Abstract
Description
本発明は、コーティング層を備える硫黄‐炭素複合体であって、
前記硫黄‐炭素複合体は、多孔性炭素材と、前記多孔性炭素材の内部及び表面の少なくとも一部に硫黄とを含み、
前記コーティング層は、硫黄‐炭素複合体の表面に位置し、多孔性炭素材及び点接触バインダーを含む硫黄‐炭素複合体を提供する。
(b)多孔性炭素材及び点接触バインダーを分散媒に分散させて分散液を製造する段階;及び
(c)硫黄‐炭素複合体を前記分散液に投入して湿式混合し、前記硫黄‐炭素複合体の表面に多孔性炭素材及び点接触バインダーを含むコーティング層を形成する段階;を含むコーティング層を備える硫黄‐炭素複合体製造方法を提供する。
前記正極集電体上に正極活物質層;を含むリチウム‐硫黄電池用正極であって、
前記正極活物質層は、前記本発明のコーティング層を備える硫黄‐炭素複合体、導電材及びバインダーを含むリチウム‐硫黄電池用正極を提供する。
前記正極は、前記本発明の正極であることを特徴とするリチウム‐硫黄電池を提供する。
前記硫黄‐炭素複合体は、多孔性炭素材と、前記多孔性炭素材の内部及び表面の少なくとも一部に硫黄とを含み、
前記コーティング層は硫黄‐炭素複合体の表面に位置し、多孔性炭素材及び点接触バインダーを含む硫黄‐炭素複合体に関する。
(a)多孔性炭素材及び硫黄を混合して硫黄‐炭素複合体を製造する段階;
(b)多孔性炭素材及び点接触バインダーを分散媒に分散させて分散液を製造する段階;及び
(c)硫黄‐炭素複合体を前記分散液に投入して湿式混合し、前記硫黄‐炭素複合体の表面に多孔性炭素材及び点接触バインダーを含むコーティング層を形成する段階;を含むことができる。
前記(c)段階は、前記(a)段階で製造した硫黄‐炭素複合体を前記(b)段階で製造した分散液に投入し、湿式混合してコーティング層を備える硫黄‐炭素複合体を製造する段階である。
前記正極集電体上に正極活物質層;を含むリチウム‐硫黄電池用正極であって、
前記正極活物質層は、上述した本発明のコーティング層を備える硫黄‐炭素複合体、導電材及びバインダーを含むリチウム‐硫黄電池用正極に関する。
実施例1
炭素ナノチューブ0.5g及び硫黄1.5gを均一に混合した後、155℃で30分間熱処理して硫黄‐炭素複合体を製造した。
点接触バインダーが硫黄‐炭素複合体の総重量に対して1.5重量%で含まれていることを除いて、前記実施例1と同様に実施してリチウム‐硫黄電池用正極を製造した。
点接触バインダーが硫黄‐炭素複合体の総重量に対して3重量%で含まれていることを除いて、前記実施例1と同様に実施してリチウム‐硫黄電池用正極を製造した。
点接触バインダーを使わないことを除いて、前記実施例1と同様に実施してリチウム‐硫黄電池用正極を製造した。
前記実施例2、実施例3及び比較例1で製造したリチウム‐硫黄電池用正極を65%及び75%の気孔度を有するリチウム‐硫黄電池用正極で製造した。
実施例1及び比較例1の正極を使用し、分離膜でポリエチレンを使用し、負極で150μm厚さのリチウムホイルを使用してリチウム‐硫黄電池コインセルを製造した。この時、前記コインセルは、ジエチレングリコールジメチルエーテル有機溶媒に1M LiFSI、1% LiNO3を溶解させて製造された電解液を使用してコインセルを製造した。
Claims (11)
- コーティング層を備える硫黄‐炭素複合体であって、
前記硫黄‐炭素複合体は、多孔性炭素材と、前記多孔性炭素材の内部及び表面の少なくとも一部に硫黄とを含み、
前記コーティング層は、硫黄‐炭素複合体の表面に位置し、多孔性炭素材及び点接触バインダーを含む、硫黄‐炭素複合体。 - 前記点接触バインダーは、ポリビニルピロリドン、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン、スチレンブタジエンゴム、カルボキシメチルセルロース、ポリフッ化ビニリデン及びポリフッ化ビニリデン‐ヘキサフルオロプロピレンからなる群から選択される1種以上を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の硫黄‐炭素複合体。
- 前記コーティング層の総重量に対して多孔性炭素材が40重量%ないし80重量%及び点接触バインダーが20重量%ないし60重量%で含まれることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の硫黄‐炭素複合体。
- 前記硫黄‐炭素複合体の総重量に対して点接触バインダーは0.5ないし3重量%で含まれることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の硫黄‐炭素複合体。
- 前記コーティング層の厚さは50nmないし100nmであることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の硫黄‐炭素複合体。
- 前記硫黄‐炭素複合体の直径は10μmないし50μmであることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の硫黄‐炭素複合体。
- (a)多孔性炭素材及び硫黄を混合して硫黄‐炭素複合体を製造する段階;
(b)多孔性炭素材及び点接触バインダーを分散媒に分散させて分散液を製造する段階;及び
(c)硫黄‐炭素複合体を前記分散液に投入し、湿式混合して前記硫黄‐炭素複合体の表面に多孔性炭素材及び点接触バインダーを含むコーティング層を形成する段階;を含むコーティング層を備える硫黄‐炭素複合体の製造方法。 - 前記分散媒は、水、アルコール系化合物、ケトン系化合物及びエーテル系化合物からなる群から選択される1種以上を含むことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の硫黄‐炭素複合体の製造方法。
- 正極集電体;
前記正極集電体上に正極活物質層;を含むリチウム‐硫黄電池用正極であって、
前記正極活物質層は、請求項1ないし請求項6のいずれか一項に記載のコーティング層を備える硫黄‐炭素複合体、導電材及びバインダーを含むリチウム‐硫黄電池用正極。 - 前記バインダーは面接触バインダーであることを特徴とする請求項9に記載のリチウム‐硫黄電池用正極。
- 正極;負極;前記正極と負極の間に介在される分離膜;及び電解液を含むリチウム‐硫黄電池であって、
前記正極は、請求項9または請求項10に記載の正極であることを特徴とするリチウム‐硫黄電池。
