Description
前記方法は、液体表面付近地点(流出孔)よりガスが引き出される際の液体とガスの界面に受ける微小引出効果に依存する。本発明の方法は、液体(特に電子式燃料噴射)の均一霧化を一工程とした、如何なる機構にも適用可能である。
しかし、混合引出によって作られるマイクロジェットの液体動力学は、外観上は未だに未開のものである。マイクロジェットの観察及び研究、そして特有の特質及び潜在的使用価値は、現在の霧化方法を導き出した。
(1)毛細管マイクロジェットの分離に起因する極めて小さいサイズ(1μm迄下がる)、
(2)ジェット径が安定している場合の非常に小さいサイズの分散、これは液体の流動率が安定している限り維持される。
これによって微小標準滴サイズが決定できる。
(境界層の厚さのように)このシステムの最小の径において、液体及びガスの単位体積ごとの運動エネルギーは、同じオーダーとすべきである。ρlが液体密度の場合、結果として得られる液体速度は、
ガスの流れは、層流、すなわち、乱流状態(ガス流の乱れた変動は、高振動数を持ち、液体とガスの界面を摂動させるものである。)を発生させないような様式であるべきである。レイノルズ数は、νgがガスの動粘度であった場合、
勿論、ガスは、霧化装置の作用に干渉する必要がないため、本発明の利用環境によっては(例えば、燃焼、麻薬吸入)、外部から高い流動率で供給することもできる。

Claims (6)
- 圧力室内の供給部から液体が滴として排出されるように、該供給部を通して液体を注入する工程、
前記供給部に対向する圧力室の流出孔から霧化室に引出ガスを放出させるように、圧力室の流入孔を通して引出ガスを圧力室内に送り出しする工程からなり、
前記供給部の端から排出される液体は、前記引出ガスによって、連続的で安定した毛細管マイクロジェットとして前記圧力室の前記流出孔を通過し、霧化室に放出されて、霧化された液滴となることを特徴とする液滴の製造方法。 - 請求項1に記載の液滴の製造方法において、前記液体の粘性率は、10-4〜1kgm-1s-1であることを特徴とする、液滴の製造方法。
- 請求項1又は2の何れか1項記載の液滴の製造方法において、前記供給部の径が0.1〜0.4mmであることを特徴とする、液滴の製造方法。
- 請求項1〜3の何れか1項記載の液滴の製造方法において、前記供給部に対向する流出孔の径が、0.05〜2mmであることを特徴とする、液滴の製造方法。
- 請求項1〜4の何れか1項記載の液滴の製造方法において、前記供給部と前記供給部に対向する流出孔との間の距離が、0.1〜2mmであることを特徴とする、液滴の製造方法。
- 請求項5記載の液滴の製造方法において、前記供給部と前記供給部に対向する流出孔との間の距離が、0.2〜0.5mmであることを特徴とする、液滴の製造方法。
