Description
続された絶縁電気導体とを含む1極式又は多極式プラグ
の構造に関する。この種のプラグは例えば自動車のブレ
ーキ被覆のライニング厚みを監視するための監視器具に
使用され、そして他端部に本来の摩耗センサが配置され
ている1心形又は多心形電線の一端部に設けられてい
る。このような監視器具を製造する際には、先ず、導体
の一端部にセンサ素子が取付けられ、導体は他端部に接
触素子を備える。次に、センサ素子はプラスチックハウ
ジングと共に押出成形され、同じく接触素子を備えた端
部に、一般に熱可塑性プラスチックから構成されるプラ
グハウジングが射出成形される(ドイツ連邦共和国特許
出願公告第2535265号公報及びドイツ連邦共和国特許出
願公開第3904673号公報参照)。
を考慮するために、電気導体のための絶縁物としては一
般に耐熱性プラスチック、例えばポリテトラフルオロエ
チレン(PTFE)が使用される(ドイツ連邦共和国特許第
3324865号公報参照)。しかしながら、このプラスチッ
ク及び類似のフッ素化エチレンポリマーの有極性特性の
ために、プラグ側ハウジングを導体絶縁物上に防湿固定
することは困難である。
気導体もしくは同様にフッ素化エチレンポリマーから成
る外被を備えた被覆電線と、プラグ側端部に射出成形さ
れた熱可塑性プラスチック製ハウジングとの間の防湿結
合を水密に形成するために、本発明によれば、導体の絶
縁物上もしくは外被上に熱可塑性プラスチックから成る
外側被覆を設けることが提案される。このような措置を
講ずることによって、プラグハウジングの熱可塑性プラ
スチック材料は射出成形工程中に被覆の同様な熱可塑性
材料と物質結合を形成し得ることが保証される。ここで
述べた問題は少なくとも約120℃の使用温度にさらされ
る耐熱性プラスチックから成る導体絶縁物又は電線外被
において特に生ずるので、プラグのハウジング用として
ポリブチレンテレフタレート又はポリアミドをベースと
するプラスチックが特に考慮され、一方絶縁物もしくは
外被の被覆はポリエステルをベースとする熱可塑性エラ
ストマー又は軟質にく調整されたポリプロピレンから構
成することができる。この種のプラスチックは市販され
ている。

絶縁導体1はフッ素化エチレンポリマーから成る絶縁物

から成る外側被覆13とを備えた撚り線導体11からそれぞ
れ構成されている。プラグハウジングのための射出成形
工程において、被覆13はプラグハウジングの材料と物質
結合を形成し、それにより絶縁導体1の導入領域は水密
に形成される。
Claims (2)
- 【請求項1】接触素子に接続された絶縁電気導体と、接
触素子、絶縁電気導体及び必要に応じて絶縁電気導体を
囲撓する外被の周りに射出成形された熱可塑性プラスチ
ック製ハウジングとを備えた1極又は多極式プラグにお
いて、フッ素化エチレンポリマーから成る絶縁物(12)
又は共通外被を備えた電気導体を使用する場合、その絶
縁物(12)もしくは外被上に、熱可塑性プラスチックか
ら成る外側被覆(13)を設けたことを特徴とする1極式
又は多極式プラグ。 - 【請求項2】ハウジング(2)はポリブチレンテレフタ
レート又はポリアミドをベースとするプラスチックから
構成され、被覆(13)はポリエステルをベースとする熱
可塑性エラストマー又は軟質に調整されたポリプロピレ
ンから構成されることを特徴とする請求項1記載のプラ
グ。
