Description
(a)触媒成分調製の間、添加される電子供与体の使用を排除するように改変した、米国特許第4,736,002 号に記載の固体触媒成分と
(b)各アルキル基中に炭素原子1〜9個を持つトリ アルキルアルミニウム共触媒成分の、Al/Ti比を約50:1〜約500:1の範囲で与えるに充分な量と
(c)構造式RnSi(OR´)4−n(ここで、n=1〜3であり、R=アリ−ル基またはアルキル基であり、そしてR´=(C1〜3アルキル基である)で表わされるアルコキシシラン外部成分の、有機アルミニウム共触媒対アルコキシシランのモル比が約20:1〜約45:1範囲であるのに充分な量と
を包含する触媒系の存在の下で行われる。
電子供与体例えばアルコキシシランの添加は通常結晶ポリマ−形成を促進することが期待される。しかし、有機アルミニウム共触媒対外部アルコキシシランのある比内では、異例の引張性状と貯蔵弾性係数とを持ったプロピレンと1−ブテンとの実質的に無定形の共重合体を製造できることが発見された。
固体の担持触媒成分は塩化マグネシウム対塩化アルミニウム モル比約8:0.5〜3.0、好ましくは約8:1.0〜1.5を持つ。塩化マグネシウム体四塩化チタン モル比は約8:0.1〜8:1.0、好ましくは約8:0.4〜8:0.6である。
プロピレンと1−ブテンとの重合は200ガロンのジャケット付き連続パイロットプラント反応器中で行なわれる。反応器の温度は反応器ジャケット中の冷却水の循環により調節される。固体担持四塩化チタン触媒成分は 前記の記載に従って調製され、チタン含量約2.3〜 2.7wt%を持っていた。固体触媒成分25wt%含有するスラリ−が脱ガスされたペトロラタム中に調製された。5wt%アルキルアルミニウム共触媒溶液は0.5wt%アルコキシシラン成分溶液のようにn−ヘプタン中で調製された。
Claims (7)
- (a)(i)電子供与体を添加することなく、モル比8:0.5〜8:3でハロゲン化マグネシウム担持基剤と三ハロゲン化アルミニウムとを一緒に細粉砕し、(ii)それから、電子供与体を添加することなく、段階(i)の生成物と、ハロゲン化マグネシウム対四ハロゲン化チタンモル比8:0.1〜8:1.0を与えるのに充分な四ハロゲン化チタンとを一緒に細粉砕することを包含する方法により調製された固体担持触媒成分
(b)Al/Ti 比が50:1〜500:1である量の、各アルキル基中に炭素原子1〜9個を持つトリアルキルアルミニウム共触媒
(c)有機アルミニウム共触媒対アルコキシシランモル比が20:1〜45:1の範囲内にあるのに充分量のアルコキシシラン成分
を包含する触媒系の存在の下でプロピレンと1−ブテンとの単量体を反応させることを包含する方法により製造された、
プロピレン25〜50重量%と1−ブテン75〜50重量%とを包含し、300psigより大きい引張強度を有し、ヘプタン不溶物を含有せず、さらに検出できる融解熱を持たないことを特徴とする、共重合体。 - 温度130〜150°Fの温度でプロピレンと1−ブテンとの単量体を重合させることにより製造された、請求項1に記載の共重合体。
- 圧力250〜350psigでプロピレンと1−ブテンとの単量体を重合させることにより製造された、請求項1に記載の共重合体。
- n=1〜3であり、R=アリ−ル基またはアルキル基であり、R´=C1〜3アルキル基である、構造式RnSi(OR´)4-nで表されるアルコキシシランの群から選んだアルコキシシランを用いて製造された、請求項1に記載の共重合体。
- シクロヘキシルメチルジメトキシシランとフェニルトリエトキシシランとより成る群から選択したアルコキシシランを用いて製造された、請求項1に記載の共重合体。
- ジメチルジエトキシシランとドデシルトリエトキシシランとメチルフェニルジエトキシシランとジメチルジイソプロペノキシシランとメチルオクチルジメトキシシランとメチルトリエトキシシシランとより成る群から選択したアルコキシシランを用いて製造された、請求項1に記載の共重合体。
- プロピレン25〜50重量%と1−ブテン75〜50重量%とを包含し、引張強度300〜900psigを有し、ヘプタン不溶物を包含せず、検出できる融解熱を持たず、そして貯蔵弾性係数8.0〜14.0Mpaを有する、共重合体。
