Description
請求項1記載の発明は、気筒12内に燃料を直接噴射する筒内インジェクタ17及び吸気通路15に燃料を噴射する吸気通路インジェクタ18を備え、それらインジェクタ17,18の燃料噴射を所定の噴射量比率をもって制御するエンジンの燃料噴射制御装置において、前記筒内インジェクタ17の実噴射量とその目標噴射量との乖離度合を検出する検出手段と、機関運転状態が前記筒内インジェクタ17の燃料噴射を実行する領域にあるときにおいて、前記検出手段により検出される乖離度合が、前記筒内インジェクタの噴孔に付着していたデポジットが焼失して前記燃料噴射への悪影響を無視し得る状況であることを示す度合よりも小さいときに、前記検出される乖離度合を前記噴射量比率の設定に反映させる設定手段とを備えるようにしている。
では、それらの乖離が小さくなるようにフィードバック補正量が設定される。また、筒内インジェクタ17に加えて吸気通路インジェクタ18が使用される領域における、筒内インジェクタ17の実噴射量と目標噴射量との乖離度合も同様に、フィードバック補正量に反映される。従って、このフィードバック補正量はインジェクタ17,18の実噴射量と基本噴射量との乖離傾向を反映した値となる。
また、例えば請求項6記載の発明によるように、前記設定手段は前記検出される乖離度合を前記噴射量比率の設定に反映させた後に前記学習値の絶対値を減少させる、といった方法を採用することができる。
図1は、本実施形態にかかるエンジンの燃料噴射制御装置を示す概略図である。エンジン11の気筒12内にはピストン13が設けられ、このピストン13等によって区画形成される燃焼室10には吸気通路15及び排気通路16がそれぞれ接続されている。
均値FAFAVEが所定のリーン判定値(>1.0)を上回った場合には、学習値KGに所定量αが加算されるとともに、補正係数FAFから同所定量αが減算される。一方、上記平均値FAFAVEが所定のリッチ判定値(<1.0)を下回った場合には、学習値KGから所定量αが減算されるとともに、補正係数FAFから同所定量αが加算される。因みに、実際の空燃比が理論空燃比と略一致しており、補正係数FAFの平均値FAFAVEが上記各判定値との間にある場合には、こうした学習値KGの更新は行われず、その時点の学習値KGが維持される。

条件2 KG<KGDEC
ここで、上記一方の判定値KGINCは筒内インジェクタ17の噴孔にデポジットが付着して燃料噴射への悪影響が無視できないこと(条件1)、もう一方の判定値KGDECは筒内インジェクタ17の噴孔に付着していたデポジットが焼失して燃料噴射への悪影響が無視し得る状況になったこと(条件2)、をそれぞれ判定するための判定値である。従って、上記ステップS101,S102の処理を通じて、筒内インジェクタ17の実噴射量とその目標量との乖離度合が検出される。
一方、各条件1,2のいずれか一方が満たされている場合、即ち、筒内インジェクタ17の噴孔にデポジットが付着して燃料噴射への悪影響が無視できない状況にあるか、或いは、同デポジットが焼失して燃料噴射への悪影響が無視し得る状況になった場合には、制御部21は処理をステップS103に移行する。

上式(1)の噴射量比率KPINJは基本噴射量QBのうち吸気通路インジェクタ18によって噴射される燃料量の比率であり、初期値は「0」に設定されている。

このように筒内インジェクタ17の噴孔に対するデポジットの付着状況に応じて各インジェクタ17,18の燃料噴射量Q1,Q2を算出した後、制御部21はこの一連の処理を終了する。尚、上記では処理の初期において筒内インジェクタ17のみを使用する燃料噴射方式を説明したが、筒内インジェクタ17に加えて吸気通路インジェクタ18による燃料噴射が行われる場合においても上記と同様に、先のステップS101,S102を通じて筒内インジェクタ17の実噴射量とその目標量との乖離度合を検出することができる。
もに、燃料噴射比率KPINJを学習値KGの大きさに応じて急激に変化させるべき場合には急激に、緩慢に変化させるべき場合には緩慢に変更することが可能となる。よって、一定量ずつ変化させる方法よりも、そのときの状況に適合した燃料噴射比率へと各インジェクタ17,18をより迅速に設定することができる。
・デポジット付着程度を監視するパラメータとして本実施形態では学習値KGを用いるようにしたが、補正係数FAFのみを使用してもよいし、これらのフィードバック補正量FAF,KGの双方を使用するようにしてもよい。フィードバック補正量を使用して各インジェクタ17,18からの燃料噴射量を状況に即した形態で変更することができれば、本発明の作用効果を得ることができるからである。
Claims (6)
- 気筒内に燃料を直接噴射する筒内インジェクタ及び吸気通路に燃料を噴射する吸気通路インジェクタを備え、それらインジェクタの燃料噴射を所定の噴射量比率をもって制御するエンジンの燃料噴射制御装置において、
前記筒内インジェクタの実噴射量とその目標噴射量との乖離度合を検出する検出手段と、
機関運転状態が前記筒内インジェクタの燃料噴射を実行する領域にあるときにおいて、前記検出手段により検出される乖離度合が、前記筒内インジェクタの噴孔に付着していたデポジットが焼失して前記燃料噴射への悪影響を無視し得る状況であることを示す度合よりも小さいときに、前記検出される乖離度合を前記噴射量比率の設定に反映させる設定手段と
を備えることを特徴とするエンジンの燃料噴射制御装置。 - 前記設定手段は、機関運転状態が前記筒内インジェクタの燃料噴射を実行する領域にあるときにおいて、前記筒内インジェクタの噴孔にデポジットが付着することに起因して前記検出手段により検出される前記筒内インジェクタの実噴射量が前記目標噴射量を下回る傾向にある旨の検出結果に基づいて前記吸気通路インジェクタの噴射量比率を増大させる
請求項1記載のエンジンの燃料噴射制御装置。 - 前記検出手段は前記筒内インジェクタの燃料噴射にかかる空燃比制御のフィードバック補正量に基づいて前記乖離度合の検出を行うものであり、
前記設定手段は前記フィードバック補正量に基づいて前記噴射量比率を設定する
請求項1又は2記載のエンジンの燃料噴射制御装置。 - 前記設定手段は前記フィードバック補正量に基づく噴射量比率の設定に際し、前記フィードバック補正量の大きさに応じて同噴射量比率を可変設定する
請求項3記載のエンジンの燃料噴射制御装置。 - 前記乖離度合は前記目標噴射量と前記実噴射量との定常的な乖離傾向に応じて学習される学習値である
請求項1記載のエンジンの燃料噴射制御装置。 - 前記設定手段は前記検出される乖離度合を前記噴射量比率の設定に反映させた後に前記学習値の絶対値を減少させる
請求項5記載のエンジンの燃料噴射制御装置。
