Abstract
Description

本発明の実施形態によるポリマーブレンドは、エチレンと本明細書で指定されるある特定の特徴を有するアクリル酸およびメタクリル酸のうちの少なくとも一方とを含むコポリマー、ならびにエチレンと本明細書で指定されるある特定の特徴を有するメチルアクリレートおよびエチルアクリレートのうちの少なくとも一方とを含むコポリマーと、を含む。参照を容易にするために、このようなコポリマーのいくつかはアクリル酸モノマーおよびメタクリル酸モノマーの両方を含むことができるという理解を前提として、エチレンとアクリル酸およびメタクリル酸のうちの少なくとも一方とを含むコポリマーは、本明細書では「エチレン/(メタ)アクリル酸コポリマー」とも呼ばれる。さらに、参照を容易にするために、このようなコポリマーのいくつかはメチルアクリレートモノマーおよびエチルアクリレートモノマーの両方を含み得るという理解の下で、エチレンとメチルアクリレートおよびエチルアクリレートのうちの少なくとも一方とを含むコポリマーは、本明細書では、「エチレン/メチルアクリレートコポリマーおよびエチレン/エチルアクリレートコポリマー」とも呼ばれる。
いくつかの実施形態では、本発明は、少なくとも1つの層が、本明細書に開示される実施形態のいずれかによるポリマーブレンドから形成される多層構造体に関する。多層構造体は、いくつかの実施形態では、少なくとも2つの層を含み、各層が対向する表面を有する。そのような実施形態では、第1の層(A層)(例えば、本発明のポリマーブレンドを含む層)は、第2の層(B層)と接着接触し、第2の層(B層)の上部表面が第1の層(A層)の下部表面に接着接触している。
いくつかの実施形態において、本発明は、本明細書に開示されるいずれかの実施形態の多層構造体を含む包装に関する。特定の一実施形態において、包装は、レトルト包装および/または殺菌包装である。様々な実施形態において、包装は、固体、スラリー、液体、または気体を収容するために使用することができる。限定ではなく例として、包装は、酸性溶液、トウモロコシ油、アルコール、食肉、チーズ、日焼け止め、シャンプー、スパイス、醤油、クリーマー、フレーバーコーヒー、牛乳、ジュース、洗剤、無菌食品、高温充填ジュース、高脂肪食品、赤ちゃん用おしり拭き、ヨウ素溶液、サラダドレッシング、ケチャップ、ソース、およびその他の物品を収容するために使用することができる。
Claims (12)
- ポリマーブレンドであって、
(a)エチレンと、アクリル酸およびメタクリル酸のうちの少なくとも一方と、を含むコポリマーであって、前記コポリマーの重量に基づき2〜21重量%の酸含有量を有し、コポリマー(a)の量が前記ブレンドの総重量に基づき前記ブレンドの20〜80重量%を構成する、コポリマーと、
(b)エチレンと、メチルアクリレートおよびエチルアクリレートのうちの少なくとも一方と、を含むコポリマーであって、前記コポリマーの重量に基づき5〜30重量%のアクリレート含有量を有し、コポリマー(b)の量が前記ブレンドの総重量に基づき前記ブレンドの10〜50重量%を構成する、コポリマーと、を含み、
コポリマー(a)およびコポリマー(b)の量が、前記ブレンドの総重量に基づき前記ブレンドの少なくとも70重量%である、ポリマーブレンド。 - コポリマー(a)とコポリマー(b)とのメルトインデックス(I2)比(コポリマー(a)のI2/コポリマー(b)のI2)が2より大きい、請求項1に記載のポリマーブレンド。
- ポリマーブレンドであって、
(a)エチレンと、アクリル酸およびメタクリル酸のうちの少なくとも一方と、を含むコポリマーであって、前記コポリマーの重量に基づき2〜21重量%の酸含有量を有し、1〜40g/10分のメルトインデックス(I2)を有し、コポリマー(a)の量が前記ブレンドの総重量に基づき前記ブレンドの1〜90重量%を構成する、コポリマーと、
(b)エチレンと、メチルアクリレートおよびエチルアクリレートのうちの少なくとも一方と、を含むコポリマーであって、前記コポリマーの重量に基づき5〜30重量%のアクリレート含有量を有し、0.5〜20g/10分のメルトインデックス(I2)を有し、コポリマー(b)の量が前記ブレンドの総重量に基づき前記ブレンドの1〜50重量%を構成する、コポリマーと、を含み、
コポリマー(a)とコポリマー(b)とのメルトインデックス比(コポリマー(a)のI2/コポリマー(b)のI2)が2より大きい、ポリマーブレンド。 - 0.930g/cm3以下の密度を有するポリオレフィンをさらに含む、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のポリマーブレンド。
- 前記ブレンドが、前記ブレンドの総重量に基づき30重量%以下の前記ポリオレフィンを含む、請求項4に記載のポリマーブレンド。
- 前記ブレンドが、前記ブレンドの総重量に基づき50〜70重量%のコポリマー(a)、30〜50重量%のコポリマー(b)、および0〜20重量%の前記ポリオレフィンを含む、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のポリマーブレンド。
- 少なくとも2つの層を含む多層構造体であって、各層が対向する表面を有し、
A層が、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のポリマーブレンドを含み、
B層が、基材を含み、B層の上部表面が、A層の下部表面に接着接触している、多層構造体。 - 前記基材が金属箔、金属化フィルム、織布マット、不織布マット、またはスクリムを含む、請求項7に記載の多層構造体。
- 前記基材がアルミニウム箔を含む、請求項8に記載の多層構造体。
- C層をさらに含み、A層の上部表面がC層の下部表面と接着接触している、請求項7〜9のいずれかに記載の多層構造体。
- C層がポリオレフィン、ポリアミド、金属箔、または金属化フィルムを含む、請求項10に記載の多層構造体。
- ASTM D3330に従って測定した場合、A層のB層に対する接着力が少なくとも30N/15mmである、請求項7〜11のいずれかに記載の多層構造体。
