Claims (15)
- スパウトを含むパッケージを作成するためのプロセスであって、
(a)スパウトのシーリング領域を前記スパウトの材料の融点以上の温度に加熱することと、
(b)2つの多層構造をそれらの外周の一部の周りで加熱して、シーラント層の外周を互いに接着し、開口部を有する部分的にシールされたパッケージを形成することであって、各多層構造が、多層フィルムを含み、前記多層フィルムが、
112℃未満の融点、ASTM D1238(190℃、2.16kg)で測定したときに0.5〜8g/10分のメルトインデックス(I2)、および0.880〜0.918g/cm3の密度を有する少なくとも40重量%の第1のエチレン系ポリマーを有する前記シーラント層と、
第2のエチレン系ポリマーを含む外層と、
前記シーラント層と前記外層との間に配置され、前記シーラント層よりも少なくとも15℃高い融点を有する少なくとも1つの中間層であって、前記中間層が、0.920g/cm3を超える密度および0.25〜5g/10分のメルトインデックス(I2)を有する第3のエチレン系ポリマー;プロピレン系ポリマー;またはそれらの混合物を含む、少なくとも1つの中間層と、を含む、形成することと、
(c)前記加熱されたスパウトの少なくとも一部を前記開口部に挿入することと、
(d)前記2つの多層構造の対向する表面を前記スパウトの周りでプレスして、前記スパウトの周りの前記開口部を閉じることと、を含む、プロセス。 - 前記シーラント層の前記第1のエチレン系ポリマーが、0.890〜0.908g/cm3の密度および0.5〜3g/10分のメルトインデックス(I2)を有するプラストマーである、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記シーラント層が、0.910〜0.930g/cm3の密度および0.5〜7.5g/10分のメルトインデックス(I2)を有する第1の低密度ポリエチレン(LDPE)ポリマーと、任意にブロッキング防止剤およびスリップ剤のうちの1つ以上と、をさらに含む、請求項1または2に記載のプロセス。
- 前記外層、少なくとも1つの中間層、またはそれらの両方が、0.940〜0.970g/cm3の密度および0.5〜5.0g/10分のメルトインデックス(I2)を有するエチレン系ポリマーを含む、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のプロセス。
- 前記多層フィルムが、前記多層フィルムの総重量に基づいて90重量パーセント以上のエチレン系ポリマーを含む、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のプロセス。
- 前記中間層の第3のエチレン系ポリマーが、少なくとも0.935g/cm3の密度を有する直鎖状低密度ポリエチレン(LLDPE)を含む、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のプロセス。
- 前記多層フィルムが、コア層を含む少なくとも5つの層を含み、前記コア層が、エチレンビニルアルコール、ポリアミド、またはそれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のプロセス。
- 前記中間層の前記第3のエチレン系ポリマーが、無水マレイン酸グラフト化ポリエチレンである、請求項7に記載のプロセス。
- 各多層構造が、前記多層フィルムに積層された第2のフィルムをさらに含む、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のプロセス。
- 前記第2のフィルムが、0.940〜0.970g/cm3の密度および0.5〜5.0g/10分のメルトインデックス(I2)を有する第4のエチレン系ポリマーを含む1つ以上の層を含む、請求項9に記載のプロセス。
- 前記第2のフィルムが、前記第2のフィルムの総重量に基づいて90重量パーセント以上のエチレン系ポリマーを含む、請求項9または10に記載のプロセス。
- 前記第2のフィルムが、二軸延伸ポリプロピレン、二軸延伸ポリアミド、または二軸延伸ポリエチレンテレフタレートを含む、請求項9に記載のプロセス。
- 前記スパウトが、高密度ポリエチレンを含む、請求項1〜12のいずれかに記載のプロセス。
- 前記対向する構造表面が、同時に加熱かつプレスされて、前記スパウトの周りの前記開口部を閉じる、請求項1〜13のいずれかに記載のプロセス。
- 請求項1〜14のいずれかに記載のプロセスによって作製されたスパウトを含むパッケージ。
