Description
図1ないし図4は本発明の第1実施形態による工具バーを示す。
図11は本発明の第5実施形態による剛性勾配を有する加工用工具バーを示す断面図であり、図12は図11に示す加工用工具バーの構成要素の組立関係を示す概略図である。
第6実施形態による工具バーを第5実施形態による工具バーと比較すると、第5実施形態の工具バーは金属材料部と複合材料部がそれぞれ1つずつだけで構成されるが、第6実施形態の工具バーは金属材料部と複合材料部が多数あることを除いては、その構成要素が同一又は相似する。したがって、第6実施形態においては、第5実施形態と同一又は類似した構成要素についての具体的な説明は省く。
このような工具バー600の長手方向に見て、工具装着部610に締結される工具バー600の一端と工具バー600の中間部には、タングステンカーバイド合金等の静的剛性の高い材料から製作された円柱状の金属バー621a、621bが位置する。そして、工具バー装着部610に締結された金属バー621aとほかの金属バー621b間には比剛性の高い多数の複合材料バー631が位置する。
Claims (10)
- 被加工物を加工する切削工具が装着される工具バーにおいて、
前記工具バーの長さの一部を占める金属バーと、
前記工具バーの長さの残部を占める複合材料バーと、
前記金属バーと前記複合材料バーの外周面を取り囲んで、前記金属バーと前記複合材料バーを互いに固定させる連結部材とを含んでなることを特徴とする工具バー。 - 請求項1において、前記金属バーと前記複合材料バーが少なくとも二つの別個のバーを備え、前記金属バーと前記複合材料バーが前記工具バーの長手方向に沿って配置され、最外側には一つの金属バーが位置することを特徴とする工具バー。
- 請求項2において、前記連結部材が少なくとも二つの別個の部材を備えることを特徴とする工具バー。
- 請求項2又は3において、前記連結部材が長手方向に孔が形成された中空の棒状部材であり、前記金属バー及び前記複合材料バーが前記孔に挿入固定されることを特徴とする工具バー。
- 請求項4において、前記連結部材の孔がその中間に形成された壁により隔離されることを特徴とする工具バー。
- 請求項5において、前記連結部材の孔に挿入された金属バー及び前記複合材料バーが接着剤により接着固定されることを特徴とする工具バー。
- 請求項5において、前記金属バーと前記複合材料バーが前記連結部材の凹部に締りばめ方式で固定されることを特徴とする工具バー。
- 請求項4において、前記工具バーの端部に位置する連結部材の中空の一端が閉鎖され、前記連結部材の他端に形成された孔に前記金属バー及び複合材料バーが挿入固定されることを特徴とする工具バー。
- 請求項5において、前記金属バー及び前記複合材料バーの両端部の外側面に段差部が形成され、前記連結部材の孔を隔離する壁面には前記段差部の段差面と接する段差突出部が形成されることを特徴とする工具バー。
- 請求項8において、前記連結部材の長さの中間地点に締結孔が形成され、前記切削工具がそこに装着されることを特徴とする工具バー。
