための特殊工具である。この場合、骨の削り屑を吸い出すために、工具内に中央で延びる通路が設けられている。
請求項1の上位概念部の特徴を有する別のフライス工具が、アメリカ合衆国特許第2437668号明細書に基づき公知である。この公知の工具は木工のために規定されていて、個々の多数の歯を、回転可能な中空のシャンクに有している。このシャンクは同時にチップ導出のために働く。
端面側に配置された複数のカッティングインサートと、内部に位置する、工具長手方向軸線に対して対称的に配置されたチップ導出通路とを備えたフライス工具が、たとえば特開2002−166320号公報に基づき公知である。この場合、カッティングインサートによって発生させられたチップは、空気流によってチップ導出通路内に吸い込まれる。
軽金属加工のためのフライス工具、ただし、中央のチップ導出通路なしのフライス工具が、たとえばカタログ「Rotating tools catalogue」(2001年2月、Sandvik Coromant UK、Halesowen、England)に基づき公知である。この公知の工具の切刃ジオメトリは、特にアルミニウム合金の加工の要求に適合されている。
Claims (20)
- フライス工具(1)であって、当該フライス工具(1)が、工具長手方向軸線(A)を中心として回転可能であり、
・内部に位置する、工具長手方向軸線(A)に対して平行に延びるチップ導出通路(11)と、吸出し開口(12)とを備えたスリーブ状のシャンク(2)が設けられており、
・工具長手方向軸線(A)とシャンク(2)とに対して同軸的に該シャンク(2)に保持された、切刃(7,9)としての端面切刃(7)と周面切刃(9)とを備えたフライスヘッド(3,3a,3b,3c)が設けられており、少なくとも1つの切刃(7,9)が、フライスヘッド(3,3a,3b,3c)の周面に正のすくい角(γa,γr)を形成している形式のものにおいて、
シャンク(2)が、一体の構成ユニットとして二重壁で内側シャンク(2b)と外側シャンク(2a)とを備えて形成されており、該外側シャンク(2a)が、内側シャンク(2b)をその長さにわたって完全に取り囲んでいて、シャンク端部(13)にまで延びており、外側シャンク(2a)と内側シャンク(2b)との間に、少なくともチップ導出を助成するための機能または冷却機能を有する媒体をフライスヘッド(3,3a,3b,3c)に供給するための流体通路(5,5a,5b,5c)が形成されていることを特徴とする、フライス工具。 - すくい角(γ a )が、フライスヘッド(3,3a,3b,3c)の端面で少なくとも10゜に設定されている、請求項1記載のフライス工具。
